i keep getting calls from this number.they have never left a message,as i do not answer because i do not recognise the number.

I had he name wrong its w n positions . It's crazy when your very ill actually waiting for a call from a doctor and this was a local call to my area. They called my husbands phone to. 301-276- 0644. I had heard verizon was going to start selling our info ? I'm creeped out.

It is now APRIL 2013 and this SCAM is continuing.  It is one of the most sophisticated ones I've ever seen.  In reading through these ELEVEN (so far) PAGES of posts, I have copied and pasted  *65* (Sixty-Five!) DIFFERENT phone numbers used by this SINGLE SCAM.  That's as of 4/4/13.

SOMETHING needs to be done about this.  Time to call in the BIG GUNS on this: FCC, FTC, FBI, Navy Seals!

Find these Rat SOBs and NUKE THEM!

Or they are just a stupid IMMIGRANT.

Just because someone is unemployed doesn't mean that don't have good CREDIT to exploit.  

If these Scammers get enough of the right info, they can and WILL steal you IDENTITY by taking out loans, credit cards, etc in your name in locations and institutions that you have NO idea about.  Before you know it, you've got a 'full time job' just sorting out this MESS.

NEVER give personal information to a COLD CALLER (UNKNOWN person who called YOU) without VERIFYING WHO exactly they are and what they *Legitimately* want.  Any doubts - HANG UP.

It is ILLEGAL to ask for someone's AGE or DATE OF BIRTH in regards to EMPLOYMENT, UNTIL you've ALREADY been HIRED.

That is your CLUE that this is a SCAM.

I got the call yesterday on MY cell (pre-paid) from phone number 413-418-1868 which for me is a 'local' call.  While I'm used to these SCAMMERS calling on SPOOFED numbers, it is eerie how he seems to be CUSTOMIZING his 'outgoing' number to the area code of the people he's trying to scam.

I'm amazed at the number of different numbers this guy - or group of thieves - has used.

I do not give out this number so its very disconcerting to get a spam call on it; it is rare, fortunately.  Most of my spam calls [1 - 6 daily :(  ] come in on my long-time landline.

Betting that these calls are coming from JAMAICA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC or some other SCUMBAG location.

Same thing except I explained I did not fill out a survey and even if I did I would not provide any personal info as I was just called from someone I do not know who had information I did not provide.

Even better he called my work cell number to boot. I knew this was a scam however now it's a new PA number ( 484-534-8632) The recording only made it to are you over the age of 18 with my question. I said I would not answer then said good luck in all your future endeavors I am sorry we could not help you then hung up.  Be aware and do not ever provide any personal info unless you know where the call is coming from. If you can at all help it try to never say yes or agree in any way as well.

They called me just now. They called me from this number 413.418.1868. My phone number is also from MA. They ask me if I was there, also pauses after each answer. Asked me if I was under 18, if I had a computer and if I was enrolled at any school. After that I insisted on getting more information about them since I did not remember applying to anything through their website. He them said "based on one of your answers you don't qualify" and jus hanged up.

Apparently this same guy forgot he called me once on 3/12 of this month. This time I filed a report with my local police department as well. I also called the Federal Trade Commission again and was instructed this time to call my Attorney General's Office, of which I will be doing tomorrow when they open. The police told me this is now harrasment and to let them know if he calls me again. This guy is wanted in several states including mine, Pennsylvania, and now Ohio. Be Cautious. When someone calls you do NOT give them any information no matter who they say they are and no matter what they say.

I just got a prank/scam call from a company called W N Positions. My caller ID showed they called me from 610-674-1636 - Pennsylvania. The person said his name was Joseph and he lied and said I filled out a job survey (which I never filled out) AND he want to "verify" all my private information. This is fraud and he is an identity thief. They messed with the wrong girl. If you get a call like this do not give them any of your information. Instead report them to the Federal Trade Commission like I did. The FTC is looking for this individual they told me because he keeps scamming people and calling people, changing his number each time they get close to catching him - a Google search of the company's so called name confirms this.

Monday, March 25, 2013.

Call says I received call because I had expressed interest in information on jobs while I was online. Completely untrue.

They first asked my age group.
When I tried to explain they had the wrong number, they hung up on me.

Reported incident to FTC Do Not Call.

Will also try what another poster suggested, reporting to:
FCC at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
But others have posted that it's not a complaint for FCC but only for FTC.

But if WN Positions keeps changing the # they call from, how can we stop them?

Seems like a ID Theft Operation. This is a huge network using hundreds of local numbers. They are gathering personal information on millions.  All the calls come from a guy Name Joesph or a woman named Amber. They must be the two busiest telemarketers in China. They call from hundreds of numbers simultaneously. This is a very sophisticated operation. The questions are designed to weed you out as a candidate for Identity Theft. If you have allot of dept or bad credit they take you off their list and hang up on you. I'm sure you really don't want to 'Qualify' for their services at all. This is a foreign threat likely from China.

This Joseph called from 610-674-1636 and he hung up real fast when I let him know I was reporting him to the police.

I was passed out asleep and these do***ebags called me. It seems like the AI (guy) is possibly becoming smarter bc I had a short conversation with it. It said it's typical introduction and then asked if I remembered filling out an online survey about jobs and I hesitated to answer..so it asked me again and didn't sound at all like AI. I just filled out an employers survey (the one that seems to be standard on any application) a few days ago but I thought it would be weird if they were calling about that so I asked if it could tell me what site I had accessed the survey on and it said I do not have that information. Then I went on to explain how I wanted to verify that they were a legitimate service/company and in the middle of talking, it just cuts me off and says "*something* thank you and goodbye."  

The number appeared as (910)258-0240

Go to ftc.gov and click on the "File a Complaint" link.  Expect it to take 10 minutes or so to answer the questions.

I get calls from local numbers about job placement multiple times a week. When I call the number (804) 205-1855) a "man" starts asking me questions about my education, student loans, employment status, and then I am told I don't qualify. Then I am hung up on. I will be blocking this number.

I am not job searching at all and im getting them.

I got a call from local number 603-681-0521.  Same phone call format, a very cheerful man's voice, hello are you there followed by the qualifier questions.  When they asked to then start my profile for job opportunities with my name, I went no further telling them that I was very uncomfortable with this.  I never did fill out an online survey.  This make me very angry!

I got a call while already on another call so I clicked over to hear a mans voice saying are you there. I hung up and once finished with my other call did a reverse number search. (302) 451-9227 the number is listed as DUPONT so of course I wondered hmmm I know someone at DuPont so I called to find out it was WN Positions and I get the recording that all have been complaining about. How did they get my cell number? From doing job searches from my phone? I have been using indeed.com. So now I am wondering what did I open that gave them access to my cell number. I am so glad I looked online to see what the company was about since I cant seem to get thru to the number I figured let me do some research. I laughed at one video here. Why do they have to ask your name when they contacted you? I would think they would know who they are calling.

My parents got a call from WN positions and my mom was talking to him. She knew it was a scam so she was trying to annoy him and kept talking to him. He hanged up many times but my mom kept him busy with calling him to get him annoyed. She was having fun with it. The man kept repeating the same things.

Later I called him and when il looked on google I saw there were over 20 numbers that WN positions has used, so he must be using some sort of app on the phone that does this. When I called him I only talked to him for a minute. I told him I need some identification, I said that like 20 times and he finally laughed and said "have a nice day" then he hanged up.

I got the same scam from the number 505 652 4946 after answering some questions strange voice told me "you do not qualify for the position". I called back WN Positions and talked to Joseph. I asked "Are you a Robot?" and He said: "yes". I got fired by robot!

I thin it has something to do with my response to Craglist ad.

Not sure who these people are but they need to be cited and fined for the matter. +1 985 208 3063 and whole matter is automated, do not give them information.

Yah me also when you call them back it looks like a local # but thats not true I live in ctrl time zone the msg says call back during normal business hours8am to 5 pm est,? I have had a scam that was on craigs list that looked like a local # but that was not true, they can do this by doing some thing on the computer to make it look like its a local # as the sheriff told me about that when I reported that problem.

I just got a phone call from 513-399-6258  I answered with my birthday and he asked again but I hung up the phone.

It's not the FCC you need to call but the FTC (Federal Trade Commision). I just got a call from WN Positions a little while ago, they're still at it. I called the FCC about it and they told me to call FTC.

Joseph is SO rude and disrespectful.  When askedb2 speak to a manager her hung up on me 3 times in a row!  I dont eva want 2 hear from this co again!

I received the same call today from Joseph Peters in Orlando, FL. the number was 307-460-7149. It sounds like a real person but it was actually a recording. I realized this when I interrupted him twice to ask a question and he just kept talking. When I asked if it was a recording he actually said "YES". The complete silence in between questions is what made me realize it wasn't legit.
