Joan Coughlin, BBB spokeswoman, said the letter leads to "a telemarketing scam. They use deceptive marketing tactics as a hook to lure consumers who then must participate in both the marketing study and promotion, and also will be required to attend a meeting to promote a travel club. Also, there is concern that by calling the phone number on the postcard, consumers' phone numbers may be shared or sold for future sales calls."

lol if you DID HAVE, you certainly wouldn't have a time share or need a fee tablet...it's those that DON"T have, that do time shares, duh. Suckers. it's how the "conservatives" bilk the have nots. THEY (who Dudley works for) OWN their own homes/ condos in all the beautiful and expensive places and can use them year round. While you "share" living quarters like rats they want to keep you...cuz it's off the little guys backs they OWN and YOU BARROW what they OWN. LOL, it's like a renter who leases to many people in the same year. LOL if you think anyone is "jealous" over THAT you are kidding yourself. I can come and go anyplace I wish even as a have not...I do not have to live on another's(or more) schedule and come out under a time share price. Dudley is the "salesman" for who ever is doing the TS or now since time share has a bad name they call it "travel club" lol whooo you are so prestigious LOL

Wow great thing I googled this. They are now in Chicagoland area. The card they are using is a Parcel Pickup that sort of looks like UPS. Problem is my wife wants beat me over the head for calling that number and making an appointment. I cancelled of course. Just remember my wife's words. The only thing free is a SCAM!!

I have a timeshare, I am "stuck" with it and then so will my son. I pay high fees each year. I also have to pay something to use it according to different rules. I can't use it much because I have to work, my son has a couple of times. Renting it out reaps only half because of what the rental company takes. Would you like me to continue? I have one and it its not all that the timeshare makes it out to be. If Dudley is on the level, why do they not just say there is a presentation to go to? Stay away from this one. If you want a timeshare, buy one at a discount from someone who wants to get rid of theirs. But there are still fees. And your kids will be stuck with it.

Dudley Media Gp. . "SCAM" big time. Remember you never get anything for free. Have to listen to their bull about time shares.
Almost got me... 2014-03-13 12:45:08 Unknown
Until I saw this "Sherrie" change her story several times, I was scheduled for this evening. Thanks....got my evening back.
Anna 2014-03-10 18:06:31 Unknown
What is the presentation about and did you have to go far?
L 2014-03-07 21:12:19 Unknown
I agree. I just received my second letter like this and it went in the garbage again. I'm not sure if it was from the same address/marketing company or not but the letter was identical. I just wanted to see what kind of comments were out there about this.
No fool 2014-03-05 23:05:22 Unknown
That's a whole lotta money just to get a "free" Android tablet.
yo yo 2014-03-04 04:10:29 Unknown
I'll put it with my Obama phone.
Mike 2014-03-03 23:18:21 Unknown

Agreed! And speaking a greed.. its all about the $$!
CelticDragon 2014-03-02 04:36:41 Unknown
You're knocking the negative views only because they're cutting into your ill-gotten gains. Why don't you post all of your info instead of picking and choosing links that suit what you are saying
anon 2014-03-02 03:49:34 Unknown
Yet you are discounting what other travellers have said - and they most definitely have valid viewpoints. Just searching across the Internet brings up numerous unhappy customers, with tales of deceptive marketing, no cancellation allowed, etc. Hardly the mark of an upstanding company.
Gallus 2014-03-02 03:35:06 Unknown
It's all to do with the deceptive marketing - and outright lying. Saying people have "won" something, but they have to then go to a presentation and pick up the item personally. Very deceptive. If you've won something, you don't have to go through hoops to receive the item, or pay money either.
Kari 2014-03-02 01:58:44 Unknown
I didn't. But the person prior only boasted negative. As I said not everyone is satisfied... But not everyone is satisfied with everything. For instance I hate starbucks and have had crappy experiences, but that doesn't mean it wasn't good for someone else. I would love to see a review of something where there is not one negative review. I don't think that's possible. However we are all given the ability to make our own decisions. My family made ours and we are happy. I hope you are happy with whatever decisions you make in life. I'm done on this thread- I've got Game of Thrones to read....

There are plenty of positive reviews as well as negative.
Just think of all the complaints Walmart and Target get on a daily basis. Does that prevent u from walking in the store?
Oh well, if you don't want to hear anything positive about something, I will stop talking. You have already made your mind and my words are useless to you.

I'm no shill for any company I can guarantee you that. Just an honest person who dislikes when people judge without validation. Enjoy your weekend.
snyper 2014-03-01 23:59:04 Unknown
The more you rant about how amazing this offer is, the more you convince us you are a shill. At first you had a bit of integrity, but now....
buh bye
snyper 2014-03-01 23:56:43 Unknown
I charge 450$ an hour for my time. I doubt that any free no-name tablet would be worth that, especially if you have to wait for 2.5 hrs to receive it. I would say "thanks for the coaster, I'll send you a bill for the balance of what you owe me".
Kari 2014-03-01 23:54:01 Unknown
I'm good thanks. I'll enjoy my vacations. Was just on St Martin on Sept. There is no scam. I am not being deceived. Global Discovery Vacations has enabled me to go to places we could never afford. So you continue to live in your tiny little world while I go explore the wonders of this Earth. I'm just trying to put a fair review on something that I am a member of. Are you a member?
snyper 2014-03-01 23:49:51 Unknown
We call them as we see them. Most of us have been around the block more than once and know the signs. I've been informed correctly that ostriches don't bury their heads n the sand, but perhaps you should take yours out and smell what the Rock is crooking because it stinks.
Kari 2014-03-01 23:46:38 Unknown
It's because the marketing group just brings the people in to hear the presentation. It has nothing to do with GDV. And typically negative news travels faster than positive. And people calling it a scam before they go doesn't seen like a fair judgement.
MJG 2014-03-01 23:39:08 Unknown
Looks like there are more unhappy customers than happy shills.
Kari 2014-03-01 23:20:34 Unknown
Also the android tablet comes from Dudley marketing group. The travel club is Global Discovery Vacations. We have belonged for 3 years and have enjoyed everything about it. If you have questions let me know. I do not not feel it is right to bash a company just because people are judging a book by its cover.
Kari 2014-03-01 23:09:57 Unknown
Hi
We actually belong to the global travel club that the presentation is about. My parents went a couple years ago to one of these. This is no scam. Yes you do have to pay to join. A one time fee of 5900. Then you are able to go to trips all over the globe for basically 159 a week. We have used this 3 times so far- punta Cana, port clinton, and st Martin. They were beautiful resorts and we would have spent the 5900 alone for one of the places. We are booked for cabo San Lucas in June. If you do not travel, or do not wish to travel, this isn't for you. Yes the android tablet is a way to get you in and see the presentation, but it has been the BEST investment that my family has made.
Don't knock something Til you try it.
