Now  a new number from 714-975-7620 saying they are Attorneys- Each time I call back. get a different name on the voice mail-  threatening to contact my employer???   The debt is over 2 yrs old, funny, Wachovia would have contacted me 2 yrs ago, IF they were trying to collect.  SCAM ARTIST ARE STILL GOING STRONG!!!!

Calls me several times in a row....no message. When I call them I get machine that puts me on hold right away without company ID.

Yep, they called me twice today saying it was Wachovia, but the accents are foreign and the speaker's english is not good.

Call is from Wachovia Retail Credit and Collections Department.

Can't be Wachovia...they claimed that they were calling about an overdue balance on my "Wachovia mortgage."  When I said I don't have a Wachovia mortgage, they asked for my Social Security number.  Real banks don't do that.

Okay, I have called  Wachovia no less than six TIMES this morning. THey keep transferring me to different departments and hanging up on me!!

I am completely irate over this same situation. I've called Wachovia and get the same idiotic people telling me that they are making courtesy calls to see if I want to make my payment before the grace period is over. However, no one is EVER on the line when they call me. I've had it and I am never late on my payment. I view this as complete harassment because the "auto dialer" hangs up on me and no one from Wachovia has EVER been on the other end of the line. I am under the care of a physician for anxiety disorder and this completely stresses me out. It's also very embarrassing! What is the number for the better business department? Does it vary from state to state? I?ve never been late on my mortgage payment and THEY ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY!!

it is a collect agency for wachovia bank. call wachovia bank to get the calls stopped and if this does not work, report wachovia to the better business bureau. it worked for me.

I have been receiving calls from this number in short incriments, a few times a day for about a week now.  It drives me crazy.  They ask for someone who does not work here and when I tell them that and ask them to stop calling, they clearly refuse.  They also never leave messages, just continue to call.  At first I checked the company directory, thinking they had the wrong direct extension, but no one with that name existed, but the calls don't stop...ever.  How can I get them to stop calling?

I forgot to say, they do this several times a day, starting just after 8 AM until as late as almost 9 PM.

It's most likely a robocall computer doing the actual calling.

I've been getting massive amounts of calls from this number.  They call, get the answering machine, hang up, and then call again one minute later.  They don't leave a message that time, either.

The Caller ID does NOT say Wachovia on any of mine.  In the past, when Wachovia has called about a late payment (several months late), they left messages.

Either this is a scam or they've changed their collection methods.  Remember, they just got bought out by Wells Fargo.  (As a Charlottean, there's no way I wouldn't know this!)

What do you mean they are not Wachovia then who are they. I get theses calls all day and they never leave a message. I do have late bills with Wachovia but they call me and leave message...we communicate. So who is this?

I was a week late on a loan and was called by this number, 877-307-1252.  They had all my information on file.  I paid over the phone and just looked it up as it seemed suspicious.  Saw this site.  

So, I called my local branch and they called and confirmed and verified that it is indeed the corporate office of Wachovia.  They seem to be calling anybody who is 7 days late on loans.

THEY ARE NOT WACHOVIA...BE VERY VERY CAREFUL. IT IS A SCAM

These people just want money!!! Even if you are just a week late!!!

Received a call from this number 877-307-1252 and the caller named "Tom" said he was from Wachovia Bank. He said we owed them $350.00. My wife called the number and it was Wachovia but they told us we didn't owe them money and we were all current with our bills. We were also told they didn't understand to why we were being called. After my wife spoke with them, i received a second call later in the day from the same number, but they hung up after the caller was told i work for a law enforcement ageny. Hmmmm
