In the last two weeks, I have received a total of 26 (as I recall) calls from 877-309-3110. They never leave a message (these calls go to my mobile phone). These calls occur at the MOST INOPPORTUNE moments! This is most nettlesome behavior. I recently learned this number belongs to Argosy University. For an institution of higher learning, they appear to be most insensitive to people's needs.

I requested more information about their institution a few months ago and I asked that they send me email information only. However, they kept calling me at work and when I tried to get off of the line, the woman told me that it was extremely important that I give her a ton of info about myself (even when I said it was imperative that I get back to work). She made me stay on the line for half an hour doing a phone interview! Now they have been calling me incessantly for months about attending their institution, even when I said I was just browsing different schools in the area. AAAAH! What a way to turn off potential grad students.

I requested information last year and when I did I received about 5 calls in two weeks, but it stopped for a while. During that time they would always leave a message. Until the last couple days they started up again. I've received two calls in the last two days and I don't imagine they'll quit anytime soon, this time they are not leaving any messages.

I had signed up for recieving information from a number of grad programs back in October. I ended up enrolling with one through USC and so therefore started replying back to all the schools e mails that i was no longer intersted as I had chosen a program. Stopped recieving information from argosy for a month or two, and now I have been getting these exact calls that call and call all day long but never leave a voice mail. I didnt know who was calling (i don't answer unknown numbers) until i looked it up on here. Come on, give it up!

I have recently started recieving calls from this number, and it is so weird the caller never left me any message, and when I tried to google this number I was surpised to know the number is actually belong to Argossy University.  Why does an educational institution such Argosy would do this "telemarketing-like" approach?? Still having hard time to beleive this.

I get phone calls from this number at least 3 or 4 times a day. When I don't answer, they never leave a message, and when I do answer, they hang up. Reading the other posts, I know how they have my number: I was checking into Psychology schools for Graduate programs, and believe they got my number that way. I have asked for them to remove my number, obviously to no avail. If it comes down to it, I may have to start talking about harassment. This is ridiculous.

This number keeps calling me.... I never answer as I don't answer any call that shows up on my cell phone caller id as only a number.  How do I get them to stop.... my step-daughter was contacted by them months ago after she filled out some online college survey or something to find a college in our area that specialized in psychology... she gave them my cell number as a back up... she recently changed hers so I am guessing they are now longer able to call her at all hours of the day. so they are calling me. should I start calling this number back at all hours of the day and night.

This is from Argosy University -- I did try and look into their clinical psychology program, although not impressed at all. I am surprised that the program is APA accredited. Also, education should not be turned into a business such as this one. Requested to get my number taken off the list and the lady apologized and took me off the list. Hopefully no more phone calls!

Argosy calling to try to sucker more people in. They have been spam calling me for months. I have asked to be put on a do not call list and to be taken off of any other call lists. She refused and I told her that my lawyer would be contacting them. At that point she removed me from the list. I guess time will tell if she actually did.

Several hang-up calls. No messages left. This is annoying and the phone always rings at the most inopportune time--WHILE I HAVE STUDENTS IN THE CLASSROOM! This number appears on my cellular phone frequently. Since I know it's not a debt collector, this constitutes harassment.

Kept getting these calls too and finally called back and it was Argosy University. I'm in the process of applying to clinical psychology programs and made the mistake of contacting this school about their program, and now they seem to be stalking me! Scary. Can't believe thier programs are APA accredited. Hopefully they take me off their phone list otherwise I may need to follow up with legal action for harrasment.

Yeah I think I'm getting these at home too. Doesn't really bug me since I never pick up, but least I know who it is now.

This Argosy University, trying to sell their charade of an academic program. They've been spamming me with calls and junk mail for months now. Do they really think they're going to lure an applicant by harassing them to no end? They specialize is psychology no less, which makes their attempts even more pathetic.

Today, 17 Feb 2010 this NUmber call me and when I want to answer it was hung up.

wtf?? typical call + hang up- on my brand new cell # too. Ugh...morons.
