Another unknown number

Call several times a day but always hang up!

None. Did not answer phone, no message left on machine.

Autism Foundation - Wings of Hope.  Can't confirm they are a non-profit.  They are trying to find people to send out donation forms/envelopes to your neighbors for them.  (I was suckered in last year.)

Receiving calls from this number,too. So much for "the do not call list". I think we get more phone calls than   before we went on the list! AND they all seem to call as we are getting ready to sit down for a meal!

We too are getting phantom calls from this number.  I never attempt to answer it, and after 4or 5 rings it stops.  So much for being on the Do Not Call Registry.  Good luck with reporting the number to the AG's office, I thnk I'll start with my carrier.  Can't take it any more with these calls.  That number is just one of 5 right now that are unrelenting.

ON DO NOT CALL LIST... SEVERAL CALLS..NO ONE ANSWERS WHEN I PICK UP..SO MUST BE ON A COMPUTER CALLING SERVICE.  AM GOING TO REPORT TO NYS ATTORNEY GENERAL TO INVESTIGATE WHY THEY CALL WITH NO CID AND ARE HARASSING ME WITH CALLS.

Number had come up several times on caller ID without a corporate or individual name. One I picked up and didn't say anything to see if a robo message would kick in, and got silence.      Just now I picked up and said hello, that rolled it over to a woman who said she was from the Autism (then she faded on the following word, was it organization?). I told her I never make donations over the phone, she said it wasn't like that and she started to tell me that New York State has a high rate of autism. She wanted to mail me 15 letters and envelopes that I would address to my neighbors! I said No - that I did not agree over the phone to making in-kind contributions any more than to cash contributions.   Byebye.

If anyone can find out what organization is really behind this, it can be checked out by Better Business Bureau or Charity Navigator.

They call nearly every day, My caller ID says Unknown and there's never anyone on the other end or I just get a dial tone when I pick up. I'd decided not to bother anymore and did a search. I found this post, and called the number mentioned above and told them to take me off their calling list. I hope it works.

As with Armitage112, they identified as an Autism group when you call this number back. They do give a number to call to get a live person (866-582-7634)--I called and told them to take me off their phone list. You must give your name and zip code, but they do say they will remove you from the list.
