A woman called and said she was from Quest Diagnostics and wanted to confirm my address. She rattled off the wrong address. I told her I don't give info out to 800 numbers, so she should provide me with the local Quest Lab number and I'd call there. She said '877' and I said, "That's not a local number." She then kept saying that she couldn't hear me. I asked for a local Quest number again and for the reason she was calling. She said, "I told you" and then hung up on me.

on may 13, 2013, i had a test.
my insurance paid their portion of an 83.00 bill leaving me a balance of 12.54. on june 11, 2013, quest diagnostics left a msg. to call them at this number.
i could not understand the number so found EOB from ins. and the testing lab number and called them and they said quest was their parent co.
unbelievable, that less than 30 days after my test, insurance paid, and billing is calling me for $12.54. Lab said they didn't show they'd mailed us a bill and would do so immediately.i think i'll be able to pay this bill in full in a one-time payment. LOL.

Yep, think it's Quest - the medical testing company. I must've had a balance after my insurance paid PART of my testing fees. Insurance companies pay less and less nowadays....
