This number keeps calling me many times a day even when I ask them to stop. The debt they say I owe I have already paid in full and have proof. They will just not listen to me. I also ran a credit report and the debt they say I owe is not listed there...... scam do not give your info to these people!

My friend received a call from this phone # and got the same crap that PRECIOUS received about the 1099c.  It is illegal to threaten someone with jail, which is what they threatened my friend with.  I worked for Bank of America/Security Pacific for over 28 yrs.  I was a fraud investigator.  I could not threaten suspects of fraud with jail in order to obtain restitution; YOU CANNOT THREATEN SOMEONE WITH JAIL TO CLEAR A DEBT.  IT IS ILLEGAL.  The state of Oregon outlawed these payday loan companies, who were charging outrageous interest rates many years ago.  So, now they are trying to collect on a debt my friend supposedl incurred back in 2007.  They told her the original debt was $330.00 and that now it was $660.00.  They told her they were going to file charges in Washington County, because that is where she lives.  If there was a debt back in 2007, she did not reside in  Washington County, she resided in Lane County.  You do not file a crime report where the suspect/victim lives.  You file the crime report where the crime occurred.  My friend is elderly, as am I and lives on Social Security, a very limited social security.    I would love to contact these people.  I would love to have these SCAMMERS put behind bars for the outrageous tactics they are using.  It is similar to the old con game known as a PIGEON DROP, OR A BAIT AND SWITCH, OR A BANK EXAMINER SCAM.

IIf I remember correctly, using illegal tactics and threats to collect on a debt, nullifies the debt COMPLETELY.

They are full of it! The 1099C refers to a debt which is forgiven by a creditor. Forgiven debt may be taxable. For example, you owe me $300 and I forgive the debt, the IRS considers this additional taxable income.

This pack of scammers do not own your debt so they can not forgive it. Therefore there is no 1099C filed by them with the IRS. In addition, if there was the IRS would contact you in writing giving you proper notice.

Ask these idiots to validate the debt in writing as required by the FDCPA. Watch how fast they hang up the phone. They do not own the debt and do not have the required documentation to litigate.

also when these low lifes calls you ask for there license number to collect in your state and they have to give it to you and make sure you check it out remember your dealing with low lifes and they will lie to you
if this a PDL go to ask.com type in what states is a PDL is illegal and you will get a list of 12 states and other states has guidelines,, in the illegal states they do not have a license to loan you money if they take you to court you mention to the judge they have no license to loan you money your case will be dismissed and the low life company will be fined thousands of dollars

PRECIOUS...these IDIOTS cannot garnish your wages with a 1099c,,a 1099c is for the monies that you didnt pay to the creditor so now it becomes a profit and you have to pay taxes on the monies you didint pay and just the IRS handles that not the low life sleazy debt collection company
anyway when these low lifes calls you again you say im waiting for my 982 tax form and im reporting that im insolvent which will wipe out the 1099c and also im having you investigated because my original creditor already took the loss on this debt and that means you cant claim any losses

I got a call from this company yesterday. Stating that they are in the process of garnishing my wages with a 1099c form that they are filing with the IRS....Now I have gotten some calls from creditors and usually know which ones to ignore but these company has scared the s*** out of me. I'm trying to see should I pay these people to avoid court ligation(per rep from company) and court fees.If anyone knows the true with these people please tell me what to do if its bogus then I'm fine but if its legit I don't want to owe them 3600 which he said they will take out my taxes. When I can just make arrangements to pay him the 600. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I got the call from 716-402-5939 reading my last names and blurting out my last 4 digist of my social on a msg w/ a bunch of threats. and that "I better do this, and i better do that" or I was going to have leans on my stuff.... I have not gotten collection letters and never lived in VA so have NO idea why these ppl are even messing w/ me!! what's worst is when I call, they are "closed" for the day.

This ppl claim, that i'm going to have some crap filed w/ the Prince county in VA. I have lived in texas ALL my life and have NO idea what they're even talking about. Tried to scare me that I owe ppl money. Pls...

They called and sounded  so scared their number comes from Texas or New Jersey or New York.Bogus! The Hamm's Beer Bear don't take fake calls!

Please stop calling me.  Seriously, I was scared when you guys first called me 4 years ago, as a diffrent company, but after you could not provide proof that I actually owe the money, I realized that you just want to scam me out of money.  I guess what I am trying to say is, I know who you are and I know what you are doing, so please just leave me alone.

This is a legit company I have gotten all legitimate docs from this company and given to my attorney and he has verified how legtimate the company was this was.If only i would have listened to the rep when they called to help me out.
