Continue to get calls from NRA on this and other #'s.  Have asked repeatedly not to call, & return letters asking for money!

It's true this number CLAIMS to be the NRA....but like several other nefarious organizations, it's NOT the National Rifle Association.  It's just one of many health insurance, or other telemarketers, using the abbreviation NRA to cover their real company name.

Ignored the call to see if they left message. They did not. Called the number which is in fact the NRA. Select prompt two to talk to a representative. Informed same my number is on the DNC registry. They asked for my name which I told them they do not need and just take my number off the list. The representative was polite and attentive. I am an NRA Life Member.

The phone number 877.318.1086 is NOT the National Rifle Association...it is National Recovery Associates (aka NRA)  that try to collect debts. At least that is what others say...I refuse to talk to anyone that does not put a name with a number.  ..I don't know if they are even legal or not...I don't answer any 800 or 877 numbers anymore.  And don't they all seem to call right at meal times?  gee whiz!!

Unfortunately, that means that my home number is on their list THREE TIMES. We're getting several of these calls PER DAY. I am a huge proponent of what the NRA stands for, but this is getting absolutely ridiculous.

This is the NRA, but not the one we belong to. It's the National Recovery Assetts Company. They are a bunch of low lifes who take advantage of the real NRA.

I get repeated calls from the NRA.  They use this one: (877) 318-1086, as well as numerous other numbers.  I quit my membership, and I asked that they quit calling me.  When they call, they claim I am still a member.  NOT!  They never leave a message on these numbers.  Just "missed calls."

Does anyone know for sure if this is  the "National retailers Association" or the "National Rifle Asso" ???

This is another outfit using the initials NRA trying to piss people off at the National Rifle Association.  Probably a democratic front organization trying to get people pissed at the real NRA as part of their schemes to disarm the American populace as part of their instilling communism here.  They need us defenseless to insure we can't prevent it.  Just block their numbers because they won't stop calling.  Its their aim to piss you off not to collect funds, thats just icing on the cake if you're that dumb to support their commie agenda.  Thats why it does no good to complian to the gov't about these calls.

Too many calls for adding to Call Block. National Recovery Associates?

If it is National Rifle Association asking for contributions, they need to flag members like myself who explained what happens when permanent disability accident leads to early retirement with major life style change from middle class wage earner to introduction of survival mode in poverty reality.

One polite caller said was making a note about my request to stop calls, and then sensing I was about to hang up, cheerfully asked if twenty dollars can be spared!

This is the National Rifle Association. Call the number if you think I'm wrong.I have been a member in the past so their call to me is legal under the Do Not Call registry rules. They are registered Non-profit, but NOT CHARITABLE and so do not qualify for the charity exemption. You must be a member or a former member for them to be able to legally call you if your number is registered. Any good organization will remove you from their call list if you ask. NRA has been a good organization, but their fund raising mailings (which I called and told them to quit sending, they did) and calls get to be annoying.

Likely a 'fund raising' company who is raising money for the NRA, AND... gets a percent of the collected monies. I get one or mre calls from them every day PLUS a dozen others from "anonymous / private caller". It rings 5 times, goes to voice mail. They hang up as soon as the "voice" answers.

Have been a life member of NRA since 1956.  I support them, but I will not respond to phone calls that conceal true ID.  My response is, pick up and hang up.

I get calls all the time from the NRA. I have been a Life Member since the early 1980's and have donated many times. However, these telemarketers do not quit, and belive me you can't insult them. I have finally put a call blocker in place to stop the calls.

We're Not members of NRA, never have been-never will be members, so why the he!! Do they keep calling several times a day!? Everyday!? For over a year now!? We are on the Do Not Call list.
