See my previous post.  I just got called again from this number, it's been about a month since last one.  In between, I got calls from other numbers/scammers.  FYI:  I finally learned how to block individual numbers from an  I-phone:  First, update your software to the latest.  Second, go to Contacts:  You must add a new contact, which MUST  include a name (E.G. Scam A), then the number.  Then go to Settings>>Phone>>Call block.  A screen will come up from contacts:  select Scam A, then Block this number.  It has worked for me, and now I'll do it with this number.  WORD OF CAUTION:  If you delete the unwanted contact, you'll delete the block also.  

I have been called by this number to my cell phone before, just called me again.  They are debt collector scammers who are looking for working cell numbers.  Then, THEY can do a search, find out who you are, then proceed to send you notices of supposed debt you owe.  If it gets this far, it's hard to correct.  Best advise is to NOT answer these unknown callers from the beginning, and NEVER call them back.  They are criminals, often overseas, and don't care about US laws.

Calls almost daily. Never leaves a message. Won't leave a message when you want one. Total harassment!!!!! If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.

Weird...when I picked up the phone the lady goes, "hello?" and when I replied, "hello?" she just hung up. Rude! I guess I wasn't who she wanted to answer the phone!

They called me and ask for my ex-husband we have been divorced for years.  I changed my number prior to the divorce because my ex-husband was calling me and harassing me.  So I would like to know how they got my new number because my ex-husband doesn't even have it.

under my caller ID it is listed a N Lend Grroup,  no furthur information available.  They dont leave a message when they call.....

this agency uses various phone #'s to call from. my number is listed under a pseudonym to avoid paying unlisted charges.

Got this one today also,  came up listed under Caller ID as N LEND GRP.  Started to leave a message and then they cut themselves off.  First time for this one I do believe.....

They call and say nothing, just stay on the line and then they hang up.

Having the same problem.. I do not owe this comapny any money,, I owe NO ONE any money,, so sick of this S***.. those uneducated bastarrds that sit in their tiny booths harrassing people all day should just hang themselves or go back to school and get a real job.. A***OLES

I owe no money to you. Stop calling.  No one talks or leaves a message!!  I will report your 4 times a day calls to the BBB, and anone else to stop harrassing calls all day abnd night for no reason.

They called and did not leave a message, so I called them back to see what was up.  The company is Northland Collection Agency.  I talked with one of their reps and gave them the telephone number they keep calling me at (my home nbr).  The representative said they were trying to reach Steven Col...  When I said I did not know that individual, she said thanks and would take my number out of their system.  She was very courteous and willing to fix the problem.  Hopefully I won't be getting any more calls.

These are mass fishing expeditions. Debt buyers obtain thousands of these old debts, and then farm them out to collection agencies like Northland. The liquidation on these accounts is very low. They only have to get a small percentage of consumers to pay, to make it profitable. The calls are an attempt to get a few people to play ball. Once they engage someone on the phone, they will attempt to intimidate with threats of doom if you don't pay them. Usually these debts are too old to be sued upon. There's nothing they can do to anyone. Ignore them.

This company calls periodically ... apparently just to provide random harrassment.  They never leave a message and hang up if the phone is answered.  I might guess that they are part of the normal pond scum, who seem to thrive by being a nuisance via the phone.

Have sent 2 letters and  also phoned to say my husband owed a debt on a crdit card which was paid off many years ago. He only had one credit card in his lifetime. Rick was his name and said he was a debt collector and asked for my husband who is 80 years old and in Hospice. He would only speak to me if I said I was his wife, which I did not respond to. The statue of limitations  is five years in Florida and is long time gone, my husband has no debts and only has Social Security disability as income. We have enough problems and do not need to be harassed by some bogus debt collector.

I a getting calls every day, their exact words are: Is Julian there? Then they hang up. We've been receiving calls for the last 3 months, is incredible..

Please pass this along. I have a simple phone number and I get collection calls all the time for people I've never heard of. When I get a call from an 800, 877 or 866 number, I answer the phone, "Brown, Williams, and Harrison Law Group. How may I help you?"

1. When they realize they're calling a business, they WILL remove the number.

2. When they realize they're calling a Law Office, they will MAKE SURE they remove the number.

3. If it's for you, then you can just take the call.

Call 1 = Picked up call.  Caller did not answer. Hung -up.
Call = 2 Missed call.  Caller did not leave message.

-We are keeping an accurate detail of date / time of calls as well as actions of caller.
-Plan on filing a FORMAL complaint with state DCCA and they promised to help
us file complaint with US Gov.
-We have been receiving these calls from this company for almost 8 months. Repeatedly
told them they have the wrong number. They have assured us they would stop, after a month
or so they start again.

-If you think they are harassing you, call your state DCCA and get them to help you.
-Keep accurate records

This unknown pioneer person been calling my private(d and says nothing by leaving a message on
my answer calling voice, he or she says nothing. If it's keeps it up, Iam going to turn the caller
number and name over to the Authorities to track them down.

If they keep calling you, check statute of limitations in your state for uncollateral debt.  Saw on News show how they sell your name and can't legally collect debt.  They try to intimidate you into paying with empty threats.  Most are a telphone in a small room rented somewhere.  Beware!  Just pocket your money!

These people call me once a day for someone and I tell them they are not at this number and to please stop calling as you are upsetting my husband who just returned from the hospital after having open hear surgery.  They won't f'n stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    I am going to check with my office (attorneys) and find out what I can do.

I get many calls from this and other toll-free numbers, all asking for "Elena Perez", and I tell them there is no Elena Perez here and I have this phone number for more than three years. I ask them to remove my number from their call list, they say they will but I still get these calls every 4-6 weeks.

First time caller here.
These companies just keep on selling your name off to one another, usually after a one to 6 month period, once they realize they can not reach you.

So it's a new month, and a new slew of numbers to not answer.
What a game !
