I pressed stop and got a message saying you're not currently a motime member for help text help...prob going to take more money off....why are they still up why doesn't the police stop them from doing this...there must be something we can do..this is messed...they just take money from people like this

I was charged $11.00 + HST on my monthly Bell Mobility bill for messages by Motime.ca, a company that sells phone ring-tomes.  Apparently they can send you a text(s) and set you up as  an account (read victim) then use this specious acccount to run a charge through your phone company.  I gather this charge would be a recurring one unless the customer takes action to stop it.  I called them and demanded that they stop this "account" which they agreed to do, but they refused to refund the money already taken.

Try filed a report with the Better Business Bureau.  The city this company located is Toronto as they will ask for this informaiton on BBB.  On Motime website, they tried to hide this info and you can't find it on their contact info.  They must know that people will try to make a compliant.

I don't remember reading any text from these guys.  I have sent stop message to 63232 which seems to have worked

I receive a text message from 877-323-2226 and got charged $13.00 on my monthly phone bill.  Once I find out the city from which this text message originated from, I will be in touch with the Attorney General for the province that send me this text message.  I am both a senior and a student living on a very fixed income, and can ill afford to be billed $13.00

My mother just called to tell me of a $13 charge on her cellphone bill.We will get it straightened out and update.
