How funny... I, too, asked them for their licensing info.  They were happy to give it to me.  Fortunately, I'm smart enough to actually RUN the info, and found that not only did that number NOT exist, but the alpha prefix did not pertain to any type of real estate license.  I know people get caught up in this, because my in-laws did -- until my husband and I stepped in and tried to stop it.  That hasn't stopped them from calling, but it has stopped my in-laws from dealing with them.

After my in-laws initially paid $700 to a company, we started questioning them.  My father-in-law got so far as to go to the store to get do the green dot payment out when the clerk advised him to contact the police, which he did.  They've continued to call, and we continue to shut them down.  The last time my father-in-law strung them along and they said the money was on its way -- then called two days later to say they need "one additional fee, which will be refunded....".   Yeah right.  Click -- hung up on them.

This company primarily goes after the elderly and those who cannont smell a scam. They have been after my parents for the better part of half a year. They were able to get my parents to pay them via moneygram, and attempted to get them to pay via green dot as well. My folks paid a little over 1,000 dollars in the hopes of receiving a large check, ranging from 60,000 to 17,500. This  large check was supposed from the sale of the property my parents own, and have listed to sell. American Land Liquidaters called on 02/16/12, and I spoke with a person identifing themselve as company representive, who asked if I was handling my parents money, etc. The same selling pitch was given to me, in an effort to send them money today. They gave me information on how much money was needed to be sent, and in turn my folks were going to receive this large check on moday vid Fed Ex. I will not be calling back . My parents will no longer fall for this SCAM. Below is a list of names of people who identify themselves as representives of the company, as given to me.
CEO- JASON DAVID LAWTON, ANTHONY LUIS CRUZ, BRUCE WHITE, ERIC JOHNSON, GARY ALBANO. These were the names of a few of the employees my father dealt with. If you want more information I suggest you check itellius com, mugshots.com, peoplefinder.com, etc. These may or may not be the people working for American Land Liquidaters but just beware. The following methods are used to get you to send money to them, Green Dot and Moneygram but not just limited to those two services. You will also recieve the promise of recieving your money in check form by either UPS or Fed-ex approximately 3-5 days after you send them the money. You should know that Green Dot and Moneygram are ways to obtain money from someone and virtually untracable. One thing to look for, is the phone numbers of phone calls made to you. So far it has been by cellular telephone in a name not belonging to the person you are speaking with. I fully expect someone from American Land Liquidaters to counter this comment with a snide remark, as it appears he/she has done in the past based on the comment board.  My suggestion is that if this happens to you, go through a realtor. This will end your worries, and phone calls.

Cheri, I had the same scenario to happen to me and was unsuccessful trying to get my money back.

While checking out WWLM and ALL on the internet I found testimonies of people with similar situations.  These two companies did to them what they did to us. I also believe that these two companies are working together to SCAM honest people out of their money.

I decided to pray for them, that they may be convicted and want to have a do right mind.

GOD BLESS YOU!

I had a phone call from Lee Johnson, 727.831.4830, about 5 lots I have in Sunland Estates in El Paso. He started the conversation by saying he had a buyer for the lot we had there and the buyer was willing to pay $3000. I then told him I had 5 lots and he checked and informed me that the buyer would be happy to buy all 5 lots for a total of $17,249.00!!!! Don't know where he went to school.

He said he was with ResaleEez, 727.831.4830, and they had been in business for 7 years and I was welcome to check them online. They do have a web site (http://resaleeez.com/1.html).  I did try to find reviews on the company but the only thing I could find (http://www.domain-name-registered.com) was where the domain name had been registered on 2/5/11.

He wanted my checking account number so he could deposit $17,249.00!!!! to my checking account. I finally asked if there was an upfront fee and he told me of course there had to be a fee to be sure all the title work was taken care of properly.

I would beware of ResaleEez - 727.831.4830 (Metro PCS) or 727.260.7838 (landline) if you receive a call. Both of these phone numbers are based in the Clearwater, Fl area & I did a search online to get this info.

I'm with Snoopy C - hopefully these lots will be worth something some day but probably not in my and probably not my children's lifetimes (but I do have 14, 6 & 8 yo grandchildren so maybe they can realize something from these lots!). I have been advised to get a Special Warranty Deed on these lots to avoid problems with my estate.

Again, beware of ResaleEez - 727.831.4830 (Metro PCS) or 727.260.7838 (landline).

PLEASE, PLEASE, DON'T SEND MONEY OR GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBERS OR CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER TO ANYONE for them to sell anything for you. If they are on the up and up, they will list the property for you for free and you will receive your money when the property has sold - they do not need this information to list the property. Normally, you will not receive a call out of the blue from someone offering to buy your property so BEWARE of these type of calls.

In respond to "Too Trusting" I too fell into their trap.  I knew that property next to mine in Nevada had been sold within the past year and water & power has been brought in for them (probably at an unrealistic price) so when Kathy at American Land Liquidators in Largo, FL called me with the offer & 'promise' that there were active purchasers were interest (one had an offer in place).  I also was told that they needed a deposit to cover the deed, etc. and that all taxes and closing costs would be paid by the buyer and that my $1,000.00 would come back to me when the final papers were signed and the deal was closed and recorded.  I thought about it for quite some time, asked several people whose opinion I value and verified with BBB in FL that this Co. was above board and legal.  I gave them the $ they requested and never heard another word from them.  I called and called only to get a "please leave a message" or "i don't intend on calling you back" as I refer to it.   It's now August, 2011 & I've not seen a cent nor have I spoken to anyone claiming to work there.  My next step is to file my complaint with the BBB in FL and see if that will rattle their cage.  I'll keep you all posted if I have any luck & until then my thoughts & prayers are with all of you that were taken in as I was.  My monthly income is $805.00 so the $1,000.00 they 'stole' from me, in my opinion is a sin.  They took food out of our mouths as well as $ for our power bill (clothes off of my granddaughters back) I hope they are enjoying their ill-gotten gains and burn in Haydes for what they have done to all of us that were tricked into their "SCAM" because that is EXACTLY what they hide behind while pretending to be an honest company!

Telemarketer
I thought I was too smart to get scamed!  Was I ever wrong.  These scammers at American Land Liquidators are really clever.  I got the same kind of call.  We have a buyer (developer) who would like to make an offer on your land, etc.  Yes, we bit and it cost us $695.00 for nothing, there was no buyer.  I am going to file a complaint with every agency I can think of.  These guys need to be put out of business.  I tried to get it refunded and even finally found the owner, Jason Rodreques and he could have cared less if we were lied to.  Nope he would not refund the money.  So beware people don't fall for their story and don't believe anything they say.  I have filed with the BBB and am in the process of fileing with the Florida Attorney General and then I am going to contact the FBI.  Everyone who has been scammed should do the same.  Maybe if enough people file complaints somebody will do something about them.  They just make me sick!

Hey folks,

I write for the St. Pete Times, and am working on a story about this phenomenon. American Land Liquidators is apparently based in Largo, FL; not far from St. Pete. If you have been contacted by this company, or a similar company in the area, and think you were the victim of a scam, please call me at 727-445-4167.

Thanks much,

Will Hobson

That posting by Mrs. Webber looks suspiciously similar to one posted by a John Beaver on another "Who Called Me" web site that gushes about what a great job they did selling land IN Texas. At that site there were comments that this company is a hard sell organization that wants your credit card number and produces nothing for you. Recommendation is to check the Better Business Bureau file because according to what was posted it is nothing but a lot of grief! I was a real estate broker for 25 years and I can tell you a reputable broker does not ask for money up front to sell your property. If you answer this telemarketer's calls, ask them for their real estate license number in the state you live in. If they are not licensed to act as your agent to sell your property in your state, they  are breaking the law. BEWARE!

They bundle lots, that's what that company does. But your right trying to resell
those lots individually is an excercise in futility. Sounds like a lot of tee baggers
on this site however getting suport from others who haven't a clue about raw land
and how it gets sold in today's marketplace. I checked out that company and they
have a higher BBB rating than McDonald's !  Go figure..

The SAME thing happened to me 2 days ago as well.  They offered me "twice" what I paid for the land and was very addament that I 'stay on the line and close the deal' by authorizing 'processing fees'.   I told them to e-mail me a contract to review with my lawyer and call me back yesterday at 11:30 and never got an e-mail, or call.  CON-ARTIST for sure
