They text me saying I won a $100 gift card for a 3.95 shipping fee I would receive it in 3 to 5 business days nothing ever came I'm glad I gave them only a pre paid debit card with only $10.00 on it how are these people not in jail yet with all the scams they are pulling! I hope they get busted soon! This is not right! Hope they burn in hell!

I got the same text message saying that i got a $100 certificate to best buy or walmart. Then also a $25 food certificate to a restaurant. I called and they wanted a credit card or debit card to charge $3.95 shipping charge.  NO THANKS, I would like to keep the money I do have.

Same $100 Target/$500 groceries. But $1.95 shipping and handling requires a credit card. I told the person that this was a fraud. He hung up. He said his name is Mark Lopez, or so he claimed.

Hi I don't know anything about that stupid gift certificate scam but maybe you should just hang up or delete it and not take the advice of this equally stupid website and send harrassing messages as I AM GAIL MARIE KERN, A REAL PERSON AND NOT A COMPANY! that is my phone# and email address and I have nothing to do with that company but will pursue legal action againt this website, if you don't get a clue and take my information down!

I just got a text. I called back and barely could understand his answers. Told him I'm not paying $1.95 for shipping something you say is free. I don't give out my info. He said I could use a prepaid card. I said no thanks and hung up. Glad you started a blog for this number. Something told me to investigate.

Got a spam text on my Verizon cell phone from 848-459-3822 advertising 877-357-9520 to claim a $100 reward certificate. These people should be boiled alive in oil. "Bailey Savers" and the call is routed to somewhere over seas when you call 877-327-9520. They are fraudulent telling people that they completed a survey from their company. That is an outright lie, I do not complete surveys and I do NOT give out my mobile number.

YOU ARE committing fraud among other things. First off I did NOT ever complete any online survey. If I had done so I would have NEVER reveled my cellular phone number. That is why I have a Google Voice number. No one has my cellular number. Therefore you are a liar. It is illegal in the United States to text/phone a mobile phone for advertising without permission. *I* have to pay for those text messages. You are a thief and a spammer. You should be forced to pay for every uninvited text message and you should be fined and imprisoned.

I got a txt yesterday from 908-294-0535 saying I got a $100 gift certificate and to call 877-327-9520.  I called to tell them to remove my cell number immediately!!!  They hung up.  I hope everyone who receives one of these calls will report these people and NEVER give them bank or credit card info.  They are scam artists.  Let's put them out of business!

I did not reply at all.  Reluctant to acknowledge a human at this end of MY number!!  A text message on my phone is highly unusual.

I don't want these people calling.  If I did in fact win something it should not cost me a dime.

I called as I had taken a survey with local grocery store with prize for that amount. They said I'd won $100 gift card & $500 grocery card....then said I'd have to pay $1.95 S&H.....scam. I told them a legit prize would not require money & they hung up.

How can a person stop them from texting?  I too am on on the national Do Not Call list.
