Stop calling my cell!! Really annoying!

I've had any number of calls from this number and have never answered or called them back (why would I?). Each voice mail says what sounds like "BAR!" - yes, shouted. Quite similar to the noise you'd make if you fell out out a window about 3 stories up. Lol.

Ya gotta wonder what makes these people tick.

Unsolicited robo-call to my cellphone. Hung up as didn't want to waste daytime minutes finding out who it was.

I have now had 3 phone calls from this number 877-329-7367.  Today I called and asked who it was that was calling?  They said they were looking for "xxxx"  I said I could maybe get a message to them, but would they tell me what the call was about?  They said "No, It is a financial matter and we can't tell you because of the Privacy Act!"

I called them back and they are:
NCO financial: a collection agency, they will ask you to prove who you are by giving them your address and other personal info, which nobody should do.
These guys must be serious scammers as there is even a consumer website to fight them:

got a call I p/u they said it was "an urgent matter" I hunged up and called back,an agent answered "S.C.L. finances"... I  looked them up but could not find any info
So this is an "urgent matter" from a unlisted company called SCL finances.

no message but phone said voicemail.  we are on do not call list
