This company claims to be Sandals Reservations.  The phone number at the bottom of the fax to have your number removed from further promotions says "you have reached a number that is not in service".  Isn't that convenient?  They will not provide a physical address ("for security reasons").

This is a fraud!  A legitmate company would happily provide information.

They provide a voice number, this makes it so convenient to program your fax machine to send the junk back to the VOICE number, they always answer.  Fax early and often!

Scam! Just received another scam Junk fax for $199 to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta including airfare and was given a website. After asking several questions we were hung up on. Here are several of the Toll Free phone numbers they switch on each junk fax scam to:

(866) 504-1136
(866) 704-5938
(877) 654-9354
(877) 331-0676

(866) 967-2809 <<<<<<<- this is the scammers "website" at: www.mbtth.com they are using on the web.  We you call all the numbers you will see that they are being answered by the same individuals daily.

TRY THIS:  Send back the junk fax (hit redial) to each Toll Free number on the junk faxes and listen for them to pick-up.  It is really funny to hear the same person voice pick-up on the various junk fax scam toll free numbers!!!!  :-)

Also, they are using a internet service to make these junk faxes from like www.ringcentral.com

We've been receiving these "Cancun Vacation Faxes" for years. I wrote a letter to the FCC and included a pile of these "From HR Department" faxes. They eventually responded back to me and created a file, but the faxes keep coming. Maybe if more people wrote the FCC a letter and sent a pile of these faxes they'd actually do something.

It seems to me that all of these government agencies are created simply to collect fees from the law abiding but do absolutely nothing to protect us from outlaws. I guess it it would cause them to expend some of the money they've taken from us!

If you really did that then you're a blithering idiot. Or you are one of the crooks running this scam and trying to trick people into calling that number, because all it does is confirm your fax number so you will get even more junk.

With morons like this, no wonder scams never go away.

The best way to get rid of these scumbags is to file FCC complaints.  The FCC isn't going to do anything about the complaints if only a few people file them, but the more people that file complaints the better the chances of the FCC fining and shutting these people down.

fax the junk back to the VOICE number the crooks have conveniently provided on the illegal spam fax. They will answer every time. Since it's a voice number the fax machine will get an error, so program it to re-try the maximum number of times. It reduces the profits of their illegal enterprise and ties up their lines. Low effort on our part, fax machine does the work.

For what it's worth you can file a complaint with the FCC but they have been doing this for years and nobody shuts them down. If everybody faxed this junk back to them they would go away.

The best thing you can do is to just recycle the paper they just cost you.

That said, the next best thing you can do is to register for as many sales sites with their info, sign up for all the publications sent to these addresses:
president@sandosvacations.com
administrator@sandosvacations.com
postmaster@sandosvacations.com
customerservice@sandosvacations.com
sandosvacations@sandosvacations.com

and make sure to use this for your address:
Private, Registration SANDOSVACATIONS.COM@domainsbyproxy.com
Domains by Proxy, Inc.
DomainsByProxy.com
15111 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353
Scottsdale, Arizona 85260
United States
(480) 624-2599 Fax -- (480) 624-2598

Domains by proxy registered them and are anonymizing them, so they would be the appropriate recipient.

You should fax every new fax you get from Sandos directly to domains by proxy at the above #, with a note that they need to unregister the domain due to illegal activity (spamfaxing)

If you want to get quick and dirty,
just fax 5 pages of black construction paper to Sandos every time you get one of their faxes.
(Please do not send it to "domains by proxy", they might be unaware of their implication in this activity.)

I got the "Memo / To: All Employees / From: H.R. Dept. / Re: Employee Travel Program / Reply To: Booking and Reservations at 1-877-331-0676" FAX today.  I've seen this same FAX before, but destroyed it before getting it again, so I can't confirm how identical the form is to previous incarnations.  I called their voice number repeatedly in an effort to get them to identify themselves or reveal how they ever acquired my home telephone number (and mistook it for a FAX number).  I was hung-up on several times and given a wild run-around when I asked for a supervisor or general manager.  I finally got someone on the phone who identified the company as, "Holiday Reservations" and he advised me to register my FAX number at "the do-not-fax web-site".  As we all know, there is no such entity as a "do-not-fax web-site", so it was yet another lie, which leads me to believe their business name is not actually, "Holiday Reservations".

In any event, I have filed a formal FCC complaint and I request that every one of you do exactly the same thing EVERY TIME you get a FAX like this at:

http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

When there is sufficient volume of qualified complains, the FCC can be provoked to initiate punitive action against these people.
