Called twice today, no message.  I am so sick of this. I need a telephone for personal business, and that's why I pay for it.  It should be against the law to auto-dial anonymously and harass innocent people in their homes.

Same phone number was used to solicit votes here on the west coast. The number was de-activated after election. It appears from previous posts that this number may be used throughout the U.S. for politcal campagning??

Kelly Emerson was running for Island County Commissioner and her organization was calling our home  twice a week since September.

because if you do pick up, the message will play on and on and on for the
political party and will NOT release until the entire message has played.
If you needed to call 911 because a child was choking in your house,
you'd have to listne to the message first, causing precious seconds to
be lost.  Make them stop!!!

The Do Not Call list excludes charities, companies with whom you have previously done business, and political solicitation.  I'm with you, I wish it would exclude ALL unwanted calls.

I have a new telephone number.   So now everyday at 1:00pm I get a call from 877-331-3388.
I answered it and hear nothing.  Then it disconnects.    I called it back and heard a recording saying this number is not active.

This is very annoying.  Others here say it's from a Republician party.   OK, because of this annoyance, I'll never, ever vote for a Republician candidate.

Fed up of these calls, we are not US citizens and therefore not even allowed to vote so not a registered voter.  Getting these calls at least once a day!

Keep receiving calls, mostly early am.  When I call back it says "this line not active".  How can that be when you just called me?  YIKES  Going to an unlisted number.

Sick and tired of all this; we are registered Democrats, they have no business calling here.  Why is the governments do not call list excluding these?

since my latest call was from Tom Corbett.. I googled his office phone number in Harrisburg.. it's 717-238-4009.  I called to complain and to tell them that up until today Mr Corbett had my vote.. but, due to these harrassing phone calls.. He's lost my vote... also asked for his campaign manager - Brian Nutt - to call me.  Let's see if this bozo calls.

It's sunday afternoon.. just got a call from this number.. Tom Corbett wants my vote... well.. he had it until today... I'm so sick of these pompous a** politicians that think they can invade my privacy with numeous phone calls everyday!!!   I'm not voting for a damn one who called me.  I'm on a do not call list, but evidently they feel they are above the law... we already have too many policitcans that feel that way.. sure don't need any more... TOM CORBETT.. IF YOU READ THIS, YOU JUST LOST MY VOTE!!!!

Amazing...like the Governor of New Jersey is someone who is going to have sway over California voters.

They called this morning and started a campaign talk. My wife didn't wait to hear the end (hung up), but normally (and legally, I am pretty sure) they have to leave a phone number to call back if we want our number to be dropped at the end of the message that she didn't want to listen to. I called back the number on caller ID though, and they said it was a "not active line", which of course is bull%(#$, since it'd just called us. Probably is Meg Whitman: We've contacted them to not call us multiple times, regardless of our political party, politely requested to NOT be called again, and they continue to harass us. Normally, the Democrats stop when asked to, but the Republicans have so much more money and waste it on hiring endless people with minimum wage jobs, employing them to work just under full time so they don't have to provide any benefits, unnecessary calls...like they do with wars and our money with tax breaks for their cronies. They'll continue to harass us...and yet will completely ignore those of us making under 250,000 after/if they're elected. Get ready for more repub-robo-calls...

Political parties are exempt from the laws governin phone solicitations.

It must be a generic phone number that these political parties hire because that number called my house and it was the Democratic Party with a robo-call.  I guess we just have to wait until the election is over.
