aftervid speak...what a joke...glad i had no money on my green dot..

These BUZZARDS started calling us February 1, 2013 from 7 to 15 calls a day.  We would never answer.  Finally on February 5, 2013 I answered in hopes of telling them to stop calling.  The Robo female voice became belligerent with me so I hung up.  3 seconds later my phone rang and on the Caller ID it was showing "my name and phone number".  Based on this tacit I called the FCC and filed a complaint. This is called "ID Spoofing".  I was also advised to register on the Do No Call and to start filing on-line complaints to the DNC and the FCC sites.

By February 20th we had 109 DNC complaints and 75 FCC complaints.

As of February 25th, we have not had any Scam calls to date as of this posting.  I say let's all band together and file the complaints as the calls come in (I did) and let's pluck a few feathers from these VULTURES.  Why let them pick our bones and credit cards dry?

I got a call from them supposedly answered a survey from Walmart told me I would receive email confirmation for the 2.99 charge but never got it.  I called the number to cancel but giving me the run around.

I received a call from this number but did notfollow the directions.  Instead, I googled the number and found that it was flagged as one used in a WalMart/WakaNetwork scam.  Although I have completed some surveys recently,I did Googled WakaNetwork scams and there it was.  I am truly happy that I had the forsight to investigate.  By the way, I never release my card numbers or any other information online or via telephone.

I WAS TOLD I HAD TO REGISTER TO GET A WALMART GIFT CARD. THERE IS NO CANCEL BUTTON ON THE WEBSITE, NO REPRESENTATIVE TO CONTACT.

 These people need to be stopped, what they are doing is wrong. How do they know that I did a survey anyway??

I think if some of us or all of us call the local news station & tell them about this Waka network maybe some bad exposure for them may be good for the rest of us & others who may fall prey to their scammer ways.

When I told her that I do not have a credit card she went straight for the checking account, so I told her I do not have any money in my checking account she hung up on me. She probably sits on her big fat a** allday & collects welfare checks while trying to rip off hard working people.

Said I won $100 gas card + $10 Walmart card + $50 Walka card.

The lady told me that i won a walmart gift card and wanted my credit card number to pay $2.98 for adm. I now find this to be a scam.

2 calls from Sylvia. Same gifts and same poor connection. Instructed to call same 877 number but did not until I check via net.  So glad I did. Also reported to State Consumer Agency and FTC.  Please everyone report to state and FTC to put stop to these types of calls.

called 10/3/2012; claimed to be a savings company; wanted general info like name & address and then wanted credit card info for 2.99 to claim gas coupon, walmart card and promised coupons.  didn't feel comfortable giving personal info for someone that called out of the blue.

they just called me and tried to get me to sign up i googled the fone numbe rand all i saw was scam alerts so i told the lady silvia why am i seeing scam alerts about you so she said whats the error im like wtf so she says the number im like wow what a recording at least if ur gonna try and steal from me make sure your equipment at least is working properly....

I've gotten 2 calls this week at work and the number they gave me was 877-332-1490.  I was told I had done an online survey which I don't do.  I was told I was to receive a total of $160 in gift cards from Walmart, Walkanetwork (whoever they are) and gasoline gift cards.  Never got to the point where I was asked for a credit card number.  The first call I told her I was at work and she was going to let her know when I got logged on to my computer.  I ended up hanging up on her.  Today when she called I kept asking her how she got my phone number since she called on my direct line at work which I've only given to family, certainly never on an online survey.  She ended up hanging up on me this time.  Guess I'm just too suspicious.

Same thing as Kirk's message.  They called to day.  The number that came up on my phone was not an 800 number.  It was 459-121-8344.  They gave me the 877-332-1490 number when I ask how to get back to them after I checked them out.  They hung up eventually.

Do tell. I called your little number because I don't appreciate being made up a fool. I was smart enough to realize I was talking to a machine. Do you feel proud of yourself? Scamming innocent people? Of course you do. Because you have no heart or soul otherwise you would stop this right away. Oh well, its ok, theres a place for people like you.

just got the same call 4591218344 and it said the number or code you have dialed is unavailable try again later . very upset trying to figure out if it is a scam or not . did give them my info lika dummy

I received 2 calls 2 days in a row.  On 25 Aug 2012, I received a call from WAKA.com stating I won a WalMart $200.00 gift card + something else.   She asked me to immediately go to my computer and type in WAKA.COM on the browser.  Instead, I googled the website and it turned out to be a scam. I stayed on the phone and online and started to ask questions, and we were cut off .

  On the morning of the 26th I received another call  from "Mobile Support" phone #  517 441-0010 for a gasoline voucher for $200.00 for use with Chevron, but I had to send them $2.95 for shipping and handling, I started to ask questions such as:  why do I have to pay?  just mail me the voucher.   Before he responded we got cut off.

"Listen!   I'm sending you out just like sheep to a pack of wolfes.  You must be as cautious as snakes and as gentle as doves.  Matthew 10:16     Can you imagine sending these crooks  $2.95 x  1 million people, its lost of money made just in this scam alone.

HAhahahah...u used to be an agent??so u scammed them to..the gift cards came but not the $10 walmart giftcard..its a scam because the $100 GC..will be used in their site....im, IAm an agent an dwe are located at philippines..i want this company down cause they are just fooling people about some survey S***...

Tried to call that customer number over and over again until I got hold of one customer rep. Believe it or not I did not stop hollering until they gave me my refund. System malfunction my behind at least I got them to give back what's mine.

This is a lie, Toni, and you know it! I was told I won a $100 gift card from Walmart. All I have to do is pay 2.99 for shipping. I just checked my account and Waka Network took 45.98 ALSO out of my account. I called customer service to get my money back and she told me she couldn't do it. Load of Bull! Good thing I have a lawyer in my family!!!

They called me and kept repeating the same thing too. They are constanting calling my cell phone its annoying. I almost did the whole process but then I stopped. It didnt add up... The number that has been calling me is 325-121-3444 but its in association with waka as well. Be careful.

I got a call from this number, 877-332-1490 and she wanted my credit card info. I did not give it to her. I figured out it was a scam.

pretty sure i just got burned wakanetwork promised but didn't fill their part of agreement thus far. and probably never will. what a fool, i sould have known better nothing in this world is ever free!

when I try to call, the sound of the answering machine is buzzing....
