I was scammed by them for 600 they was asking for 877 but when I told him that I couldn't come up with it he said they would take the rest off the 5000 they was to send me the next day when I didn't get it he said I had to give 1000 more for insurance then I said I wan't my money back he said I would get it back in the next 5 to 7 days but I didn't then there phone was disconnected. I don't know what to do to get my money back.

everyone that was scammed go to www.complaint.ic3.gov and they will help. they file and investigate all internet crimes and scams. they also file it with all local and federal law enforcement agencies. the more that complain, the more attention this will get and hopefully the longer these thieves will do in jail!

everyone needs to go to www.complaint.ic3.gov to report the scam that this company is doing... they can help solve this

I filed a dispute with GreenDot as well.  I hope this investigation will get an ending result we all want and stop this SOB.

This happened to me. I filled a fraud report at Green Dot. They need to catch these crook in there tracks

I just listened to a call on my voice mail saying I was approved for a $5000 loan and to call them back. After reading all these comments I am so glad I did not call them. I didn't even apply for a loan from this company!

Thanks Claudia.  Now I know too, I just learned the hard way.  I changed my info today.  Just hope that the investigation follows through.

yes it is huge scam
i gave them money one time realized i was screwed when i did not rec loan
mike did call back and ask for additional money,which i did not send
i made clear to him that it has been reported to FBI..............
I called him back again told him i wanted refund,also told him that i will hunt him down like a dog!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the feeling.  I am in the same boat as you.  I fell for the $1000 insurance as well so now I'm out of $1877.  The thing is when I kept asking about the contract he had told me that it's a binding contract and that if I don't get the money I can sue them?  How do we go about that.  Also, when I was questioning him about the contract, he had told me if I'm having doubts about the contract then I shouldn't do it.  But when he said that I actually thought it was legit.  and now I'm down $1877 with no loan.  :(

I can't believe he had the nerve to call you back?!  But good for you.  I can't believe I fell for this.  Besides that I totally got screwed for my money... Now I'm worried about my personal information.  :(

Yeah for sure change all yr info , after he hung up on me he called me back asking dumb questions and because I wouldn't take his crapp he hung up again.... He is mad because he got caught ;)

I got a call this morning saying that their IT people are working on their phones right now and they have a temporary new number for the time being and gave me 1.877.334.5712.  Have you been able to get any money back?

I am in the same boat as you KB.  I think we are both screwed.  I don't know how else to get our money back.  I'm on the phone with greendot, but I've been on hold for 15 minutes now.  I don't think
they will be able to get our money back.

I wish I would've seen these postings before and I feel like a total IDIOT!  I hope they don't do anything with any of our informations for those who faxed them information.  Do you think we should change our accounts and everything?  I can't believe this is happening to a lot of innocent people.

I did the same exact thing!  I did the 877.00 yesterday and then I got a phone call this morning saying that the loan company enforced me to pay the 1000.00 insurance because my score is low and that by doing so they guarantee a larger loan of 7000 instead of 5000 and will wire the money to me in 3-5 hours. He also said to call him back once I receive the funds.  Of course I fell for it and I have not received the funds yet!  I really needed the money and now I'm pretty much in a rut with nothing.  Does anyone know if we can get our money back from the greendot?

So I spoke to Shawn Burke yesterday and I got approved but I won't get my money until I pay them the first five months because of liability, he faxes me all the paper work, later thAt night I googled and seen all the reviews and I told myself I'm not going to do this... Next morning he calls me telling me they changed their number due to main thence reasons but I want to give u my new number so u can fax over ur paperwork, I told him I wasn't interested and newbrook has horrible reviews for taking people's money and I'm not going to fall for it so he hung up in my face!! So professional!
