got the same call. and im totally annoyed! they asked for my name and i said yes and they immediately hung up. they asked in spanish but i knew who they were asking for, me.

I have gotten a call from this number six times a day for the last week. I looked it up online, so I haven't answered. Guess it doesn't matter if you answer or not, they still will call and call. Ridiculous and pointless. It needs to stop.

The same has been hammining to me for like 2 weeks now. I answered and they said my name and i said yas and they started talking about wanting me to sell porn. They just called and i told them they had the wronge number and i told them to stop calling my number the man said no we will not and i hung up.

They've called me 4 times, and as soon as I answer they hang up.  I called the number back and a voicemail message says "Thank you for calling Consolidated".  Consolidated what, I don't know.

I also got this call today. I didn't answer it, no voicemail was left. Called number back and it is an answering machine stating thank you for calling consolidated. And to leave a message. I didnt leave one either.

Just called home phone # & asked for spouse by his nickname, which isn't generally published.  Man hung up immediately.  A few quick internet searches via reverse toll free # directories found nothing.

I have gotten phone calls from this business "Consolidated Opportunities" several times a day for the past month. I have no idea how they got my number. I didn't pick up the first couple of times they called, but then I called back with a blocked number and they answered the phone and hung up immediately! I am not happy and I want these phone calls to stop!!!

They Called and I answered they said hello may I please speak to Nicole I said yes that's me they said hello Nicole I am calling on behalf of then started laughing and hung up!

Same.  Calls twice a day, once in the morning, once in the evening.  If I'm home and pick up the phone, nobody is there.  If I call back, I either get nothing or it rings and rings.  Kinda spooky.

They are Consolidated Opportunities....www.consolidatedopps.com.  Call them at 1-866-940-3070 and DEMAND they take your phone number OUT of their system. Then GIVE them your phone number. If you continue to get calls and you recognize the number when you answer, tell them you are going to report them to the (FTC) Federal Trade Commission.  Every time you report their contact to you they receive a $500.00 fine.  That's stop this nonsense.

I received a call from this number asking for someone named "Christopher," and when I told them they had the wrong number, they hung up. I have received many other calls since that time, and the same. I tried to call back and got the answering machine for "Consolidated".

I got the same call, and when I called back it said that I had reached Consolidating just like you. I then left my name and number requesting to be removed from their list.  We will see what happens!

Got a call from this number on 17 Feb 09 at 4:12pm CST.
Didn't recognize the number so returned the call.
After several rings, got the "Consolidated" message.
Someone is phishing, it seems.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Usually nobody is there if I answer.  Twice they've asked for Virginia.  I said 'wrong number'...yet have gotten more calls.  I have called back and get the recording and I did leave a message saying please stop calling.  Time will tell.  

What good does it do to call us when we're so irritated by them to ever listen to them if they WERE selling something ?

When I asked the phone at 9:01, on 2/16/09, the man at the other end of the phone asked, If Allen was there, and I said no, how this person got my number and called me, is something that I can not understand. Whoever this is the legal system needs to put a end to it. I read all of the issues here and it seems that some idiot has his hands on something that he is not suppose to have or maybe the government is checking up on us. WATCH YOUR BACK PEOPLE

I constantly get a missed call from this number, they do not respond when I say hello, and when I call back, it says "thank you for calling Consolidating."  Then it asks for my name and number.  I haven't left them any messages.

Switched phone numbers and within 10 minutes I get a call from 877-335-7898. NO ONE has this number yet. What the F-ck?

I called the 877-335-7898 number tonight after returning home late and seeing it on my caller ID.  A recorded message answered, "Consolidated.  Please call back during regular business hours."  The reason I'm concerned about this number is because I've gotten one incoming call every day the last four days (four calls) that rings three or four times and then stops, leaving no caller ID.  Two of those times when I picked up the phone to answer the call (each time after two or three rings) all I hear is silence.  I wouldn't give as much attention to incoming calls except that I've been waiting for a call from one of my children that I consider very important.  Telemarketers and collection agencies usually have specialized systems that dial one number after another.  When you answer the phone, the dialer signals available sales/collection agencies who'll try to connect with you to pitch their crap or verbally abuse you over an alleged debt.  If they're all busy, and no one at that end acts to connect (telephonically) with you right away, the system terminates your call, leaving you up in the air as to who is calling you.  Who is "Consolidated?"  I'll call 'em back tomorrow and find.  Non-profit charitable entities [organized under 501(c)(3)] aren't subject to do not call lists.  Simply telling the person you're speaking with to refrain from all further calls is fruitless.  Same is true if it's a collection agency.  You must get the name and address of the organization and sent them a letter, certified return-receipt, with a copy to the appropriate regulatory agency.  For collection agencies, cite provisions of the Fair Credit Act and copy FTC and Consumer Affairs Division of your state attorney general's office.  If it's a non-profit, copy Secretary of State and Attorney General in your own state.

I had the same EXACT call as you. Three times and I told him I was on a do not call list and he said his last word real quick everytime and hung up. They still continue to call me every single day and hang up on me. It is sooooo annoying!!!

I received a call from this number as well but I picked it up and it was a guy "steve" or some common name I cant remember but he asked for me by name and I was wondering how he knew my name and cell, then he went on about a home based business and that I filled out a survey but I dont ever use my main cell I have a decoy cell that I always use so I dont know how they really got my true number and he told me that I must have forgotten taking a survey and he mentioned North American....Loan Agency (not sure about the last 2 words) and another is Moneytree.com....so I told him to just remove my number from the call llist so he said his last words super quick and hung up....so Im hoping that solves that problem.

If you call a toll free number from a pay phone it cost them about $0.30 for each call.  If everybody would call the toll free number from a pay phone several times a day their cost of business would increase - perhaps enough that they would go out of business  When calling the toll free number you just have to make sure the call connects.  You don't have to have a conversation.  Once the call connects, even if it?s just for a second, they get charged the $0.30
