We had a $70ish charge taken from our checking account.  I figured out what it was about from googling the number.  Apparently the company is Webhostservicesonline.com.

We bank with Wachovia.  I can go in and sign an affidavit stating we did not authorize this charge and the bank will remove the charge.  I hope they will not allow further charges from this company!

My question is - how did they get my debit card / checking account information?!

A little information that will assist you in your pursuits against I earn llc.

The real owner and the one who is profiting off conducting these erroneous charges is a gentleman named Jerry O Bohn. He purchased the portfolio of credit cards a few months ago.  His assistants are Wyatt Johnson and David Baker, but they are mere patsies who put themselves in jeopardy by allowing him to use their name instead of his.  Reason being, Jerry got his merchant accounts shut down and was put on the Terminated Merchants and he cannot get a merchant account to process the charges. Jerry O Bohn lives in Wellington, FL and the office is located at 5702 Lake Worth Blvd, Suite 8-10, Greenacres, FL 33464.  You can find out more information by googling Jerry O Bohn.  He is 41 years old and has no business ethics. His phone number is 561-644-3743.   All the websites you list at the bottom of your post are from companies that Jerry either owns, or previously owned.

I called Web Host Services immediately the 2nd time I saw $92.47 posted. The first time I didn't know till too late! I got a cancellation and confirmation # and told it would be no more....Few days ago I received another tooth whitener kit. When I called back they said it was cancelled with NOTHING to worry about! I asked if sooo many innocent people around the country had thousands of dollars stolen, why can't this NOW be stopped? This Guy had the nerve to say "It's a good product & NOBODY IS STEALING ANYTHING FROM ANYONE!" The audacity!!! Something should be done..

I received an email also.  I called and cancelled my card with the bank and reported them to our fraud department.  I also emailed the company to let them know what I had done.  I actually received an email response with a cancellation number that said they were processing my refund.  I'll be checking my bank statement to make sure.  Not sure if the bank had been in contact with them yet, but just the fact that I invoked their name may have made a difference.  The email also said that I had signed up with their Health and Beauty Program for a trial period that was dated the day of the receipt that they emailed me which I never did.  Don't know where it's coming from.  I still think it's an aftermath of the Dazzlewhite/Smilebrite deal that I thought I had succeeded in canceling, but they denied it.  Best of luck getting yours straightened out.

This sounds similar to my experience today.  I was billed $94 - supposedly for vitamens (even though the emailed purchase receipt had no shipping address listed).  Your experience when calling mirrors mine.  The person could not provide much assistance to explain the charge or how it occurred and refused to transfer me to a manager.  I even asked to speak to the lady I heard in the background and he refused.  My debit/credit card now has a block on it, but how they got it in the first place is beyond me.

I called after I saw charges on my Mastercard and knowing full well that I did not order anything through "webhosting". When I called 8773377941 , the individual that I spoke with acted like a complete jerk advising me that if I interrupted him again that he would be "forced" to hang-up on me. He did advise me that he cancelled my account and provided a confirmation number. I called again and spoke with someone else and apparently the little twerp did not do as he said he would, so I second person I spoke with processed the refund.

On 1/29/2010 my debit visa card was charge $92.31.  Why isn't this a red flag to the banks.  There is no invoice #, no description etc.  Someone needs to be watching out for us.

It has happened to myself.  Go to your bank and turn them in as a fraudulent company. Ask your bank for reimbursement as this was an unauthorized use of my debit. If everyone does this, the banks will catch on.  I am hoping there is a potential class action suit brought on this fraudulent company.

They got me for $69.97.  I filed a complaint with the BBB of Utah.  Here is the company info if you need it:

Web Host Services LLC
1530 N. Technology Way
Orem, UT 84097

They are not BBB accredited and the BBB shows no complaints against them.  I find that hard to believe.  Here is the link to their BBB profile if you wish to take a look:

The same thing just happened to my credit card in Arkansas.  This company and my credit card company will be in trouble because they let the charge go through when they didn't even have the right billing address.  Has anybody gotten any relief?

I got no call, they charged my credit card and sent an email for $85.26. Thankfully credit card companies are helpful. How are they getting your information? My computer is virus scanned every day. I too called the number and got a leave a message routine.  Too bad people cannot use this energy for something helpful to society instead of such destructive behavior.

I too was scammed by this GOOGLE Profit.  This is likely a continuing problem with this company which takes your money.  They also sold my e-mail to a bunch of companies.  I used to have NO SPAM.  Now I get 50-60 SPAMS a day.  It really sucks.  Do not sign up for anything with Google profit.  They are in no way connected with Google.  I got the e-mail from Wyatt Johnson with WebHostSErvicesonline.com.  Don't fall for the scam.

Like everyone else has said, your best bet for anyone having this unfortunate issue occur to them is to deal directly with your bank. I have been trying to fight back and forth with the fraud company and they are just a bunch of filthy pricks. They messed with the wrong person. I spoke with a Thomas who repeatedly told me that "it was in the agreement when I signed up for the account." He would say this regardless of me telling him that I had not signed up for ANYTHING. I plan on driving out to Utah this weekend and seeing how the company feels about someone actually showing up on their door step (if the address is legitimate on their website). I also had some stuff pulled to see who owns the website and the company is using a subcompany to block the information that people have to submit in order to obtain domains and what not. This is a scam that will be stopped. In the mean time, people just need to watch what they do with their credit/debit cards. I know I will be watching mine more closely. I'll post an update when I find out more. But, for now, the only easy day was yesterday. Hooyah!

$99 was taken from my account using my debit card number.   I did get to talk to a person (thinking this was customer service of a real business) when I called to clear it up, but they told me they refused to issue a refund saying it was a legitimate charge since they had entered all my correct info and the person doing this had clicked that they agreed to the terms and conditions.  What's the best advice to get justice on this?  I need every penny I make.
