This number: (877)-342-0263 has been calling me up to 5-15 times a day. And when I say 5-15 times a day is not an exaggeration in the slightest. Someone please put a stop these f****rs.

Over the last three months this number calls everyday around 6 PM to 7 PM. I've tried to pick the phone up but no answer...stop the bleeding.

Just get caller ID and set your voice mail to kick in after five rings. When you see an 800-866-877 number, don't answer

Yesterday, early evening, I got a call, fumbled the phone as I picked it up, so it got hungup by accident. Thinking if it was from friends/family they would call right back, but no. So I *69 the call...877-342-0263...now today at 5:45 AM !!! the phone woke me up, which I did not answer...guess what?...I guess it was a revenge call because I "hungup" on them.

They were calling me constantly from a different number (877-351-1654), so I blocked it. Now I am getting calls from them from this number. Since you guys have said that asking them to stop calling doesn't work, I guess I'll block this number, too. And the next one they'll call with...

I have asked them not to call me and they said it would take 30 days for the calls to stop. Three months later I still get these call. I hate to change banks but that looks like the only thing we can do folks.

Do Not Call doesn't apply if you have a recent business dealing with an organization. So if you have an account it won't apply.
And much like you... another bank is starting to sound really good.

If you have been receiving phone calls related to Wachovia and/or Wells Fargo, you can try to opt out of being contacted by any marketing services by using this link:
https://www.wachovia.com/formswachovia/request?action=privacy_opt_out
Don't know if it will really work or not (I just completed it myself) but fingers crossed!

This number has been calling me for weeks now, several times a day and even on Sunday night. Very old, at least I can see who's calling and not bother to answer.
Gracie 2010-10-19 02:43:25 Unknown
This number called today at 4:08pm and, of course, left no message.

This number called again Oct. 8th at 4:14pm and left no message.

This number called 2:13pm today. The caller ID only said Incoming Call so I used *69 to find the number. They left no message. This is twice within a week ... so far.

Does my long-standing Federal "Do Not Call" listing not work for these folks from Wells Fargo & Wachovia? Or have they found some little exception in the law?
I may just have to move my several accounts to a different bank, or - better yet - to a credit union . . .
Gracie 2010-10-02 15:25:19 Unknown
Yep, this number called at 11:08am this morning and left no message. Thanks, Jon, for letting us know who this caller is. I have had the same bank account through one bank name change and now 3 bank mergers. I have not experienced such phone harassment as I am experiencing with Wells Fargo. They are not even upstanding enough to show their name on the caller ID.

Wells Fargo "Wachovia" about new promotions for my accounts. :S
Mike 2010-09-24 13:41:57 Telemarketer
"I'm calling on behalf of Wachovia..." Erm yeah, thanks a lot a***ipe. For the last 4 days I've gotten these calls for another person in my household... and the one time he did talk to them on the first day, he politely turned down their offer and asked them not to call back.
Each day they call... each day I inform them we've already heard the offer and turned it down. Each day they reply with, "Oh, okay I'm very sorry I'll make a note and have a nice day."
I don't expect them to stop calling anytime soon... these people are paid to call everyone on the list and harass them until they give in and agree to whatever service they're pandering. If this goes on much longer we're switching banks. I encourage everyone else affected to do the same... then maybe Wachovia will stop hiring people to harass what few customers they have left.

Thanks , Jon
I wondered who this clown company was ...
I,ve banked with With Wachovia for years , but ever since the wells fargo buyout , I have received tons of junk mail from WF .
I guess next trip to the bank I'll have to simply explain in person , that if it doesn't Stop I'm outta there .

I received a call from 877 342 0263. Of course, because the person/company that called left no message, I really had no idea of who called. So I called back to hassle the caller, the way in which they decided to hassle me. But a recording answered. It was Wells Fargo. The recording indicated that if I wanted to be removed from their marketing calls, to plug in my number and so and so forth...which I did. The recording said it would take 5 business days to record my preference to not be bothered and 30 days for the calls to completely stop. I AM NOT KIDDING
What is amazing is that Wells Fargo prefers to think that I would want them to be calling me about marketing garbage and then have me explicitly go through the procedures to remove myself. Because I would think it should be the other way around. It is kind of like, "Hey...I am going to dump a wheelbarrow of cow manure on your front porch daily until you formally tell me to stop doing it. And it may take 30 days to fully process your request."
