repeated calls on caller I.D.

Wachovia trying to sell you some worthless AD&D insurance.

Thank you for explaining this sham and shameful practice.

Have received several calls from this number asking to speak with my husband.  I explain that I am his wife and that he is not available.  I ask if they would tell me what the call is regarding and if they want to leave a message.  They never do, saying they will call back later.  Yeah for the internet that I could type their number in and find out what this is about.  Now I can give my busy husband the information he needs and he can decide if he wants to speak with them.  And here is a big wake up call for Wells Fargo/Wachovia...we are closing our accounts with you.  If enough people do this, perhaps the bank will get the message we do not appreciate this type of tactics and telemarketers calling our homes.  It's all about the dollar...isn't it.  Perhaps they need to lean more toward customer service and less toward selling our information to people we do not know.

Just called the number and the recorded message indicates that the call was from Wells Fargo/Wachovia.  It's a sales telemarketer.  Further, if you wish to have your number removed from their "marketing efforts"...they will give you dialing directions...hope this helps.  It does take up to 30 days to complete.

They don't leave messages.  Just call several times a week.  What a pain!!

get several calls a week from them, consistently.  I never answer. They hang up on the machine.  I finally called that number back and got a recording and pressed some number to be removed from their list. That was a couple of days ago and I just got another call from them. The recording said it might take 30 days to be removed. We'll see if it works.

Called my home as "out of area", and left no message. Added number to "call Blocker".

Would recommend a personall owned call blocker for all homes. Telemarketers can not circumvent them, also, there is no recurring monthly charge since you own the unit. Call blockers cut annoying repeat calls to zero.

I got this call and they asked for me by my full name.
I did not answer them.
I've been also receiving letters about the Insurance which I ignore.

Call your local wachovia branch mananger - or stop by and give them hell for giving out your information. OH- they love this, ask for the BRANCH MANAGERS number at home, so YOU can call him at 8 pm, at his house, when he says no, then ask him why he gave out YOUR phone number!
