The reason no one is there I have found is because the service is voice activated, so if you answer, the person comes on the line. I would just report them. This number is some kind of Children's cancer fund, they are also the Breast Cancer society and a whole list of others. They will call simultaneously throughout the day and if you make the mistake of picking up, they badger you for a donation- I made this mistake yesterday and pledged 40- the minimum by mail just to get them to stop calling, and supposedly they do not take credit card donations over the phone, but the woman tried to get me to do that.  I told them to mail me a card, but she insisted that I speak to another person who would record that I said I would send the money when they want it. They also basically threatened that if I did not send my donation within their timeframe that they would continue calling, so basically I am not going to donate to this organization as I have seen many complaints of them on the internet that they are not legit.

I used to work for this company. if you have bad credit or trying to settle debt (i assume you have bad credit then) there is almost nothing much worse that can be done to your credit. they are located in a high rise near the beach in ft. lauderdale on us1. all customers are allowed to go to the building and take a tour and meet with company workers face to face. I also saved 52% on all my cc debts and a few medical bills. so i know this works

You should never use a debt settlement company.  As you see from the above comments, many consumers pay money to these companies who steal the money or they go out of business.  Then the consumer is left still owing the creditors and losing all the money they paid to these dubious companies.

Even if a debt settlement company does as they promise, it is still not in the consumer's best interest to use these companies.  They only get the same 50% settlement that someone can get for themselves.  However most of the debt settlement companies charge a 15% fee which means the consumer ends up paying close to 2/3s (65%) of the amount of the account.   If someone is afraid to speak to the collectors they should hire a consumer attorney to settle the debt like I did.   My attorney who charged $100.00 per hour only billed for 2 hours to settle my $10,000 account.  The debt settlement companies that I called charge 15% which would be a $1,500 charge just to make some phone calls.  Not to mention my atty got me a much better settlement then the debt settlement company could ever get and I know I got the proper releases.

I too have gotten scammed by these people.  I've had to go to court because of these people, had a judgement in small claims court.  Got letter from William Ofshlag Automated Debt Relief Director stating my refund would only be $2.69.  Far cry from the monies I've already paid them.  They also claim to have a lawyer to represent you but only if the debt is more than $25,000.00.  So now I sit here with a judgment because they would not correct the error they had with my banks.  Go to this website to help you out.

I thought I already posted to this but I will again. I am with you Bill, and I pay almost $600 a month.. I have paid since OCT 2009 and my balance is $700. They take all the fees first. I talk to them on a weekly basis. They get nothing done, I am always asking them to fix mistakes and frankly could do their job better. Dont know why I trusted them to. I have lost over $3000 and can't even cancel because they have no contact numbers. If you are already a client you should know that all your calls go to legal (FBL associates) or ESP (the software that sends out the letters) I have two summons know and have to pay to file responses. They want more money from me up front to settle with them so I dont go to court. Figures. Cant get my money back because fees are not refundable and they took their fees first. They said the BBB is stupid. That was their mistake. They have strong accents, are rude and the phone messages never say the name of the company. Letters never have letterhead. The reps give you misleading info and promises. When I complained they called me a complainer. Please report to BBB. They have an F rating. Please report to the FDC and check out "reduce my debt guy" on google. He has done the most homework on them. Their rating system is fake. They stole the graphics on their website from other companies. They are damn good. Settle your own debts. You can do it, just be patient and organized. I have been doing their work for them so I know I can do it now. Out of all the complaint websites about them, the only ones who have anything good to say are those who work for them or those who have not realized they have been taken.

My thing is, in this day and age with identity theft, fraud, and other scams, no one in their right mind wants to provide his or her information either personal or financial to someone over the phone. To have these kinds of aggressive tactics makes the average person leary that the business is legitimate. If they were so legitimate, they would have an ad campaign or something of that nature to attract business, not to call people up to 10 times a day to harass them then immediately ask all types of personal information. This goes against what everyone tells people to be aware of these days with so many people out there trying to take advantage of people. I have gotten all kinds of fraudulent calls of this same kind of approach, and it was found that there is some kind of scam, though no one seems to be sure what the angle is. For instance, I had been getting calls for months that were wrong numbers of people asking if I was Michelle, Nancy, etc., Then finally, I began getting the calls and the person said they were looking for Michelle somebody because a law office supposedly had a file that needed my attention. It is these kinds of situations that makes people paranoid because these individuals are trying to very craftily found out the names and personal information of individuals that they have run across somewhere over the internet or in the mail or something. In order to steal the person's credit, they need more personal information. So would a person want to do business with an organization that only agressively pursues people over the phone in this way and when people say to stop calling, they just call from a different number. That is not a legitimate way of conducting business. period.

Please reduce my debt is a first class scam. I just logged into the company that was supposed to be receiving my monthly payment of 384.00 since August of 2009. Since no payments were made to my creditors out of this fund, and the balance in this fund was 21.16, where did the rest of the money go. It went into the pockets of Please Reduce my Debt. Enough said?

I went through their training it was a joke, talk about a bunch of ego, and I mean ego maniacs, why would you have to wear a tie to speak to people on the phone. The people that run this place make all the money, yes if you stay in this program for 2 years u my end up with some of your debt reduced but your credit score will drop into the toilet and they operate on breakage so many people drop out of this program and they get their money from anybody that fails. Look who they are trying to help people that could not keep their finances right to start ....... Stay far away from these creeps,,,, Just buy Kevin Trudeau's book and deal with the banks on your own ... don't let the banks win they are the crooks                           my suggestion is to hang up on them they pay 5 bucks for every Experion lead they buy

I don't trust any company that hides behind the "Not Provided" or "Unknown" caller ID.
A legitimate company with nothing to hide will use their proper identification, not cold-call people who have no interest in speaking with them under anonymous cover.
Far as I'm concerned they can f*** off and die.

I have been paying Please Reduce my Debt almost 400.00 per month to be applied to 2 debts. I got a call from one of the lawyers for one of the debts and he said nothing has been applied to this account in the last 6 months. That is the exact amount of time I have been with Please Reduce My Debt. My Statement balances have not been reduced. So where is all that money going to. I am just beginning to investigate this. The next payment due will be returned and I will begin the process of disconnecting myself from this outfit. The smart thing to do is take care of your finances yourself.

Freedom of speech? Well I see this site is not designed to allow others to voice or speak freely without being censored. Removing or taking down statements from others is certainly not providing freedom of speech. As any computer geek knows using bad ip's is very common to block your tracks. So what ever i am sure that many other sites will post what has to be said and not fear that freedom of speech is gone from our rights.Blogs will always exist and people have a right to speak what they believe. This site is afraid to have others write what they feel.

If any of this appears to have lies then tell us what the process is and how the money is spent? What portion goes where. Posting these numbers here would provide proof that it is indeed a legitimate company. Show how it is used to reduce the debt and also how you stop the collectors from calling? These should be relatively easy task to document and then these posts I have been reading will be lies if the money is used to do as they say while having the credit agencies ease off and the phone calls stopped! The truth is the calls never stop and judgments are obtained against you while you are paying to have this corrected. Post  this as  in the order that you do this. I myself have copied these listings for soon the lights will be on. How many people have been helped through these methods and how many have signed on in need of help but did they in fact receive any? Did the help out weight the cost?  I myself am not saying that this company is wrong but rather the posts I read seem to speak what others felt. Freedom speech has now been denied by this particular site.

Deny the truth! Why because lying has made you dishonest money. Prove to me that the $49.00 each month went to pay my bill and not support you Derrick, Steve and those other unscrupulous people.

Yes websites such as these help protect innocent people from being fleeced by the likes of you. Show me the records of help.

Strange I have reviewed the contents as to give you the benefit of the doubt. Conclusion is that they all say how they lost their money to you and that Steve.

Dear Sirs, I think that websites such as these are informative and can be very helpful to the consumer. Unfortunately they can also give unscrupulous people the audience to voice slanderous and libel comments that are completely fabricated. I have been in business in the same location for 8 years and have an excellent reputation. If you look at the complaints that have been written and compare the last three weeks you will see that they have picked up speed and that the content is basically the same. My partners and I have worked very hard to build this business. We employ over 300 people and their lives are affected by the perception these people are trying to create, which are entirely unfounded and untrue. Please assist me in uncovering this crime that is being bestowed upon us. Any information that you may need to show that these comments are untrue, we will be more than happy to furnish.

Please contact me at 877 343 3418 which is also the number that is being targeted.

Your urget help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

I spoke to Anthony who kept clearing his throat. He told me my score an mentioned the unsecure debt but I don't what he saw when saying I have 23k in unsecured debt because I don't have any any unsecure debt/high intrest rates. I'm an  authorized user and that doesn't effect my score neg. So why would I pay $49 a month to them to help me when I'm not behind or in a struggle. Why wouldn't they see that I'm not behind or in neg standings with my creditors, if you contact enough peopel and say enough of the samething someone will meet the score/debt category that you keep adverstising. So don't immediately fall for them being close on your situation, do your research! All the best!!

Well my call was quite similar, .55 cent on the dollar and said they saw that my credit score was decreasing over the last few months & that my debt was around 23k unsecured. I promptly told them that I'm not behing, straped for cash, or have deragatory information being reported on my report so bottom ine what could they do for me & how would I be able to cut debt in half and increase my score at the same time. He didn't have much to say but I could get out of debt that much faster I asked him to provide my a web address so I could read and research them myself so needless to say for $49 monthly fee that I read in the email he sent I'll be keeping in my pocket & using reputable banks and crdit unions to pay my commitments as I've been doing. All the best but I'd steer clear.

Dunno what to say about you folks that seem to think that this is such a scam company. I checked with the settlement rating system of america and they had a AAA rating. I talked with them and am considering going with them, they sent me a copy of a contract without me even having to give up my SSN or any account information other than the names of the creditors and what I owed. Sounds legit to me so far.
