A long time friend of mined called and told me these guys called his phone looking for me for CHECK FRAUD...I was like WOW, that's pretty EXTREME considering I've never written a check.
When I contacted the number back it was "Alexander & Stefano"
I was upset of the untrue accusation that had made about me and I'm considering reporting them as well if this continues.

I received the same msg. from a Mr. Stanson, he really likes hearing himself talk. Anyways, I called them to notify them to stop calling my office. He asked for "Human Resources" I told him "There is no human resources." he then asked for "Corporate" I said "There is no corporate office". At this point he was frustrated with me, I told him that by law he has to stop calling me. He said "he wont" I said "in that case I will sue you if it happens again" That's when he got really upset and started talking over me and then hung up. I got their address here it is.P.O. Box 301 Kennmore, N.Y. 14217

This Law Office has received several recorded messages, for a "Roxanne Riley". We do not know of, nor do we employ Ms. Riley. The message claims to be from Alexander & Stephano, and threatens legal action through "National Attorneys Network" if Ms. Riley or her legal representative fails to contact them.
We returned their call and a Mr. Stanson (or Johnson?) immediately requested our phone number, which we refused to disclose because they called us! We were barely able to get a word in, because Mr. Stanson would not stop talking over our attorney. We have notified Alexander & Stephano that we will be reporting them to the Attorneys General of the State of NY and the State of CT if these threatening calls continue. Others should do likewise.

Wish these companies would quit calling businesses. Received a message from them claiming to be Alexander & Stefano (Sounds impressive doesn't it?). They said this was regarding an important business matter, yada....yada....yada. Asking for a former employee. Called them back, spoke with Mr. Flanders (note lots of background discussions going on, alot of them seemed to be using the same canned speech). I tell Flanders that we don't have an employee by that name and I even repeat the name for him. He then insists that I give him the number that they called, I told him sorry but you Idiots are the ones that called me, you should have that number since you've already tied it to a person's name. Guess what.....he got mad and hung up.
Did a little on-line research they are a collection agency out of New York.
Use Caution with these companies, they use scare tactics to get people to give them personal information.....Don't let them Scam you.
