These people are scams they can NOT take you to jail nor cops.  They can't even prosecute you.  Laugh when they call and hang up. Their objective is to scare you into paying.  If you want to pay cl the direct debtor not this third party scam artist that suck at their scare tactics!! :)

Liberty Investigations called my phone and left a message on my cellphone threatening to prosecute my husband if he didn't get back to them and that he needed an attorney. Brad Jordan called from United Liberty Check Services. Started the call by saying my wife had "gotten herself into some trouble with some checks." I told him to call the police. Then I asked for his business license number and told him I'd call the police. He said he was in Harrison County. Funny, United Liberty isn't located in Harrison County.

They just call me and had me going for a Lois Cummings. When I found out they were fake I called and cussed they a***s out.. robin lewis Lawrence whoever she may be.

They called my uncle saying I had an allegation regarding a check.. I just think if it where true I would of got the call myself. And I found it really weird that when u call all they say is "liberty" normally companies will follow the type of business after they say their name

Called me too,,,,same crap , same people every few months...saying that if a certain amount isnt paid then were going to jail....or that theyll tell the judge were not complying....bunch of CRAP! Get a life people...find REAL jobs instead of harassing people.

I JUST received a phone call from "Liberty Check Services" from a woman named Kimberly Green at extension 110.  She said she was calling on behalf of Evi-Corp and trying to collect on a loan from 2008 for $1518. Funny, I've never taken out a loan and I don't know who the hell Evi-Corp is. THEN she asked me if I knew a girl by the name of Brenda. I told her that this Brenda happened to be an enemy of mine. She proceeded to tell me that this "Brenda" and I had a loan out together. Ahhhhh...I JUST checked my credit earlier this year. I have NO issues! She put me on hold, then said she called the district attorney's office who said they will not press criminal charges if I made a payment and they only accept debit or credit cards. I told her I wasn't giving my information out over the phone and to give me a website to make my payment. She said that wasn't possible. Well guess what??? Neither is the payment you think you need to receive!!!
I guess I'm not the only one they are trying to scam!

They are complete SCAM ARTISTS!  Ignore them!  They are trying to accuse you of something you didn't do and trying to get you to pay them.  They threaten police coming to get you or going to jail etc.

Received 3 calls over 3 months for a Wendy Morrow/Wendy Castillo from a Barbara Nelson @ 888-378-1455 from the Plaintiff Dispatch office or something like that regarding a home invasion.  Bill Dorsey @ 773-257-7021  was from National Bank and then another call today from someone @ 877-357-4333 else I couldn't understand.  Each time they give a case# to call back with. Nelson's was a Plaintiff Office and said she would remove my# at the county level when I told her she has the wrong# and same with the other numbers.  They quickly got me off the phone and wouldn't say any more.  THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!  IGNORE THEM!  If you don't know what it's about then it's a scam, plain and simple.  I even called the police dept and they thought it was likely a scam as well but that's all they said.  Well, now I feel better as it initially had me worried.  Now if a long distance # pops up on my cell that I don't have preloaded, I don't answer.  So glad this website was here.  All I had to do is enter a phone number and up this popped!  Thanks everyone!

I received a call 03-16-2013 from a Robin @ 877-357-4333 ext 117 she said that I had to call her back then.I returned the call and talked with a Carl Anderson ext.105 Compliance Coordinator. He asked me if I had ever had an account with Bank of America in 2010 - I told him no and that I have been dealing with my current bank for almost 8 years. He also mentioned a password that was used and not one that I would even have. He said that I still have to pay the $300 or they will procede accordingly. Does any one know who to contact that can get this dropped? Carl indicated that this can go against you quickly. Please advise on how to procede.

Beware.......1-877-357-4333  I recieved a call from some one who says they repersent citi bank fraud dept and need for me to call and provide my account number because of check fraud.  I do not have an acount with citi bank. after this i contact the credit buere to report this.

Yes, odd that they always seem to have the same voice, yet a different 800 number and a different name for themselves and their "company", huh? I'll bet they're all the same group of no-good-SOBS and I have be that for a long time. The interesting thing is whenever I Google the name they use, it always seems to come up as an athlete, movie director or actor. HMMMM.... One thing I hate more than anything is someone assuming I'm as dumb as them, because that, my friends, is A LONG SHOT. I had a call from United Liberty Check Services. Actually, they were very nice, even after I totally lost it on them for calling known associates for a debt that wasn't mine. But their scare tactics are bogus. If you owe it, work it out. If you don't, know your rights and fight it.

I just received a call from someone, and the same story as mostly all of these ridiculous phone calls...'someone you know (usually family) has a case against them'... I have continued to turn these people in for the past 3 years.

Why is it taking so long for anything to be done to them? They try to scare those who do not know their rights, and they prey on innocent citizens using unbelievable, illegal, and obnoxious venues.

I tell them that I know their scam, and I shall be turning in their phone number as soon as I end the call. I always tell them not to call back; requesting they take my number off their list. You rarely receive another call from the 'same' number...but you will probably receive the same scam from one of their affiliate numbers.

Got a v-message on my phone from 877-357-4333 ext 102 like I see alot of other people have gotten. First off she kept mispronouncing my name and telling she is from Liberty Check Department and Ligitation that my case had been sent to them and if I continue to ingore the call that my life will be in jeopardy. (YEAH RIGHT) I haven't written any hot check in years and if I did have one out my bank notifies be ASAP plus charges me a NSF fee. So all I have to say to this is "People get a life" This is all starting because I am calling and paying off a few debts on my credit because I am wanting to purchase a car at the end of the year. So that's why i'm sure creditors that haven't been calling are starting to. Oh well.........................

Received a message on our machine from a Ms. Tiffany demanding we call her back for a reason involving our bank.  She was actually looking for a Valerie Baker.  We have not seen of or heard from this woman in almost 20 years. When explained about leaving the message on my elderly parent's machine and the violation of HIPPA Laws by leaving a message with information on someone else's machine....Ms. Tiffany and the Supervisor, Ms. Johnson, had no clue what I was referring to!

I directed them to remove my elderly parent's number from their records and to note it in their file to never call them again.  We don't know Valerie Baker anymore and could care less if she is alive or dead!  The Supervisor, Ms. Johnson hung up on me.

The same thing just happened to me this same company called me saying that they were going to file misdemeanor charges for check fraud and malicious intent. Apparently the didnt know that I work for one of the largest debt purchasing companies it their legal dept and I handle civil suits asll day. So I asked her what bill it was for and who owned the debt.....she then said that no one owns it it was released to them to file charges with the county that the pay day loan was opened up in......She got upset with me when I told her that she was full of s*** because I know how this works and 1st of all you cant file criminal charges on a civil case and 2nd of all a debt has to be owned by someone in order to be collectable stupid. This also happened to me about a year ago ironically with the same payday loan but the rep told me that charges had been filed so i called the county court and they had no record of a case for me and that the story I had told them sounded like a scam. **********If a company cant tell you who owns the bill or wont send you any documentation that is a for sure sign of a scam.....and always try to get a hold of the org creditor and verify who they sold the debt to or who has the debt before you pay anything or just simply pull a credit report and it should be showing who owns the debt there***********

I received a phone call from 877 357 4333 today.  The woman asked for Ivie ?.  I do not remember the last name.  I told her I had received a call from them asking for Ivie before and that I do not know the person they were asking for.  She said she had never called before.  I tried to talk more to her and she hung up.

For all receiving these calls...be advised...YOU CAN NOT GO TO JAIL FOR AN OWED DEBT. There is no debtor's jail. Do NOT give these scam artist any of your info. Tell them to come arrest you, tell them you will have your local police and your attorney present when they come. Trust me...they are scam artists and WILL NOT show up.

This is definitely a scam.  I went through this a little while ago and contacted not only the state attorney office but my city and they said the following.  "These are scam artists, never give them your contact or financial details on the phone and never pay them anything they are asking for.  If you are worried contact your local city attorney office and ask them if their is anything filed against you.  I'm betting their isn't."  They also contacted my Step Son's house and threatened them, my daughter in law was sick with cancer at the time (and has since passed).  This was very upsetting to them.  They seem to be very good at finding people that you haven't seen or talked to in 20+ years."  If their is something filed at your county office then you should talk to the county office about it. I'm betting it isn't filed their.  Also, if you did have a money loan from MoneyMart, Check n Go and others like that, check your city as in San Francisco a class action suit has been won and you may be entitled to money because they legally can't get 400%+ in interest from you on a check loan.  Hope that helps.

My sister-in-law just got a call from this number (Monica) who threatened lawsuits in Catshaw County. Weird thing is that they called my sister-in-laws home number.

I called the Pennsylvania's Attorey Gerneral's office. I explained what was happening and the other complaints on line about Liberty Processing. She said they are scam artists. She suggest I file a complaint . Doing it on line is the fastest. She suggested I not answer their calls nor call them.

I, have talked to several people at Liberty;Amy Clark, Bethany Newman, and left a message with Rachel. They are all rude, attempt to be threatening, and are not willing to provide the necessary infrmation I need. They are fast talking folks who have mastered the technic of not letting you say a word as they talk so quickly.. What can I do? They seem unwilling to work with you. They are saying I owe ten sixteen...not dollars.. This is how she said it to me. It is a bit threatening. But it is difficult to find info on their company. It doesn't make  sense.

I got this voicemail... She gave a docket number in which I called my local court, who had no idea what I was speaking of! Foolishness, and so not worth my time. I have bigger issues than this! Fret not all, any legit company would give as much info as possible if they were really trying to help you clear this up, smh!

Received a voice mail from "Paul Anderson" at 877-357-4333 ext.105 with United Liberty Check Services that wanted to give me an opportunity to get my recorded statement as well as advise me of my rights for my case they are recommending to file with the county. No identifying information was given to confirm that it actually was me they were looking for (I have a VERY common name). I have not written an actual check in at least 5-8 years (hello-debit card). So I am skeptical to hand over any of my personal information. Will wait and see if they continue to harass me...

They just called for my husband said the guys name is Carl Anderson and that they are calling my husband due to a matter they were given they gave a docket number as a reference my husband called and they are closed. He said he was giving my husband the chance to speak for himself or he was going to loose his chance to speak and they'd file the litigation in the county where we live. Is this all a  scam????? Very worried.
