Yes I'm going through the same thing with NCS in williamsville NY....the woman name is Mrs.courtney Elise she had left me a voicemail this morning saying authories are go to locate me and process with legel actions...I had called mrs.courtney back at 877-732-5016 I had asked her can I have proof of what I owe she had said no that authories are on their way then she hung up on me...NCS debt collectors agency the woman I had spoken to her name is MRS.COURTNEY ELISE

NCS COLLECTION NON STOP CALLS, REFUSE TO PROVIDE ANY PAPERWORK

I find one of the best ways (besides the idea of telling them the call is being recorded...which these DISreputable collection agencies REALLY seem to have a problem with...lol) is to do the following (similar to what 'Having Fun' is doing).

They call: "Hello, is this Joe Blow?"
Me: "Who's calling?"
Them: "This is Mary Poppins with ABC and..." ...well, I stop them right there and say
Me: "And what is your company's address and local telephone number [if they're allegedly calling on behalf of some other company, I want THEIR name, address, and local number too]?"
Them: "We  don't give that out for security reasons?"
Me: "Well, I can appreciate that.  It's also for security reasons that I don't speak to any caller that doesn't FULLY AND PROFESSIONALLY identify their company.  Good-bye!"

You can imagine them staring into the phone saying, WHAT????
They usually call back with "Joe, I NEED..."
Well, they OBVIOUSLY aren't providing ME with the info I REQUIRE, but are more worried about what THEY "need" so I hang up on them.

Expect a third call: "Joe, I.."
Me "Are you ready to provide me with the information I REQUIRE?"
If they come back with ANY answer except the INFORMATION I REQUIRE, I cut them off and say
"You apparently do NOT comprehend.  Until I have the information I REQUIRE, you have nothing of interest to say to me.  Good-bye."

Any of you have or remember taking care of a hard-headed 2yr old?  They whine, cry, stomp feet, etc. thinking you're going to give in ... and when they figure out you're ignoring them, they leave you alone?  Well, these folks are just overgrown whiny little 2yr olds that need a good nap, and YOU ARE THE BOSS of them ... SO BE THE BOSS!

They're invading YOUR life and expect you to pay them for the privilege of trying to bully and intimidate you.  DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO.  They are NOT cops, you are NOT under arrest (even if you were, you keep your mouth shut and let your attorney talk!), you do NOT need to make ANY statements about something of which you have NO KNOWLEDGE because they're too chicken scared to send you anything.

Do NOT email with them, provide them ANY info.  If their "investigator" is "hunting" you, maybe they ought to hire a REAL investigator who can find you, knows your address, and give that to the attorney so you can served UNEXPECTEDLY (because they do NOT call and warn you) with a summons/legal papers.

YOU are the BOSS of YOUR PHONE and time.  Do NOT forget that!  Would you let someone walk in your house and start threatening you?  HECK NO!  Well, don't let these jerk-wads do it on the phone!

WOW, if you don't have your brother's Army phone number, it must be a classified number.  It would seem the military could call and tell them THEY are under FEDERAL INVESTIGATION for breach of National Security (or whatever) for having and calling the number and to give over the information of how THEY obtained the number, especially since he didn't even give it to y'all...his family!

These clowns have been calling almost every day for the past year.  The two "cases" they claim they have against me are from payday loans from years ago that I have paid off almost triple the amount that was borrowed.  When I told them that they said I was lying.  Funny how they can call me a liar yet they won't provide debt vaildation.  By law a debt collector has 5 business days from the date of contact to sent debt validation.  I filed a complaint with my state's AG and the told me that this company is nothing more than a scam and to ignore them.  The next time they called me after that I explained to them that my state's AG said you were a scam.  They proceeded to tell me the AG was wrong.  I then asked for debt validation and they stated they were not obligated to send anything.  Sure.  I love how these lowlife bottomfeeder debt collectors think that people are that stupid to just send them money with no proof of backup.

My ordeal started, when I received a call, from a friend of mine, that this "NCS" company called. They tried to get the goods from them, but they didn't divulge anything about me. I then called them, was told I had "allegations" against me, and I needed to make a statement. I asked for validation, and it was just a PDF file, with my address, but no return address. I, in turn, hung up, emailed the state's and the Gov'ts consumer protection bureaus. I received a copy of the letter the state has sent them, but YES, the calls keep coming. I have EVERY call on my cell, including all the times they called me from "unknown" numbers. They even called me from Brooklyn, NY..It was a non-working number, which says to me they have a number generator, which makes it hard to trace, so they think.....and NCS..I HOPE you are reading this....I pulled a couple of your ADS off of Craigslist. I know you are in Williamsville, NY, just a matter of time before you are LOCATED!!!

Well these amazing people keep calling me and keep calling from a differnet number each time. this time, I told them, like advised from an attorney, that this call is monitored, and I want to know the name of there business and there address. they refused. I thanked them and hung up. they called back, I informed them again I am recording this call, they told me I cant record them if they don't let me, I explained that I can record any of my phone calls for personal reasons, and they have broken numerous FTC laws. the girl, this time named Rachel smith, got irate and started toyell and hung up. about half hour later, they called again, this time with a supposed manager, who sounded just like Rachel smith, and told me that there personal people will deliver me a court summons today. as I explained, in the state I am in, a summons HAS TO BE DELIVERED BY A COURT APPOINTED SHERRIFF OR COURT APPOINTED PERSONEL, and must identify as such and has to show ID if I ask. she than hung up again. Than at 830am they called me this morning. when I told them its against the law to call that early, and I am recording this call and noting the time and all that, she said that its 930am where she is so she can call me. these people don't know the law, don't know what they are doing and according to an attorney, they are a fraud and should not be paid a dime. If they try to sue, or do actually have a court summons show up, the way to fight it is that they never gave you there info and refused, and harassed you., they cant by law call any of your family or friends and explain what is going on. all they can do is ask for the person, and explain that they need to talk to said person they are calling for and if this isn't there number, not call it again. I guess if people want to scam others, they need to learn the law and these idiots don't know any of the law

Definitely a debt collection service.  They left a voicemail looking for someone I've never heard of.

This number has called my phone number, my Mother's phone, my Father's phone, and even my Brother's phone number claiming that I owe past due fees.  However when I speak with the representative they get very irate and begin to threaten me when I request they send their claim in writting.

I have gotten couple calls w/message that say we need your statement for a legal matter call our office today to resolve this matter. The bills I owe I'm paying. They have called my parents my brothers work phone which is a work phone that we don't have because is for ARMY & they called my sister in laws parents & my sister in laws cell phone.

Finally called these people back. They alleged i defaulted on a debt with the hawfoik (sp) group in 2011. They representative indicated that i received this loan through an eft deposit into a bank account that i have not had since 2009. Really!? Also told me that their NCS company name stands for nothing! Come on!!! This people are amazing!

**I have downloaded the APP - MR. NUMBER on my smartphone android, it now blocks them from calling and just picks up and hangs up on the them. If Mr. Number sees a number come up as a potential SCAM, it automatically blocks them from coming thru on cell phones. the only time they get thru to voicemail is if my phone is off and cannot be blocked. TRY THIS - IT WORKS

Can you get a company name and address?  By law, they MUST identify themselves.  Report the calls to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  Every time they call, record them, and tell them that you are recording every call they make to you.  Let them know that you will be turning these recording over to your attorney, since he's going to go after them for multiple violations of the FDCPA and also the TCPA (you're not the debtor they're looking for, but they're harassing you anyway).  This is the link for www.fcc.gov/cgb/policy/TCPA-Rules.pdf

If you do get a company name and address, type up a cease and desist letter - you can find many examples online.  Send this letter certified mail, return receipt/signature requested.  Once you have proof they have received the letter, you can log each and every violation of this cease and desist communication.

NEVER pay anyone unless they send you proof you owe them a debt.  Did you call the company you originally had the loan with?  If you did, and the account was paid off, they should show this in their system.  I say this so you can have some peace of mind.  Scammers call and harass people into paying debts they don't even owe.

Next time these people call, tell them that you have reported them to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  Let them know that the FBI is monitoring and recording all calls they make to you.  It actually would be a good idea to record them yourself.  Tell them the call is being recorded every time they call.  

Bottom line - these people don't have a leg to stand on.  They are scammers who have somehow harvested your information (illegally) and are trying to scare you into paying a bogus debt.

This number has called me DAILY for OVER A YEAR. Back when I had Sprint I had blocked the number but now I'm with T-Mobile and I'm having to endure these calls again. They are looking for someone with my last name that listed me as a family member and they ARE NOT family. I've told them several times I don't know this person and for them to stop calling me but all I get in return is "I don't know ma'am, he listed you as family, I think you might be telling me a story...We'll go ahead and keep your name and number on his contact info until you help us find him" I've reported the number to the FCC and I really don't know what else to do but I'm losing my f****ng mind dealing with these a***oles!

They've been calling me looking for a relative. I wait and call them back early in the morning, like 6am, when I know I will get an answering machine. I leave them the number they called (my home number), I do not leave my name, and tell them that person does not live here do not call me anymore. So far it's worked with making the calls cease. Don't ever let on that you know the person or they will keep calling, just say that person is not at this number, do not call me anymore.

Did anything ever come of this call as I just received the same message, but I have no idea what they are talking about? It was a recorded creepy voice.

I have been receiving calls from this number for at least a month on a daily basis. They call my work phone and my home phone. They were calling me from a different #. That one stopped. They say I owe a payday loan company that I used several years ago. I paid them off but this company says I still owe them. When they were calling me from the different # I tried to make it stop by agreeing to a pay arrangement. I had to stop them because I couldn't afford them. That's when they started the daily calls on this 877 #. I don't even answer my work phone when I see their #. But it is still annoying and I want it to stop!  I would like to know how and where they got the information they have on me.

Are debt collectors even allowed to come to your house and leave notices? isn't that illegal

I received a notice this morning on my door and Im trying to call the number on the paper but they don't answer or call back. then I received this 8773575826 and when I picked up, no one answered.. Wtf! They have been calling me every morning around 8ish. what do I do? should I even worry?

Calls are identified as a BLOCKED # then they give you their number in the message. Annoying calls all times of day. How the heck do they get our contact information anyway?

These people have been calling my phone and my family's phone.  They even went as far as to call my fathers first wife!!!!  I have called them and spoke to some young lady with an attitude.  I asked her what this so called debt was in regards to.  And she mentions some debt from 2010.  I advised that per the state I live, I have the right to ask for validation of this debt to be mailed to my home.  They advised they could not do that.  When asked why they couldn't if they were a debt collection agency, they proceeded to advise that they were not debt collectors, but investigators that are used by the collection agency to track me down.  As I laughed I then asked, well then why are you trying to collect money from me, if you are not a debt collection agency.  She of course had no answer.  These people think that we are not hip to what is going on or know our rights.  I advised that if the calls did not stop, I would report them to the FTC.  The calls stopped for a while.  But as of today have started right back up.  At this point I will just ignore the call until they start harassing my family again.

They are calling my cell phone but won't leave a message and calling my job and left a message. So I called them back and they refused to give me information about this so-called case or debt pending against me unless I verified my personal information. Not happening!! I am a victim of identity theft, I'm not giving out anything on the phone. I requested paperwork and the agent stated 'if you are not going to verify your information then I will have to end the call' and he did. The most recent calls came from Rachel and now Jennifer Scott.  They went as far as to say they had served me the day before at this address (my job) but was unable to contact me. I had been at work all week 10hrs a day. They use the scare tactics especially at the job.  I am not sure how to get them to stop calling but I really appreciate the advice from Alfalfa.

It's NCS - trying to collect past due hospital bills.  They call her daily & ask for Jasmine.  I've told them time after time that there's no one here by that name but they continually call.  I'd ignore them if I were you.  They're rude & have no telephone skills.
