Yes, the message on my machine  was from Christy Lee. Same thing... trying to reach a person and they gave my number as a point of contact.  Said it was the last warning and they were going to show up at the persons door to serve them with a summons for trying to defraud a bank.. Funny thing is -- I never heard of the person they were talking about.  I say they should go for it ..because if this person gave them a phony reference number - more than likely they gave them a false address too.... Ms Lee needs to get her facts straight before using her sweet tone to leave threatening messages...

I received a call from them and they said the same thing, I dont know if it is legal to call your job and threaten you. Does anyone know if this is a scam or not?

I just received a message from this number by a Tiffany Johnson.  Same thing as above, needs to serve a summons, gave me a case number, has been unable to reach the person at home, has to do with a fraudulent check charge, etc.

they say they are from a payday collection NCS Office they say the're going to press charges on you and come to your jobs to have you appear in court and they also tell you that you frauded this company and thats what the charge is fraud

Keeps calling my home harassing and claiming I owe money even though I have never heard of them or owe any $ to anyone.

Yep, third party collectors running illegal practices and scare tactics to convince you to giving them personal info so they can take money. Note even if you have debt for some kind of payday loan or any other circumstance, that what these people are doing is illegal, and paying them will not affect any debt you owe to the actual collectors. Companies like these obtain info for a nominal fee from processing sites (such as if you apply for a payday loan, or even free credit reports these days depending on what site you use).

These people are bottom feeders and should be treated as such, tell them you need an email with a proper heading for their company explaining details on your "case file" (they do make up case file numbers which seperates them from the thick accent indian gentlemen that try this same scam so poorly, however these people are american and a little more put together). Tell them you also need that to include a Permanent Mailing Address to where you can send proof that you do not owe them anything (sometimes the caller may become hostile when asked these questions they cannot answer, like any real mediator for a collection company would be obligated to.) Inform them that you are currently checking their status with the FTC, BBB and State Attorneys Office and will follow their instruction before you follow theirs.

Or you can just tell them to Bring It as if you were The Rock himself, because all these people are doing are making false threats.

A women called to try to reach my son and I told her he was not here.  I do not live in Calif.
The phone call came across my cell phone as blocked. She advised me it was very important that my son call immediately be fore more action was necessary.  she gave me the phone no. and case no. I asked who was calling and she advised it was the state of Texas.  I asked what my son had to do with the state of Texas as my son has never been in Texas.  She appologized and tole me it was the State of California.  I called my son immediately. I hope he takes action on this company as I believe I had a harrisment call.

"Jeremy Miller" claiming to be a state process server.  Threatening that "the case will be tried without you".  Total BS

Recd a call from an unknown number leaving a message for my brother and advised that they had a summons in connection with a bad check and they would serve it at my residence or place of business and good luck,  I think it's a scam.  Anyone else get a call like this??
