i called the 877-361-8604 but could not get through because i kept getting a busy signal. i went to my bank this morning and told them about my situation and they put a hold on my debit card that they used and gave me a provisional credit to my account that should take about 10 days but they also told me that if the company disputes it within 90 days that they will take back the 90 dollars they credited to my account. i hope that they find out who these scammers are! all because i ordered the acai berry free trial! never again!! if this has happened to anybody else please post and let everyone know what to expect. i will let you know if they dispute but i hope they dont. the teller told me that they usually settle. (but not necessarily the acai berry frauds) just in general

I have also been scammed by these people. I called to report the unwanted charges and got a confirmation number that they had cancelled the charge and would refund my money. But it didnt stop. I was charged again. When I finally got through on the phone I could barely understand the person's accent that was trying to explain to me why I kept getting charged. Of course there was no supervisor available and I had to continue trying to work this out with her. After a very long 30 minutes on the phone with her she kept insisting 1 that I did not cancel before the trial period ended I was charged the first 89.31, then because I did not cancel before the first of the second month I was charged the second 89.31. I have called my credit card company and of course you have to go through a pile of paperwork to file a dispute but that is where I am going to start. Then I am going to call the attorney general's office and FDA, EPA, BBB and whoever else I can think of to report this fraud. I think the reason it takes so long to get a real person on the phone is becaus the call is being transferred to a call center in a foreign country.

Well, still on hold with them, it's been an hour and a half and no one has yet to pick up. Got me for the 89 dollars too, too bad it also overdrew my account. What a freakin joke! I am so pissed off right now. Does anyone know a # to this crappy company that they answer? I just keep calliong the # on my credit card statement, after 3 tries and holding forever I can't get through to cancel this crap!

like many others i have ordered a "free" trial but was charged $89. I called to get a refund and the customer service (after 20 minutes on hold) guaranteed my refund and said it would take fourteen business days to go back into my account. After 2 weeks the money still was not in my account...so i called back-4 more times. each time they tell me it will just be a few more days, they are experiencing transaction problems. i asked for a number or email for their corporate office, but they said they could not give me it. How does a corporate offfice for a company not have a public email? They did however give me an adress and said i could right them...4650 SW 51st St.3711, Davie florida, 33314. I checked online and no match for this adress came up. My guess is this is not a real company, but just a scam to get as many charges as possible....is there any way to report this?

Like the others on this thread, I was ripped off by these people.  I've never received my free trial bottle and ended up with an $89.31 charge for a second bottle.  When I called (877-859-1069), the woman said it was clearly stated on the website.  If it was clearly stated, why are there so many complaints against this company.  Obviously it isn't clear to anyone but the rip off artist at this company.  I told her I wanted all shipments stopped immediately.  She gave me a cancel confirmation number, but refused to refund the $89.31 USD.  I am reporting this company to the Attorney General's office to see if they can be stopped and if I can get a refund from this company.

It is a shame I didn't see this site before ordering the "free" sample.  I will never order a free sample of anything ever again.

Thank you for the info re: these rotten scam artists.  They need to be stopped.  The best thing that we can all do is cancel the credit card and report the amounts they charged you to the fraud division.  If enough of us do this maybe we can run these thieves out of business.  They will never get another dime out of me!

I have the same issue as most other people on this thread. I noticed a charge to my credit card for 89.31USD. After googling fastmelts 30 I found this thread. I call the 18773508480 and after a long wait my call was answered. The gentleman who answered told me that there was a free trial sent to me and after not getting a reply to cancel the account they charged the additional amount and set the second set of pills. However, when I asked when the free bottle was sent, he told me the free order was only shipped 1 week prior, and we had not recieved it yet. At this point he miraculously found the order for the second set of pills and told me he could cancel my order.

I have also had this pulled on me, with the $90.02 unauthorized charge, and this was AFTER cancelling my listing with Fit-Fac.com, which is where I ordered the trial from. All of the numbers have not been helpful with getting through and getting my money back.
I plan on contacting my district attorney as well, and getting a new bank card. I am all for a law suit on this company.

How do you have your Visa set up to not take any online orders?  Is that something in your own internet preferences or an option offered by Visa?

Did your bank statement say the same thing for both transactions - "FASTMELTS30"?  I want to be able to give my bank as much information as I can so they don't charge me.  I finally got through on one of the many numbers listed on this page.  The women asked me if I had received the free trial yet, and I said no, and she said don't you want to try it before you cancel it and told me I had so many more days to cancel.  I told her I didn't want to be charged $89 and if she didn't cancel it, I would cancel my credit card.  She gave me a cancellation number, begrudgingly.

How do these people sleep at night?

I'm all for a class action lawsuit.  ANyone married to a lawyer that does that kind of work?  This is a ridiculous scam and there are advertising all over Facebook and MySpace as well.   I sent something to Dr. Oz and told him they were using his name and face and Oprah's and Rachel Ray's illegallyto promote this and he actually called me back.

I just checked my credit card online and saw where there was a charge of $89 that was attempted. I have my Visa set up so that nothing internet can go through without a pass code so they didn't get the money, but I also have to hope they don't figure a way around it. I did notify my bank as well.

I have tried all the numbers listed, only to get busy signals and "your call can not be completed". If you read the terms, they can sell off your credit card information, and if you look up more on this number you'll find people who have had other companies that have charged peoples cards for stuff they didn't even know they bought. I would high suggest canceling your card. I just did, and now I can't be charged the $89, or anything else...

No phone call but saw a $3.95 charge show up on 10/17 on credit card for FastMelts30. We call the credit card company and was transfered to the fraud division. They are issuing a new credit card; the old card has been cancelled. I think this is a better way to go than calling the number.
Our number on the bill was 877-869-1069. Judging by the other comments, it looks like if they get away with the $3.95 then they might charge the card again.

You you get a confirmation #.

They said nothing to me about this charge, and im very pissed about it.
You can get the real deal from GNC for half the price.

PS - this is what I am going to do and suggest that each of you who were charged full price for Acai Berry when the advertisement said you pay shipping and handling only -

Google your local District Attorney's office.  I contacted mine in Monterey County.  Fill out the consumer complaint form.  This way, the company will be under a fraud watch and hopefully, they will get busted for consumer fraud.  I would like to see these people do some jail time.

I am so pissed at these a***oles that bill your credit card for full price when you sign up for a sample and are told that you would only be charged shipping.  I was charged $89.00 for something that I NEVER received.  I think we should all get together and file a class action law suit against the company and bring this to the Feds for investigation

I also behaved like an idiot and ordered this crap online. Here it is, a full week later, no product and 2 days on the phone morning noon and night trying to cancel future shipments and charges to my card. Thanks to "scammed" above, I tried the number referenced: 877-361-8604 and after over 20 minutes on hold with terrible psuedo Asian music I finally talked to a C/S rep named Ada, supposedly in UT who did cancel my order and ALL future shipments, or so she said.  Just to be on the safe side, I had already called my bank and given them all the information as well as letting them know it was literally impossible to cancel membership as the toll free numbers given were constantly busy. All I can say is, thank God I bank with Bank of America, their C/S is outstanding. To anyone else who banks with them, the number for Billing Disputes is 800-457-3693 to file a dispute for charges made to your card from this merchant. Good luck to all, a valuable lesson learned for me (never order from someone you don't know)!
