I've been called by this number since April 2013 by World Recovery Service for an old debt. They are calling my cell phone which violates the TCPA. Has anyone ever sued them and won money? I have about 8 pages of calls and a few phone messages they've left me. At $500 per call they are at about 50K based on my log not including attorney fee's. I'm just wondering if it's even worth it?

I just add them to my contacts and then add to rejection list so they are rejected immediately....really, if I had the money I would pay and calling and harassing me isn't going to make me pay, take a number and get in line....LOL

Robocalled 5+ times a day by these guys. Actually got a hold of them once by answering, they wouldn't tell me their name. They would speak fast and REFUSED to SPELL their companies name. They purposefully are being deceitful on who your talking to. They were trying to get me to verify my social, then when I told them I don't give that information out, they read my social back to me. They wouldn't tell me what they were calling for "security reasons" but as soon as I refused to give my social they GAVE IT OUT OVER THE PHONE to the PERSON WHO DID NOT VERIFY "by their standards" that they were me. This is more than a scam this is a criminal issue. They are disclosing full social security numbers over a phone line, without knowing who is on the other end. Still wouldn't tell me why they were calling.

It looks like they've revived a long unused number.  Did the company owner just got back out of prison? Did the boiler room cooled down enough to use again?

If they are not looking for you DO NOT call back or talk to them.  If you do convince them that they have a wrong/old number they will just sell it on to the next den of thieves and you will have to learn new numbers to block.  If anything, put them on hold to waste their time.

Mary, who posted earlier today, I want to know why you are on this site? The question for this site is "Did you get a call from this phone number," and it gives the number. It did not tell us how to answer it, but to read the posts below to find out details; so I don't think it's appropriate for you, or any other person, to tell people how to answer the question or give us your sarcastic answers. You obviously got the call from them and was curious as to why they called or why else would you be on this site. You may even work for this company/scammers and trying to get us to respond to the call, but that won't work. These are real people with real concerns who post here and they do not need your sarcasm. I'm on this site because they called me too and I wanted to know who they were because they did not leave a message. The responses from some of these people helped me a lot. just pick up the phone and take care of it then, if they are not looking for you, they will remove the #, if its the correct number, take care of your responsibilty!

I would be careful about defaming a business. WRS (CA) does not robo call. How do I know? I'm a former employee and I got numerous calls from consumers who complained about this FL outfit. Why don't you people try reading the FDCPA.

WorldNet Recovery Systems, LLC is a great company who treats their employees and consumers with respect. Try a little of that before you start slinging mud. The only thing you are right about is that they are not related-thank goodness!

This Erica person has said nothing. "i can attest to their professionalism" --> what a joke of a statement. Fact is, the company in California purchases debt they brag about it on their website and on their facebook page. The company in florida doesn't deal with consumer level crap and therefore has no reason to do any automated messages. These robo-calls come from the California company its that simple. They buy crap from HSBC, Wellsfargo, and deal with pest control type accounts, these chums need to stop using the same name as the Florida company if they want to keep doing these stupid stunts

You need to check your facts. Yes, the companies are unrelated. However, the WorldNet Recovery Systems out of California does not robo call and has never had an employee by the name of Mindy Clark.
I have worked for this company since 2003 and can attest to their professionalism. Furthermore,we are well aware of the Florida outfit because we receive calls from upset customers constantly claiming they have been threatened and harassed by this group. When they try to reach them they can't. Again, it is important to check your facts because the statement is completely backwards.

This may also be a company called Regent Asset Management Solutions also known as R.A.M.S. They buy up LOTS of small debts from banks and try to collect the money. They are so disreputable that they won't even admit that they are actually called Regents...How dumb do you have to be to figure out an acronym? They are a real company, but these scare tactics that they use are ridiculous. Urgent matter...only one time opportunity to call TODAY, or else. I put all their numbers in my phone so I know not to answer. They also call at all hours. Check your credit report, or call Clark Howard's consumer action line. They will tell you what's up with them. I researched this thoroughly. They must send you written notice of a debt. You may complain to the Office of Consumer Affairs.

Caller left message saying she was "Mindy Clark" and wanted me to call back.
Called back and received an automated voice saying, "Please hold while we connect you". After a short wait, another automated voice said the person at extension 7000 was not available, please leave a message.

I got the same calls for days.  I guess that he got tired.

My wife got a call from someone she didn?t know and wanted me to find out who they were, so to the web I went. The sad part is that when I did my search, I found a lot of people who stated something like, ?They call me every four hours or whatever blah, blah, blah.?

Please understand you are not helping by putting in your displeasure here, your number is on the ?Do not call list,? the laws about the FCC or whatever. People want to know who is calling and not about our hard luck stories about how many times they call.

Sadly we all are living in hard times, and if it is a bill collector calling, we gave them a right to call us when we sign up for a loan and defaulted. Also the idle threats of, ?If you don?t stop calling me, I?m going to get me a lawyer and sue you? doesn?t work.

The reason I say this is, they know that if we don?t have the money to pay our debt, then maybe we don?t have the money to hire a lawyer. Therefore, if you know who this company is, then please let the rest of us know. If you don?t, please spare us your how many times they?ve called and stuff and how annoyed you are. You?re not helping.

This 877-363-9857 number with messages from Mindy Clark or Bill Davis have been reported multiple times by me, but they still keep calling. I guess being on a "no call" list doesn't help.

Got a call from this number.  Message was half cut off and said it was a Mindy Clark and to call her back today.  Well, you don't tell me what it is in reference to, i am NOT calling anyone back.  Plus the message was cut off, as though they had been talking while my v-mail intro was running.

I keep getting these messages. They are saying they are looking for (of all people!) my ex-husband. My name has not been his last name for more than 5 years. I called them back and told them to lose my number and wasn't very nice about it. Hopefully the calls will stop.

wow, Mindy Clark is on a roll! i too got a voice message from her requesting a call back TODAY to (877) 363-9857 and immediately felt like something wasn't right, so i googles the number - and found this!

ha! needless to say, I won't be calling back.

Corporations, LLC, and companies in general are registered on a state-by-state basis.  Therefore, it is not uncommon for businesses to operate in different states-- under the same name-- even though they are completely unrelated. In this case it is World Net Recovery Systems, LLC out of California, this is the company that is committing these bad practices.

World Net Recovery Systems of Miami Florida -- does not leave any automated messages, does not have any Mindy Clark working for them, and is completely compliant with all laws governing debt collection.

Again, World Net Recovery Systems of California is completely UNRELATED to World Net Recovery Systems of Florida. They just happen to have the same name.

This # calls me like once a week. Mindy Clark is the name given and she says it's important to sp le ak with her today. No company name given nor the reason it's so important. Please hold while we connect you is what I got. It then said the extension is unavailable so I left a message that said to tell me what company this is when they leave a message next time. We normally do not answer unidentified calls. Caller ID is awesome.

I have received many calls from this number.  I have no business with them.  The recent calls are coming from a Mindy Clark.  STOP CALLING MY NUMBER.  I HAVE NO BUSINESS WITH YOUR COMPANY.   STOP STOP STOP

received the same message and caller from number sept 9 at &:50 pm. just noticed it. i called back. it is a silent answer and exchange to the number service. i left a message not to call again. we are on the do not call list also. have no idea who or what this could be.

Mindy has called me several times as well.  My son & I are so irritated that I decided to call her back.  Got v/m of course but then it was 9p PST.  Told her I appreciated all the calls but in all honesty I didn't need anymore friends; I just didn't have time to fit anyone else in.  If she really needed to talk to me, and I can't imagine why, she could send me a letter via US Mail.  She was no longer allowed to contact me via phone.  Again, I told her I appreciated how badly she must need friends to leave messages on a phone where she doesn't know the people but there was just no way at this time I could fit another friend in.  It's been 3 days and no further calls; don't know if it will last but I'm sick of all these phone calls from people who I don't know, don't owe money to, and don't want their calls.  The authorities won't do anything about it, they are too worried about being re-elected and our problems are just that, ours.

A call came in  on my cell phone  to our local area code I did not recognize  this number and did not answer .. It was a recorded message saying that this was  Mindy Clark asking me to call her back at 877-363- 9857..

I went on Facebook and asked every Mindy Clark to stop calling me ...
