I got that number on my cell 361-221-1481 but lady left 888-253-8651 when i traced number online said from an India provider with tract phones like virgin mobile and location is at or around delhi, India...sorry but what they are claiming is false therefore i am not even attempting to call them back but have printed and researched information on the numbers...becareful with these scams...they will even go as far as saying a relative died they did this to my friend right after her father passed away.

We are retired and get this crap all the time.  I hit *69 and asked them not to call and they tried to get infomation, saying it was regarding a relative using my number, or had visited us this month.

That's impossible cause we just got this house last week and just returned from out of the country from 8yrs.   So UNKOWN writer, if they are a real collection company, they would know we have no family alive.  Not everybody deals in credit, so grow up and know that these companies can make mistakes and can scam elderly into paying them.

I looked this up and FYI, it is a scam, a foreign company that gets old paid or unpaid and bankruptcy too, info and tries to get money.  My grandmother (83yrs.) got the call today and she doesn't even have a charge card! She's been a widow for 15 years.  They told her they will mail her some important documents to sign.  I told her if the mail comes send it back or give it to me and I will forward it to the attorney gen.

Know your rights and when in doubt..toss them out!

They are calling twice a day about some documents. They are so annoying. I wish someone could stop them.....

I also had a "pending file" with this office and it turned out to be an old credit card acct i had. They allowed me to pay 550 on a CC where i initially spent at least double that and sure enough it was removed off my credit report. They werent very nice on the phone but i did get a good deal

By what each and every one of you are saying this DRS and ICS company is just a normal everyday collection agency. Doing the exact same thing as EVERY other debt collection agency does that calls you.... I have had them contact me as a wrong number, i got the voicemails everyone is talking about and they were direct and to the point, i called back to let them know that they had a wrong number and she told me that it may take a couple days but it is out of thier systems but they are working the kinks out of the dialer. i got the call for maybe another day. You want my suggestion how about this PAY YOUR BILLS, STOP HIDING, AND STOP PLAYING DUMB,  you know its there and you know you owe why give the debt collector a hard time when you owe the money! How about lets start being adults about the situations and realize if you owe the money then pay it, if you dont owe the money find out what you can do to get you ss# out of the air, and treat someone how you want to be treated. Oh and if its a wrong number guess what it happens, tell to take it out of their files and dialer, give it a week and guess what they stop, Grow up act like adults and Pay your Bills.

**BTW statue is different in every state, even if it is *charged* off you credit as everyone always states the debt is still not gone, You cant just owe money and think Oh its been 7 years i dont have to pay it. Guess what, you took the products or services,  you owe the money. And yes they will file a 1099-C very quickly, thats the documents they are filing, a family member of mine dealt with them and they filed it  against him and he had to deal with the IRS**

This is a debit collection agency that buys old debit and jacks the apr back on it and only tells i can pay it back wit ur debit or credit card the are based out of greenville sc and use vontage phone systems and a auto dialer to call u so it comes up as a local number on ur phone so u will be more likely to answer but if these guys call u let them talk there bull to you and ask lots of questions cause if u let them talk long enough u will have info on them for a nice little lawsuit cause the debit is old and they will threathen u with a 1099c its bs tho i am glad they fried me i asked a question about my commission i was told to leave

It's a scam.  Received call from 877-365-3574, but caller ID said 954-417-7296.  I didn't answer but they left a voice mail. This number, 954-417-7296, is not in any data base.  I looked it up.  They say they are from D R S.  Just another scam caller to get financial info from you.   A new twist to Nigerian scam perhaps?
