Marty Zuckerman from Domari and Associates called me and left two voice messages two days in a row. The first message saying that they have "projects" in Tampa Florida and was wondering if I could steer them in the right direction and the second message she stated that one project could end up being an excellent opportunity. I am happy with the job I have now. Why would I return the call?

They left a message to my office number "Hi John. This is Alyssa from Domari. We talked couple years ago. Would you please return my call at 877-366-2741 Ext.306. I need to talk to you. Thx.."
Glad I checked the number and found this board after getting suspicious about the message because I cannot remember ever talking to someone with name "Alyssa from Domari".

"Demari Associates Recruters" called me at my work place to ask if I was interested in "an engineering position." Since I have zero background in engineering, I knew right away this was some sort of scam. I asked what kind of engineering -- civil, electrical, railroad -- and the caller had no answer. The "position" suposedly was in Houston TX -- and as soon as I told the caller I had no interest in relocating, she asked for my personal information in case they had a local position. Another sure sign of a scam. I gave them a phony phone number & address and told them to have a nice day. Afterwards I checked out their website, but it looks and reads like a fake business. All repititive copy & pasted text with generic photos. If they call me back, they will be reported to the authorities.

Guy from D&A called... wouldn't identify himself, only insisted on talking to the sales and marketing director. I asked for some simple information before handing out executives contact information or passing along the call, and he refused to give it to me. When I asked for a name and number that I would have the sales manager return his call, they guy hung up on me... shady group, beware.

I received a call from Tim Simon for Domari and he tried to tell me that my colleague was working with them on a project and that I needed to also engage them. They use divisive tactics to make one exec think that others in the same firm are working with them. Don?t these people know that we speak to each other and that no firm would hire a headhunter such as them without internal discussion? It left a bad feeling and my recommendation is that you avoid them as they sound very unprofessional and divisive.

Got called by David on my personal cell while at work. Not a biggie, I am looking for something better, just let them go to vm and check on lunch break. Did a quick google search, found all this. David, if you notice this (or if somebody else at Domari notices), I'm not calling you back.

You might have a nice offer, but apparently you and your associates have earned yourself a hell of a bad rep. I'm not interested in having somebody rep me for a job that has dug themselves such a deep hole with bad behavior and rudeness. I doubt that many other people who do a little research into your company will be interested either.

Maybe try again in a couple years when you've cleaned up your act.

P.S. I do disagree with an earlier comment in this thread, your website doesn't look that bad. A bit dated, but not horrendous.

Same M.O.  Elisa was the caller.  Extension was 306.   "Hi Randy, this is Elisa with Domari.  It is important that I speak with you...."  No explanation, no details.   ...as if I should somehow know who Domari is, right?

received a call from a very vague Chris Clayton x329.  He tried sooo hard to get my bosses cell number....really???  And when I told him he was on vaca he was persistent and a jack-off saying "well he still can make calls can't he?"  like dude...really who are you and what are you selling?  I finally had to tell him I was very busy as his make believe call was wasting my time.  Then I checked here and laughed when I seen he has been harrassing people for over a year!!!  Head hunter - tool lying that he was looking for a job....try another route Chris.

Well you may be a former employee and think they are great, but they have some of the absolute most unprofessional and rude people working for them.   They have HARASSED me trying to get to my boss for 3 years.  The funny thing.....they aren't even calling the right department and had they not been so rude every single time I talk to a "different" person....I would have politely passed on that information, due to the fact of the relentless calls and the fact that they are so rude.....we have no desire to do ANY kind of business with them.  Every single person that has called from Mark, Steve, Richard, Mike....etc., etc. has been rude!!!  My boss asked me to have them remove our number from their call list and they refuse.   BUT they honestly think we want to do business with them.  I will tell everyone I know how rude Domari and Associates treats their "potential customers".  Unbelievable!!!

just found this site... very helpful.  Same MO- Mike Davies with just phone #, extension and no details.  Even if they are legit recruiting firm, the secrecy and rude phone messages are a huge put off.  I've dealth with recruiters in past and the good ones will share the position they have, where they found you (typically Linked In if you're on there), and offer to email info or ask if you know anyone else who might fit... many are quite friendly and leave you alone if you aren't actively looking.  I wasn't planning to call back and definitely won't after reading these posts-- thanks all!

I know, right! These are people that don't care who you are as a company or who you are as a potential employee. They should just call and say "Where is my money", but that would be to honest.

Alyssa has a great voice and would be a great Recruiter or Sales person. Unfortunately, she is being trained by people who are deceitful & dishonest. I am sure if she gets a client on the phone she has to put them on hold so the management that is listening to her every word could force her to do a hard sale to do a "deal" even if the customer is not prepared. Poor girl...she will learn like MANY of the past employees.

This company gets more deceitful, rude, illegal, immoral and unethical practices as the years go on. I am quite sure the man behind these unprofessional tactics has full blown Alzheimer's. He should not be training anyone who wants to be a professional recruiter or sales person. Domari is the only staffing or "Executive Recruiting" firm with this many complaints to be viewed on the internet. It is clear to see why this company WILL fail. It is sad as Nick & Michelle can be successful as managers and business owners. I really hope this company wakes up and realizes who is their true competition, captive sales techniques and the value of relationship building.  Dialing by numbers with many inexperienced "victims" is not doing a service to the employee or any potential clients. You give "Headhunter" a bad name. It makes me proud that in my 20 years of staffing..I realized this company is bad news. After 20 years I have my reputation, my sincerity, honesty and most of all long term clients I have built trust and relationships with......which do = $$$$$.

Got a call today from Glen Grayson, a total d-bag. He apparently worked at Domani before but has moved on as an Executive Recruiter for some company called J. Aaron and Associates in the greater Boston area - his area code is from New Hampshire. Asked for the "branch manager" which does not jive at all with the business. When I told him we don't really have a branch manager, he got flustered and asked for the director of engineering, which was closer. I offered to take down his name and number and pass it along to the right person, but he refused to tell me what it was in regards to, finally saying it's confidential. Then closed by rhetorically asking "Is it always this difficult to do business with your company?" before hanging up.

The thing is, I would have passed his number along if he wasn't so obnoxious about it. I also think, if you're going to cold call a company as a recruiter, you could bother to do 30 minutes of online research and at the very least get the name of the person you're trying to reach. Mr. Grayson did none of these things, then became unprofessional and rude when his own laziness got him the predictable reaction. He's a grubby dirtbag cold calle rand his number is 603.943.7159.

Why don't you guys communicate within your own company!  How many people from domari can call me within the same week?  When someone says they dont know anybody that is looking for employment, not it on a damn database so some other idiot from domari doesn't call back the next day and ask the same question.

Received a message from number starting in 914 exchange to call 877-366-2741 ext 326 from Tim Simon.  I called back, he did not know who I was and asked for a sales manager.  I told him I have alot and what specific person did he need.  He became rude after that and said "the person that makes the ultimate decisions in your company".

I then said, "well, before I get that person can I ask the name of your company?"  You called me and left me a message to call you and have not identified your company and nature of your call."  He got even  more rude and said "well, ma'am, I don't know who you are and that is better left up to the branch manager or higher up".  I said, well you called here, don't you have a log of who you are calling? and any legit company would be more than happy to give me their info without hesitation.

He got even more rude and had an attitude and I asked the name of the company, he finally responded Domani.  But no further description.

His name/number are in the trash and we will not have further contact with him.

I was very nice to him since he left a cheerful voice mail but after his attitude, he blew it.

Have a great day all.

These guys are unprofessional hacks, poorly trained, unsupervised and reading from worn-out scripts.  This is a single office located in a small Florida town and presenting themselves as a national recruiting firm.  They DO telemarket nationally and "recruiters" are generally evaluated by the number of calls they make.  Smile and dial like any telemarketing sweat shop.  Turnover is high with the vast number of new hires forced to make hundreds of calls per day before they quit, all to support the 4 or 5 who have stuck it out for a few years and the unsophisticated owners who have figured out a way to exploit potentially good workers looking for an honest career.    This place is bad news for professional search firms, client hiring firms, and potential job candidates.  Steer clear of these morons...
