The company I work for has been receiving calls  but since they are  automated calls, they go straight through to voice mail.  I once answered and it said to  press 2 if you weren't the  person they were looking for....so I did, and they are still calling!!!  I don't even know how to  find out where they got our phone number from!    hahahaha    Thanks for the info!

Number, by 10:05 am Tomorrow to avoid further action.


This is Very Bold...... I thought that we as Humans were FREE to do what we like?  When did it become a Law to have a Recorded Voice telling

you that "YOU ARE REQUIRED TO CALL OUR OFFICE BY 10:05 am the NEXT DAY???????

I received a voicemail from FDR and was informed by them to call them with a refernce number. so I called them and they have no such reference number and not even a file on me.....where can I report them??

Calls relate to a persons name and that they need to call by 10 am to prevent further action.  I cannot understand let alone pronouce the name they are looking for.  When you call them back their IVR places you directly into the hold queue and later comes back and instructs that they are too busy call back tomorrow.  This has been the case for 3 solid days.  My only option seems to be to release the named persons info and that they are in debt trouble and deal with any legal ramifications of publishing protected information and let the courts rule that is was given out by the collection agency in error and envoke legislation.  Unfortuantely this only punishes the end user who may in fact have no debt but with the CRTC having no interest, power, or inclination to keep the communications of Canada functioning; we as the users that PAY for our service have no rights or champions.  Kinda makes you wonder when our country's leadership is going to pull their heads out of their butts before people abandon the PSTN all together.

Appears as a missed call on my phone at work.

Every day I get 2 or 3 calls from this number threatening legal action by Mr. Nassar.( Automated) Have answered and they hang up have called back and they hang up.
I have no outstanding debts, but each day I get a new file number and a time at which I must call back by. It is a random time too like 10:05 or 8:11 lol...really who chooses these times? They can't have that much to do as they seem to be calling random people hoping for money.I don't bother answering anymore and this has been going on for almost a year.

Got another recorded call today at 10:05 am on my answering machine. Threatning legal action against unknown parties to me if they didn't call back tomorrow. Yesterday I got my first call about these unknown delinquent people from this entity from a different phone number (800-763-3328) threatning legal action today. Obviously someone is running a scam to put their hooks on someone.

are you sure that's all it is?? apparently they have been calling my moms house looking for me.

I have received three calls, then went and checked my credit rating - which is clean, so these people have no reason to be calling. Must be some kind of a scam!

This is a collection angency automatic calling service. They have been caling me for over six months now. I do not answer.

I keep getting a call from this FDR Default and Recovery.  I'm asked to call back and quote a file number.  I have no idea if this is a legit company.  I've tried to research them on the internet and all I come up with is this thread.

Caller is an automated caller. States a name (Fisher, Shaun) and asks that if I'm Shaun Fisher, press 1, If I'm not, press 2.

I'm guessing it is from a collection agency, but, I'm not ready to start pushing buttons to find out. No idea who this person is.
