I receive a call from this number numerous times throughout the day as early as 8AM.  I want them to STOP!

This is definitely Amex. I had my husband pick up, after we kept getting calls from this number everyday, twice a day (we didn't pick up). And then finally we picked up yesterday, and it was a telemarketer from Amex.

Have received three calls from this number during Christmas holidays. All calls are screened - no message left on answering machine.

Call them back. You can have your number put on their do not call list. Don't know if it works but the automated system is in place for you to do so.  The automated system answers as American Express. Crappy way to do business but there you have it.

They continue to call my number every two days or so. They say they are calling from Amex but it is not about the card itself. Very annoying and they don't stop calling.

JUST got off the phone with AMEX and after going 2 or 3 layers deep into their customer service did get a confirmation from them..this IS one of their survey/marketting research firms. I actually rather strongly expressed to them the underhanded practice this affiliate was taking blocking caller ID, and in calling at 8 PM at night. If this company does call you..
1. Regardless of the apparent identification of this as an AMEX affiliate, Do NOT give them personal info.
2. Call AMEX customer service (1-800 number on the back of your card) and tell them how you feel about AMEX marketing affiliates blocking caller ID and calling in this manner. Personally, I do NOT pay a annual fee for the card so I can be harassed so I unloaded on them.
Maybe enough of us flooding their customer service lines on this call will make it too expensive for them to continue this retarded practice.

They continue to call my number at least once a day for a few weeks, they take a break, then they start calling again.  My husband finally answered and when they asked for him, he said it was him and they hung up.  This has happened 3 times.  I don't answer them anymore.

I get a lot of calls from this company. This may be one of those auto-FAX dialing machines trying to blanket FAX advertising to anyone with a FAX. I used to go through a lot of paper from Junk FAXes but now, when I am gone I just unplug the FAX. The number still records any incoming calls but at least I am not running through so much paper.

Feb 04 2009 Caller ID American Express 366-6737.  Have called repeatedly all hours of the day, finally talked to them at 8:30 PM PST. Told them made numerous requests to be removed, told did not want to see number on caller id again, not call. Asked if that were clear. Repeated it two more times. At this point, representative claimed that call was being recorded!!!  Repeated do not call again, and finally got statement that it would take 30 days to remove from list.  I still am suspicious about this call, and still think it could well be fraud. American Express could not confirm this was a call from them, but noted it was possible.

I have added this number to my blacklist. Group legal action should be sought against them, and amex.

Call them back - give them a number to take off the list? Sounds like a way to get your number for sure...so give them a number they would like not to call - like the Attorney Generals Office, White House etc....  :)

I get 2 calls a day. I call the # back when I get home from work and it states "welcome to American Express" and this # is disconnected. Go figure!

Calls every 2-3-4 hours!  Starts early morning.  We do not answer, since number is an unknown, and NOT familiar!  So, it is AM EX? Wow; good to know; don't have'em, don't want it!  Just another bill!

just got a call from 877-366-6737. The person just mentioned as a valuable American Express Customer they want to send me my free credit report. Did not ask for any info which was strange..Will see if I get anything in few days.
