The call is an automated message from a credit card carrier about activating a replacement card that was mailed where the previous card is due to expire.

We don't even have a mortage and these people call us at least once a night during dinner. Never leave a message.

COLLECTION AGENCY. I NEVER ANSWER 800 NUMBERS. I HAVE A MESSAGE ON MY VOICEMAIL SAYING THAT IF ITS A UNKNOWN NUMBER I WILL NOT ANSWER SO PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE. IF THEY DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE THEN OBVIOUSLY IT'S NOT IMPORTANT.

These people!  They call every dang day asking for my husband.  I finally told them last Friday to stop calling here and take our name off their list.  Then got another call today...didn't even ASK for him, just said his name and when I asked who it was they hung up.  I'm so frustrated.  I just called back and told them that by law they have to take me off their list, even if I am a customer.  Otherwise I'd report them to the FCC and they'd be fined up to $500.  They said they'd take our name off but it could be up to 30 days.  Their customer service number is 1-800-669-6607 if you want to call them.

Every night I get a call that I don't answer.  Almost every day I get trash in the mail trying to sell me credit life insurance, refinincing, etc.

I keep getting their calls on my answering machine, including three today.  Unfortunately, my mortgage was sold to them.

  A REMINDER:  If you ever get to talk to a person, DON'T HANG UP!  You should keep them on the phone as long as possible and waste as much of their time as possible. Just keep asking stupid questions like you are intersted but don't understand something.  The longer you tie up their lines, the less chance they have to annoy someone else.  It's almost a civic duty!

  Also, when you get one of these calls, don't hang up.  Let it run to the end (say with the phone in your lap) so you tie them up as much as possible!

Countrywide....our mortgage was sold to them.  They call daily, if not several times a day.  It's a joke between my spouse and I that we have the number memorized at this point.

Managed to keep them on the line for about ten minutes. They kept asking for my personal information, and I kept refusing. I love to tie up telemarketers and see how mad I can get them without them hanging up.

These people keep calling me in spirts usually every two weeks. I just don't pick the phone up anymore when I see a call from 877 area code.

Have received this call several times at 6:00 p.m., but have never picked up the phone.  We are on the "Do Not Call List."

I am a Countrywide customer and I have been receiving a variety of telemarketing calls from 877-371-2775. When I answer directly I sometimes get a telemarketer from Countrywide who wants me to refinance my loan. Other times I hear only tones and clicks and then silence. When it goes to voice mail the "message" is often just a series of tones, but not like the buzz of a fax. The caller ID does show the number 877-371-2775 but lists the caller as "UNAVAILABLE."  However, when I call the number it clearly is Countrywide. I called the number and asked to be placed on the "Do Not Call List" as of 12 November 2008. This is certainly the most annoying set of telemarketing calls that I have ever dealt with, especially in terms of frequency, and the tones, clicks, or other non-human sounds associated with the in-bound calls.

Caller id dispays "800 Service".  When I answered the call it simply disconnected.

turns out its countrywide home loans, have a loan from them and they wake the baby everytime they call

countrywide..same as others. no voice just a call and a dead line. asked them to stop and the operator said i would be taken off the list but they still keep calling. is there is something that we can do?. reported the number too the do not call list and still nothing. that service is only good if they do the job and stop them from calling. there should be legal avenues we can take to punish them for not obeying the LAW!

I don't understand the logic if they don't even want to talk to you !! can someone xplain this!!! do they just have to meet quota calls !! do they get a kick out of harrassing someone who is sick and is disturbed by the ringing , has difficulty answering the phone , just to be hung up on ...

just received a call from countrywide, whom we have an account with. the person at the other end was reading so fast i asked him if he would slow down as i know he is reading from an idiot sheet, he really got mad, i told him to have a nice day cause if these calls continue it will not be a nice day for the company,,,telemarketing....

Caller transfered me to someone that tried to get me to give them personal information. Looks like a scam trying to seem legitimate.

THEY CALLED US ALMOST EVERYDAY. WE GOT CALLER ID. ITS CAME UP WITH TOLL FREE NUMBER. TODAY ON JAN 10, 2008 WHEN I PICK UP THE PHONE, THEY WANT TALK TO MY HUSBAND. SO I YELLED TO THEM ' STOP CALLIN HERE N GOOD BYE, I HANGED UP THE PHONE ON THEM.

Just for kicks I have been calling them and then hanging up three times a day. It makes me feel better.
