This is a Scam - DO NOT FOLLOW UP.

The caller was identified as a Charles Read. He said his from Legal caring, he states he has a summons to give me at my place of enployement or home address and his schedule to come within 24-48 hours. Told me to call the party that is filing a legal case againts me 877 664 9642.

I received a similar message this morning like everyone else. I spoke with a paralegal that had my SSN, address etc. I was told that someone opened up a credit card in my name in 2008 and I owed $1,008.00 and could avoid additional costs if I was willing to settle on the phone... Yeah right.. needless to say I'll wait for my summons

Just got the same call these people are a joke,After i got their call i checked this site and then called them back just for fun and had to hold then when Mr Copeland got on the phone he said he was sorry to keep me holding he was on a call with the  "Attorney General" hmm ok, he then got a little upset when i told him all contact should go through my attorney and he said have her call them, ummmm ok. Anyway i laughed when he said, in the mean time the "processor" would be serving me, i told him to bring it on and did i need to verify my address for him. He was pissed by then and it just topped it off when i told him to bring it on. He didnt have a chance to respond because i hung up on him then blocked the number from my phone. Well my fun is over for the night. :-)

Like everyone else on this page, I too got a menacing call.  Caller was male and identified himself as a service processor and advised me I was going to be served either at home or at work and to have two forms of I.D. available.  I have worked in law offices for more than 20 years and have, on numerous occasions, been required to engage the services of process servers.  Trust me.  No process server will ever call in advance to let you know you are being served.  It destroys the element of surprise and opens the door for evasion.  I've been getting calls like this for the past two years.  I don't have any debt to collect that isn't statutorily prohibited.  These days when they call if I choose to answer, I remind them that they've been threatening to sue me for the last two years and if they are going to do it, they should go ahead and file the papers so we can get this action going.  Game on!

They called me and said for me to be available in the next 36-48 hours that I would be receiving something

Got a recorded message when I answered the phone.  A man said he would be coming to my home within 24 to 48 hours with a summons and that I would need to provide 2 types of ID.  He sounded menacing, so I called the number on my caller ID and asked who they were.  Woman said this is "Western Acquisitions" - we must have called your number by mistake".

This is a debt collector but they are looking for someone I don't know how to get them to stop as they are calling my cell number. What good is our country if you can't get them to do their job as the Federal Trade Commission isn't doing anything to stop this and I don't believe they care to do their jog.

I got on line to look up numbers, and they are both out of the country.  Found this website to notify others.  I will not call them, and will not answer these types of phone numbers.

I just recieved the same call from this number (877 373 5692) the guy stated his name was Charles Clay, and also I was being summoned, they would be at my house or job in 24-48 hrs etc... gave me this 1 877 664 9642 number to call. I decided to play thier game & call back, once the woman on the phone explained the reason for calling, I simply gave her my attorney's info & she stated well everything has been taking care of, & simply hung up very quickly..lol. these people are scamers, my attorney advised, until someone shows up on your door step with a summons, dont worry about it... also if you choose to call them back, please dont give them any personal info, let them do the talking, remember if they are a real debt collector they already should have your info from the creditors they are representing...

I was getting threatening calls from 877-373-5692 about two months ago.  I called my banker with the fraud division and he called this company with me.  He told them that he was representing me and confirmed there was no debt to collect.  They were even rude to him.  I called the police to file a report, but the police said that they didn't say they would come to my home and physically harm me, so they couldn't process a claim.  They calls have started up again and state that I have a summons to appear in court coming to my house in the next 24 - 48 hours.  The name of the company is Western Collections.

They seem to be legit. They called my job and asked for a Manager to know the procedure when it comes to serving an employee. Everyone is professional and not pushy, then again you never know.

This number called us looking for a relative.  What were your served for?  debt?  or personal matter?

I recieved a call saying that I was going to be served...something about a "service of process"  but I ignored it because I thought it was a scam days later I recieved a order to a appear,and  they served me at my job. Where are my rights?

Got a message from an Tina Wilson, she left a message that she was contacting me regarding an investigation due to charges being brought against me.  She has called relatives and people that are related through marriage to my daughter!!!!! What are my rights?
