These scum have called me for the last time. I have dealt with it for far to long, the one time that I figured I would answer they proceed to inform me that if I refuse to pay this debt that they will be coming after me with the police. They threatened to have me put in jail for non payment of a debt that is 6 years old.  Sure I could pay it, but not to them. I don't know who they are and not only that but I don't even know who the original "creditor" is. They refuse to give you information about the original creditor no original account numbers. So do tell me NCO how do I know you are whom you say you are. And then you want me to give you my SS# my address and alternate contact information. I think not!!

NCO has been calling repeatedly and from different numbers as above.  In fact, the calls are so frequent, I have memorized all of the numbers!  These calls, of course, go unanswered.  I have devised a method of dealing with these jerks.  I use an iPhone - my only telephone.  iPhone does not have a native "silent" ringtone.  I went to an outfit called Phonezoo. Phonezoo.com.  Here, you can download free ringtones to your phone.  One available tone is "silent".  I downloaded it and have created contacts: NCO, NCO1, NCO2 etc. for all the various numbers they use to try to call me.  I assigned the silent ringtone to each contact and disabled the vibrate alert for these as well.  Now...they can call all they want.  I am never interrupted, I don't even know they've called until I see their call in received calls.  Enjoying the peace and quiet.

They called me and asked for "el shakira" so i told them f*** you, who the f*** is this and s*** like that, then the dude tells me that the call is being recorded... the f***,, its not even a real agencie

Um they don't have to tell you that they're collecting and debt and unless you verify that you're the person they are looking for, legally they can't give you any information.

I hate to say it but these people make way more than $6 an hour and get amazing benefits. Just sayin'. No offense, but maybe you should get a collections job. You seem just as classy as them. (:

Unfortunately that's not true. I have worked in collections, not for NCO but another company and I can promise you I wasn't like these people. I actually quit because I felt bad. Fdcpa law says 7am to 9pm. Everyday. However, different states do have certain different laws.

I suggest yelling and screaming at them. that is what they should get. Maybe they won't call if they get cursed at and loudly.

I received a call from 1-800-445-4715 and they told me I have over 1,000 in debts. I do not owe any money to any companies. I am debt free. I have insurance and pay all my bill promptly. When i asked her to list my social security number she refused. I am assuming this is some sort of scam.

I AM REPORTING THAT NUMBER BECAUSE THEY CALLED ME SO MANY TIMES BECAUSE A DEBT WITH dIRECT TV. I explain them that that debt is not mine but they inssist. I don want calls from that company.

these are all the numbers the azzhats of nco debt company has used to harrass me on my cell. whats twerped about it is they have been repeatedly told they have the wrong number and im not who their looking for. ive sent 3 cease and desist letters over a a 3 month span and all cert mailed, yet they still call at all hours and days. ill soon be taking a trip to their office with my lawyer with a formal injunction against them as i have recorded conversations of the lack of proffessionalism and threats at bodily harm against me. lets see how they like me after i sue for their company to be shut down permanately or pay out their azz in claims.

These morons actually stopped when I told them his mother owed me money for non payment of last b*** j**.....nco never called again.    I know that sucks for what I did; but I had enough

They tried my cell using 347-218-0531.  When I didn't answer, they tried my home using THIS number. I called each of them back and discovered it's NCO Financial Services. I've been told my credit "walks on water", so the only reason they have to call is because of my step-son who has not lived with us for over a decade.

Recieved two calls from this 877 number today on my cell phone, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon.  They did not leave a message.  Not sure how they even got my cell phone number since very few people know it and I hardly use my cell phone, generally just to call the spouse.  Sure hope they don't start calling at all hours every day as some have mentioned.  Get enough of that from other BS companies on our home phone.

Thanks for your info. I always let unknown numbers go to voicemail, and the messages I get from this number is an automated woman saying something like if you are *** please press ##. If you do not know this person press ##... doesn't do much good on VM *rolling eyes*

This number 877 373 5807 keeps calling me for no apparent reason. I will like  to stop them from harassing me and other people. They call at all sorts of early and late hours of the day and keep disrupting my day.

This number is from NCO Financial Services.  They're extremely annoying. They call at various hours and never leave a message, they just hang up when voicemail comes on.

I never, ever, ever answer phone numbers that I don't know who they belong to.  I don't get caught up with these people or collectors and never will.  If they call...they call but that doesn't mean that I acknowledge them in anyway, shape or fashion.  If you don't answer then all they have left is voice mail.  If they don't state their business specifically then there's nothing to call them back for.  I don't change my number, I don't answer and I certainly don't answer.  What can they do with that??? You never take anything seriously unless you get served papers in person...not threatening junk letters in the mail....  Never go to the post office to pick up anything.  If someone is after you that bad, let them come to you.

Keep getting calls from 877-373-5807, call every day including Saturday and Sunday.  Reported them to State Attorney Generals Office.  Using different number also 888-758-5868.  
I want to be part of a Class Action Law Suit against this company. How can we do this?  They are threatening me, and harrasseing me every day.   Threats were so bad that I had to go spend the night at a different address as I was afraid to go to my apt.

Keep getting either crackly voice messages or missed calls from these guys. Have no idea how they got my number considering I've got perfect credit with no overdue debt :/

As an aside, any companies you may actually owe money to will inform you of such in WRITING. No legitimate business will cold call you everyday with an automated message.

My family used to work for NCO but quit because of how terrible their inner workings are and how shady the employees became.  They are a debt collection company, but even to call them a company is a stretch.  If you actually owe anyone money, and it's within a scope of MONTHS then pay the actual company you owe directly and NOT these clowns.  If it's been a few years, don't even bother.  It'll be off of your credit report in 7 years.

sunday night just got call from 877-383-5807 nco financial. i've got this same call from many differant number. just wish there was a way to stop all of the scammers from calling.

I used one and it danm near ruined my life.

The company I used did NOTHING for me but take my money.

I had to hire an attorney to get my money back from them, and I wound up having to pay my creditors anyway.

If I could go back and do it all over again I would call the credit card companies directly and see if I could work something out with them.  It's a real pain in the azz, and it's scary I know, but trust me it's far better than what will happen to you if you use of of these scam artists.

? ? ? The only surefire way to make collection calls stop is a Cease and Desist letter.  I've used them several times in my life and they DO WORK.

HOWEVER

It's very important before you send one to understand that it WILL make them angry, and there is a possiblity that they WILL come after you even harder.

They work, but I'd say use them at your own risk.

Some fool from this # keeps calling asking for someone I have never heard of. When I tell them I have no clue who it is, they repeat my phone number, and act all rude. Sometimes I get a second call only minutes later. When I ask who is calling they won't say. Calling number back just gets a busy signal, or non-stop ring, and no answer.

I dont know who these people are but they keep calling my phone leaving garbled half messages, and I cant all back
