We have been getting calls from a # 18664663147 they sometimes leave a message but when they do it just them telling us to call them or "we are looking to pay a debt and get any information we can find"! And I don't wanna call them or let them know "any information"! I picked up ONCE and it was dead air for maybe 5-6 seconds then it started ringing! I was annoyed and scared how do they know my number I think they might know my name and # from a bank account? Because I don't walk around just handing my phone number out to people I don't even know!? I just got a call and 23 new messages 20 of them where theirs!!!! I listened to one and they told me to call 18664663147 on the called ID its says unavailable

Calls all the time and when I answer I get hung up on. I call back and get Allied Interstate. Asked today to be taken off their call list. never gave them my name but i was asked if i was someone else.

888-297-4214 called me asking for someone that I know, said he was with allied interstate.  I told him that I do know that person bust they do not live here.  He said thanks and hung up.  I called the number back from my cell phone and a guy answered and said allied interstate did we call this number... I asked him to repeat himself and he said no that he wanted to know my name and the number that they called... I asked him if they are a collection company or what... he started freaking out on me and said that he will not tell me anything until I told him who I was.  I told him no... so he hung up on me...

I keep getting calls from the above number at least twice a day on my cell phone.  A recording comes on saying they are a debt collection agency, LA Interstate, and the call is about collections.  It's a recorded, looped number and never has a person on the line.  Just plays the message over and over.  I have tried to call the number, and they do the same recording.  This has been going on for over a couple of months.  Help.

we do not answer unknown calls so stop calling if you can't show who is calling.....

Are you on the "Don't Call" list for 800 numbers?  If not get on it.  
When people like I Interstate call you, inform them you are on the no call listing for 800 numbers.  Don't give them your name or any information.  They will take your number(s) off their calling.  Simple as that.

I called that number back..Talked to a nice lady (just do'in her job). They are a debt collector. They try to collect on old charged off accounts that other companys have already closed out. But don't know or don't care the acct. was already taken care of. Gave them the info they needed. They work off old acct. info. Names, Numbers CO-SIGNERS  so nothing up to date. I hate these types of calls to But... ,See what happens next.

I've gotten at least 5 of these in the past week, but they always call when I'm at work, so I don't/cant' answer, and they NEVER leave a message...?!

Well, I'm posting again because this number has called me once or twice a day for the past 4 days in a row, along with an "unknown" number as well. Has this number/company been reported yet? I'm on the do not call list yet these calls keep coming...

Just received a call from this number right when I woke up this morning! I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. No message left. I see it's apparently a scam. I hope they don't call back.

This number continues to call both my cell phones and there is no one there.  How do you stop this?

The number goes back to allied interstate, I going to guess it is a collection agency.

What to do when you're harassed by Allied Interstate
•Ask for identification: If you have been contacted by Allied Interstate, you may respond to their call and ask the caller to identify himself/herself. If it is a call related to debt collection, ask for their physical address.
•Debt validation: Send a validation letter via certified mail with return receipt requested and preserve the receipt for future references.
•Check credit report: Pull your credit report to check if they have it reported to the bureaus. If they have wrongly reported to the credit bureaus, you may dispute the same with them.
•Do not settle over phone: Don't authorize payment over the phone even if you receive proper validation.
•Send C&D letter: If you've been contacted over a debt you don't owe or where the SOL has expired, you may send them a Cease and Desist letter. Once the SOL has expired, you still owe the money but you can't be sued for it.

Call rep claimed to be calling about debt collection and asked for someone else. When I asked them to not call anymore, the call rep proceeded to speak over me while reading some gibberish from a script. I continued asking the call rep to remove my name from their database until I heard the line drop.

I find this suspicious. A 'real' company would be considerate enough to listen, not speak over me when I was speaking and make note of my request to not be called by their company.

I have worked closely with customer service centers for my own jobs in the past and know that companies pay a big price to have paid US employees on the phone making calls. So if the company is legit they would do everything they can to avoid making calls that are not going to generate some type of revenue.

I say this is a SCAM. The callers are likely trying to harvest any personal information that they can.

I get a call daily from this number, is there any way to force them to stop?  My number is in a do not call list.  Apparently that means nothing.  Can they be sued and forced to pay for their breaking the rules like this.

I too receive at least 5-8 calls a day from this number on my cell & home phone.  I'm sick of this.  There is never a message.  I'm unable to answer at work.  I've tried calling back repeatedly and never get an answer.  What can be done about this?

I get at least 5 calls a day from this number and never a message calls range from 9am -10pm.  When you call the number it says you have called after hours and to please call again.  You get the same message all the time??????

I have this number on mu caller ID 1-877-375-6990 four times today with no message, just now I got a call from the same number and when I answered, they hung up.

They are a company out of Miami, Florida, CHD Incorporated.
They sell bottled Courage, Hope and Dreams... other kinds of fruity BS.
Don't buy into it.
They tried to sell my Aunt Liza a truckload of magic beans.

I'm thinking they are maybe a student loan company?  A new place took over for much of Student Loan Finance Corporation...I've had a few calls recently-and finally this message saying much of the above.  I KNOW my student loan is about to default-so I'm thinking that's it! lol Anyone else have SL issues?
