I keep getting 3-6 calls a day from that number.  Its a lady and she asks for someone I dont know.

I have reported this to the authorities.

Most of you are uneducated in this field.Speaking on this web page talking about debt collection as if you understand it. People shouldn't take money, nor sign contracts for loans they are unable to pay back. Then get upset when they have hundreds in interest on top of the original loans. Then want to get angry because a person or company steps up to the plate and decides to hold you to your legally binding contract that you signed.... SMH People should also stop giving crappy legal advice to others online.You want correct advice then talk to a collections lawyer, go spend some time in the law library, and if your smart then go get your self a copy of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and read it. Yes, I agree there are many shady ppl in the business, and many shady debt collection agencies. However not all companies are participating in illegal debt collection practice, and not all are scams. You might want to be more careful about witch agencies you choose to hang up on..FYI: If ppl kept there word, and paid there bills, and didn't act so ignorant, no one would have to act so cold or rude to get the debts paid..... I felt the same as most of you until I educated myself better, and started paying my debts......

I received a letter from IRecovery today saying that I took out a payday loan from Ace Cash Express also. I have never had any dealing with this company. So I called them and the first person I spoke with hung up on me. I called back and got a lady named Leann. I asked for her last name and she refused to give it to me. She wanted to know the last 4 of my social and I refused to give it to her. She insisted I pay the balance in cash, credit or debit. I told her that I would be contacting my lawyer and notifying the police.

this is a fake company.. i received a letter telling me i owed 992.00 because of a payday loan i took out with ace cash express ,, i have never taken a loan out from them. i called the compnay and i and in good standing business.. i called I recovery they still tried to say i owed 992.00.. I am calling the police and reporting A CREDIT FRAUD..

Left a message for me to call1-877-383-0433;said it was urgent;one guy named Steve,one call,a lady named Donna.Donna said if I didn't call back to give input,she would go ahead and make the decision for me by end of day,then laughed.i have tried to call back,and get hung up on.

I began to get calls from this number, earlier this year, looking for my brother.  He had lost his job in Idaho and was homeless.  He was living with me for several months and together we tried to get information.  Likewise, most of the callers were rude and uncooperative.  Attempts to make payments were denied because they wanted a total, over $1000.00 in full to pay off a debt that they claimed he owed.  We got 2 different responses to the exact amount.  When we asked for the name of their company and an address, they would not respond.  We asked them to send a statement showing proof of debt and amount.  Again, they would not.  Among the names who have called, are Lauren Bunker, Trinity and Steve.  We tried to contact Trinity again and got Steve.  When we asked to speak with Trinity, we were told that she didn't work there.  We have tried to work with them, but there is something seriously wrong about the way they work.

These people have been calling me for over a year now!  They have the wrong phone number and the wrong person!  They are relentless!  The message starts out with a real person talking "Ann Marie"  Then switches to a recording telling me I need to contact them before the end of the day or they will have to make a decision on my behalf!  I did some research on I-recovery and found out they now have an office at 7690 W. Cheyenne Ave., Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89129.  If I need to contact them by the end of the day, and they are telling me that they are going to make a decision for me... they're liars. I've been getting the same call for over a year now!

ok, so I was contacted by Imperial Recovery Partners with a letter in March 2011 regarding a debt, which I admit I owed. I contacted the number in the letter (866-575-4823) and set up a payment plan that took me through September. Now that I have made my last payment I tried to contact Imperial Recovery Partners at the number on the letter, no luck. I searched for other numbers and found many, also no good. I came across many threads indicating that basically IRP was no more and that their parent company, Regent Asset Management, was also no more. Of course I start to panic, worrying that I had wasted time and money and that I would end up having to do this all over again. Then I came across this thread linking IRP and RAM to IRecovery. I called one of the numbers listed (877-383-0433) and explained that I had been paying a debt with IRP, maybe RAM, but that now I couldn't get in touch with anyone and wasn't sure if IRP and RAM were now IRecovery. She asked me to confirm the number I was calling from, asked me to confirm my name, the last 3 of my ssn, all of which were correct without me providing. She indicated when my last payment was made, also correct, and that it was my last payment. She indicated that I would be receiving a letter in the mail after the 30-day waiting period and that I could receive the same by email if I called after the 30-day period and asked for it. I thanked her and asked if IRP/RAM were now IRecovery or whether IRecovery is simply taking over the collections - she indicated that they had taken over their collections. Still not completely over, but better than it was yesterday.

To everyone who has received threats, rudeness/cursing, harassment, intimidation and such from this company, you need to consult the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. Debt collectors are forbidden by law from calling you if you request that they stop, threatening you with physical harm, telling you they will come to your house/work, threatening to garnish your wages, take your house etc (they can only garnish wages or confiscate property IF they have filed a lawsuit in court and won a judgement...and you would know if they had because you would have been notified of the case and court date by the court).

As I understand it, according to the FDCP Act, you may be able to sue them for this illegal behavior. You should all definitely write a cease and desist letter, as they are (supposedly) bound by law to stop calling you if you request it. Also (again supposedly), they have to provide you with the information on the alleged debt if you ask for it.

You should also contact the Attorney General's office for your state, as well as the AG office in Nevada where they are located, and file a complaint. There is very little the BBB can do. They are justthere to advertise and "rate" a company, but the AG's office can file charges if the offending company is violating the law.

I am in the process of writing a letter to them now about calls I have been receiving.

Oh and this time, they some how forced the number to show up as (775) 981-0212, which is a local number.  but left the message with a return number of the aforementioned 877.  To the girl who thinks she should defend this place,  I have perfect credit and have been as nice as possible to this people.  Your friends that work there may not realize the scam they are pulling.  So dont defend what you dont know.  I am not running from the collectors so I resent your judgement when you have no clue what your talking about.

Wont stop calling me at work.  Never had a bank account with Wells Fargo like they say...checked my credit report for fraud and nothing.  Scary thing is they have my social, she read it off to me and asked me if it was mine.  Written them and called, they will not stop!  Further more...wont send me anything to validate the debt other then an email with my total and how to pay it with a credit card.  I told them I would be happy to take care of it if they could validate the debt.  I told them I would call Wells Fargo myself.  The woman on the other line said that they would know nothing about it, as the debt was charged off.  I called Wells Fargo and she was right, they have nothing on my name and no nothing about it.  However, they are happy to open a bank account for me if I would like. LOL  So its not on my credit report, its not in check systems and you have no copy of contract to validate the debt.  Why would I bother sending you money again?   Major SCAM.

These people called my elderly parents looking for someone who has never lived at their number- a man I divorced in 1994. They are Regent Asset Management AKA Imperial .

They train their people to threaten and intimidate. They say tey will personally come to your home and f@#$ you up. Scared the daylights out of my innocent 88 year old parents who, along with me, have no kknowledge of where my ex lives. If youtry to tell them that, they call you a liar and tell you you are too wordy to be innocent and they are coming after you.

They left a message to call back.  Gave a name but I missed it (Phyllis Smith, or something like that) ext 1923.   They also asked for the wrong name so I'm not calling them back.

I just received a message from my x-husband's new wife......that a Mr. Williams from this same number called and left a message for me at their home. I've been divorced for 14 years and he & I have never shared that phone number and she said that Mr. Williams asked for me by my current name not my old married last name. I tried to call the number and a got a generic meaasge. I'm glad I found this information & I will send a letter first thing in the a.m. asking them to never call me again. Thanks y'all!

Have been receiving phone calls from them for about 2 months. Stopped for a couple of weeks when I said I was the person they were calling for and they asked for a SS# which I refused to provide and they quite calling until a few days ago. My husband also told them not to call that no one lives here by that name and they said isn't that your daughter and could we have her cell phone my husband said no and they quite until just today. Curtis said it was a very urgent matter and to call the 877 383 0433 back and ask for ext 1918. I will not give them the benefit plus they could not pronounce the name Natalie correctly. These people must be awfully stupid!! Very annoying.

You are really going to defend them?? Everyone on here has said what a***s they are on the phone and you think its our fault?? I have a similar story as everyone on here. Started getting calls and messages (about 3 or 4 a week) until I finally called them to stop. The woman was a prick on the phone but said it was taken care of. Couple weeks later the calls started again and went through the same conversation with another jerk. When they started again I called back to get them to stop yet again, this guy was the biggest a** of all. All implied that I was lying and was just trying to get rid of them but the last guy actually started yelling and cursing at me (and yes i was being polite). I am actually hoping they call again now just so I can scream back at them, now that I know the kind of company and employees they have that are harrassing a lot of people.

877-383-0433 called claiming to be from Social Security. Didn't get name of caller. She claimed that my mother and sister called them to report that my phone number was the one of som Angela somebody and wanted to know my name. Of course neither my Mother or Sister knew anything about it and when I tried to call the number back a recording put me on old and then cut off.

As I posted elsewhere, is you want them to stop calling then just email them and request that they stop.  You could also mail them a letter.  This is the third site that I have read that has the same visitors making the same complaints.  IRecovery is not connected to Regent/Imperial or any other collection agency.  They just work accounts that have been at other collection agencies.  It is just as easy to type up a two second email and request communication to stop and then you don't have to go on the internet spreading gossip.  If anyone sends an email and they don't honor the request, then you have something to complain about.

This company is not connected to Regent or Imperial Recovery.  Regent did have an office in Las Vegas, but it is now closed.  Regent was sued in Colorado for allowing a license to expire and continuing business.  They allowed them all to expire as they were closing the company.  IRecovery has the cleanest record for collection agencies in the state of Nevada.  If they are contacting you and you would like for them to stop, simply email them at the link on the website.  I know several employees at IRecovery and I'm quite sure they will honor the email.  If you had a bad experience and would like it resolved with a response, use the email link.  I don't expect anyone to be happy about getting calls from bill collectors, especially if they are calling the wrong person, but a two second email will fix the problem.  I know that a phone call should fix it, but it doesn't always work if the person on the other end of the phone doesn't want to help.  Email is the way to go.

I was checking my voice mail today.  There was a message from Friday ~ a woman named "Cree" (or at least that's what her name sounded like) calling from 877-383-0433 at ext. 1916 regarding a "situation that came across her desk".  I need to respond promptly or she will have to make a decision on my behalf.  Based on what I've read in the previous posts, I won't be returning her call.  Thanks, all !!!

My parents received a call saying they were looking for me to resolve a matter before it escalated. I called the number and these morons wanted my credit card number to settle for money I owed Fifth Third Bank. They are not legit!!! Do not give them anything!!!!! They were rude and when I said I did not owe anything and needed documentation they said they would email it. Surprise surprise I never got it!

They call me all the time, I just ignore it. One time I seen that they had called at 3:47 am. I will eventually be moving back to Colorado. When I do, I'm going to laugh when they call me and i report them to the AG that just happens to be investigating them. Ill even answer and record each phone call they make. They will really hate it when I give them fake info and play games with them!

Received a voicemail about thirty minutes ago. The message was unclear and did not mention a name. The part I could understand was that I needed to call the number today or they would be making a decision on my behalf. I suppose that is one decision I won't need to make today...thanks...I think???

They ask for my grown daughter who does not live here.  They will not quit calling althought they say they will remove our number.  Next time they call I will report to every agency I can think of!!  Bottom Feeders!.

Left me message to call back.  I did out of curiosity.  Had wrong name or wrong number.  Asked them to remove me from list, and she replied they are not telemarketer but would correct the records.

Received a call at work today from a Mr. George. It was reagarding a debt that I paid off with Bank of American in 07. I told him as much and that he needed to mail me the information on this debt. He asked for my email address and I said no. I wanted them to mail me the information on the debt. He asked what my problem was about giving out my email address. I said that I had the right to refuse and that I wanted the paper in my hands. He refused to mail it to me. He did rattle off an address that they had on file and I haven't used that address in 5 years. I told him that. He said by the time I got the paperwork it would be too late. I still requested that they send it to me and he pretty much said it was too late and the claim would go through and then hung up on me. I was reseaching the business and found that the Nevada BB had them rated at a B?? really? Then i found this site that has the information on the Colorado rating. Glad I research things.
