I received a  call from Clear Breeze solution about 3 yrs ago and feel for their lines of helping with our Debt..so $990 later, they just called today..a Paul Allen with return cell number it seems of 410-608-7934. he stated that since they company couldn't help us 3 yrs ago, they would be refunding our money and couldn't because the original account was closed, so after getting them another CC #, he wanted our verizon info and then I become very upset, I told him I would call him back and he said that verizon would be calling with a PIN number.. this made me feel even more unease.. so I immediately called my phone company and put a 3rd party block on and my CC company and they have issued a fruedulent cover on my card in case they try anything,, the odd part is that when I called the number back, it just sounded like a microphone kind of noise..no actual person. Imagine that!!! anyway, all please be careful out there and if you do give information, make sure you research it a bit afterwards and call your establish companies to help along the way.. So stay away from Clear Breeze Solutions... And if anyone named Paul Allen calls from that company???HE IS A SCAM ARTIST!!!

I too was suckered in May of 2008 by Clear Breeze Solutions.  They called me and asked if I wanted to lower the interest rates on my credit cards.  They said they'd save me 1000's of $ and did I have $990 so they could help me?  They took the money immediately off the card after checking to see if I had enough of a balance.  They never helped me, and I ended up filing bankruptcy--after going through a different debt reduction company (they didn't help much either). This last Nov. 28th, I was contacted by a "Robert Hopson" who claimed that he had been trying to refund my account because it had been 3 years and Clear Breeze Solutions hadn't been able to help me reduce my interest rates. He said the credit card that I had charged the $990 to was rejecting the refund (it had been on the bankruptcy) and did I have another card that they could credit the refund to?  He asked me to identify myself by the last 4 of my social, address, and zipcode and mother's maiden name.  I gave him the card number and security code. He called the credit card company and put me on hold.  When he returned he said that a payment due on the 1st.  Then he said it would be 15 days for the refund to be processed and that I could only get the refund after the payment had been made and cleared.  I was given a number to call and it ended up being Mazda credit (Mazda credit said they get about 4-5 calls per month for Chase).  I called the credit card company immediately to ask why they wouldn't accept the refund.  I called back the number that he had called me from 810-597-7769 (a trick!).  He said that I had written down the wrong number when I called the customer service number that he had given me and that the correct number was 800 915-7000 and not 800 945-7000.  He said I was off by one number.  I asked if he was from Chase and he mumbled--I took that to mean yes--as we were on a 3-way conversation that the credit card company had initiated.  A few days ago I called Chase to see where my refund was as it had been 15 days.  The number 810 597-7769 had been disconnected and 800 915-7000 never answered.  She said they never made such a call and that since I had a bankruptcy, a refund--if there was such a refund--it would be credited back to their bank or possibly I would have received a check by mail.  She said they never refund a card!!!!  Just yesterday, I received a call from a woman who said she was a representative from the 3 credit bureaus: Equifax, Trans Union, and Experian.  She claimed she could help me reduce my interest rates on my credit cards and that it looked from the information that she had on me; I owed about $9000.  I said that was not correct and she hung up.  There was a phony charge on my credit card posted Dec. 16th for $50.07 from a Chilli's in southern CA. (I live in northern, CA.).  The charge was made Dec. 3rd. (It takes a few days for the transactions to be posted).  Things just sounded too fishy and I reported fraud.  The credit card company had the notes from the 2 3-way conversations of Nov. 28th with "Robert Hopson of Chase".  They cancelled the account and issued me another card!  If something sounds too good to be true--then it is!!!!!  Don't fall for their scam!!

Clear Breeze has recently called me again after scamming me for 990.00.  They were totally unable to help me!  This was in 2007-2008,  They stole the 990.00 from me.  They recently called again (3 years later) to give me the good news that since they were unable to complete their part of our contract they would be putting the money back into an account for me.  I only have 1 credit card now which is Discover so that is the number I gave them.  It was to be deposited within 5 - 7 days.  I was also going to get a $250 phone card to Frontier for my trouble.  I have gotten nothing and it has been 3 weeks.  The number they gave me to call back was to Visa Card Services emergency lost or stolen card center.  I even had 2 names:  Leah Daniels and Robert Chase.  The number had an extension as well.  Guess what?  Visa knew absolutely nothing about the company and did not have extensions in that department.  Is there nothing I can do to get my money back?  I of course took out a second mortgage and closed all of my cards long ago.  They can't do any damage to me through Discover since I have already put them on alert!!!

I was charged the $990.00 on my card even after several times of them saying that this was no cost to them because that they worked for the credit card companies and thats how they get paid.  I have tried to get them to refund my money to me since that charged has maxed out my card.  Im currently disputing the charge with my card company and Im hoping that this will be removed.  They promised that I could get a full refund in 30 days.  I called to get my refund less than 24hours later.  I was told that I would never get that because thats not how they do business.  I have learned my lesson and I hope that what goes around comes around twice as hard

I lost $1295.00. T was told that I would get every cent of my money back but they just needed a figure to have to work with the credit card companys. They kept saying over and over not to worry it was just a formality and I was going to get my money.  When they did the tape recording where I gave them permition to take the $1200. from one of my credit cards I asked again will I get my money back, The tape stopped and a lady came on and said how many times must we tell you we are a very stable company and you will get all your money back.  Then the recording started again.  I got off the phone and called my credit card company. The next day I got a call from Clear Breeze and they said my package was in the mail.  I told them dont bother that I had read some of the blogs on the internet and I didnt like the way they cut out some of the conversation on their tape recording. The crap hit the fan. She said I was liable, I gave authorization, her supervisor got on the phone and started screaming. Finally I said I dont have to listen to this and hung up. Here's how they won.  When I got their materials I threw them in the garbage.  They waited 1 month after I started my dispute and then asked for all materials to be returned and they would return my money. Learn from my mistake. I would have won if I would have kept all their junk. I even offered to pay for their paperwork that was sent out. Not a chance they knew they had me. And all it was was paper.

My mom was taken for $749.00.  She is elderly and though I was not there when they phoned I believe she thought it was her credit card company.  I phoned them to get her money back because she took out a loan and paid her creditor's off.
At first they argued, saying they sent her two notice's to send in her credit information and that she hadn't.
My mom suffer's from short term memory loss due to strokes and couldn't give me a lot information about them and I couldn't find any paperwork from them or any other company offering this service.
I argued back and reminded them that they did not, "negotiate" with any creditor's to lower her interest rate because her cards were paid off.
Then they said she was given 7 days following the phone call, to request a refund.
They taped her phone conversation with them and I asked it be played back to me.  They are riding the edge of legal practice as far as the law is concerned.  I listened as she gave her permission to charge the $749.00 that same day and knowing my mom well, she believed that they would begin working for her that same day.
They gave me another option as well.  For proof the cards were paid off, they wanted copies of the statements.  They gave me the same bogus address, 2778 Cumberland Blvd., Suite 370  Smyrma, Ga 30080

I phoned elder abuse sevices and they advised me to keep phoning the credit card company's to dispute the charges.  She said that the way you present your dispute to them is very important.  In my case it would be my mother's short term memory loss and believing the company was legitamate.
It's worth a try.  These people need to be ashamed of themselves.
We need to figure out a way to stop them.

This co. misrepresents it's self, leading me to believe it was my own credit card co calling to lower my interest as I have paid my bills on time. I was told it would cost me nothing, that they are paid throught the credit card co. I was very confused on who they were, how this was supposed to work, how they got paid etc. Right after I hung up the phone I did the math and there was no way they could save me money. My overall debt wasn't that high my interest rates are already low and I always make large payments. I immediately called back they refused to cancel saying they had no cancellation policy. They poceded to charge me $990. Once they had my money, the staff was rude, putting me on hold for long periods of time, just to come back and tell me someone would call me back, and even began hanging up on me once I would identify myself. I asked for a fax# and was told she couldn't give that info, again, someone would have to call me back. ABSOLUTELY A SCAM!!!

I continually see that they are located in Smyrna, GA.

I live near there and checked it out, it is a UPS Mail Center, and the "suite" is a mailbox.

Too bad, as if if had been an office, I was planning to dissuade them from EVER calling me again, and I know how.

If someone gets a real physical address for these lowlife pond scum, please post it. I am just like the old TV character from the late '50's / early 60's  -played by Richrd Boone

Are you paid to go on message boards and say nice things to try and make your company sound legit? You say if you don't want calls all you have to do is ask to be taken off the list. How you live with your self? Then you insult our intelligence by saying all we need to do is ask not to be called by your company. How are you supposed to tell someone that when as soon as you ask to not be called again they hang up on you? I'm listening...

I am sorry to hear that you were also a  victim of this scam. In 2008 I had $990.00 withdrawn from my credit card and am now just realizing I was scammed. This so called company did not help me a bit. Please give me information on what I should do? I want these people to pay for what they have done to all who have been caught up in this situation.

I am so glad I checked out this site. I received a packet from clearbreaze showing how much I should pay each month on my credit cards. It shows some months to pay triple amount, this will of course pay off  my debt faster but who can afford to make that big of a payment. They said $990 will show up on my credit card statement but to ignore it. The credit card will not be officially billed until I have saved around 4,000.I feel like an idiott. Now I have to try to get my money back from my credit card company and thats like pulling teeth.

Huh. I am like many others and got scammed too... they charged my c.card- I NEVER got any packet in the mail and I have been trying since February of this year to get this cleared up.  Although when I call them they REFUSED every single time to put me through to a manager or someone in charge. I have submitted a complaint with the BBB as well as with my credit card.
Don't fall for it... hang up on them - it is NOT WORTH IT in any way shape or form.

How can you say that???!!!!  Now that I?ve calmed down a little, I?d like to share my story.  My husband answered the phone to the Clear Breeze people while I was at work.  The ?gentleman? on the phone explained that he could lower our finance charges and save us $4,000 over the next year or refund our money.  My husband asked the man if he was a representative from Chase Bank (who held our credit card).  The man said YES, I am.  He went on with his pitch and again my husband asked if he was a member of Chase Bank and got a YES.  My husband said okay.  They already had our credit card number, our balance owed, everything.   (Is this identity theft?)  I checked our account before heading home for lunch and noticed a $995.00 charge to Clear Breeze.  I asked my husband about it and called the bank immediately and told them to dispute the charges--they were no help.  I called Clear Breeze and asked them what was going on.  They do NOT identify themselves, give their names or anything.  They don?t have a web site or e-mail.  They mumble the name of the company when you ask them who you?re talking to.  They want to be anonymous.  They told me that they would send paperwork for signature and their terms and policies.  I told them I wanted my money back and that I would pay off the card before I wanted their help.  I did not receive ANY paperwork, NONE!  I paid the credit card off within a couple of months (borrowing money from my husband?s retirement to do so).  I called them and said okay you cannot save me any money, you did not call the bank to get my interest lowered (they never even attempted), I paid off the card, send me my money back.  The lady stated ?YOU WILL NEVER GET A REFUND?, the terms were that you had to pay the card off within 10 days for a refund--what terms?  I DID NOT get any paperwork from them.  What happened to the $4,000 savings or my money back?  These people are COMMON THIEVES.  They HAVE to be stopped.  We need to write to our president, congressmen, Oprah, Dr. Phil, 48 hours, anyone who will listen.  I urge my hard working fellow Americans to STOP THESE PEOPLE!  It?s fraud and a scam.  Needless to say, the people they are hurting are the poorest of us that can?t afford to sue anyone.  I BEG everyone, help us end this.  I cried for a week over my hard-earned money being stolen from me and I do not want this to happen to anyone else!

It is easy to get lower rates if you actually do something about it as I did it for years! Secondly look how long it took for them to get Maddoff-eight years doesn't mean a thing. They are selling you something that you can do for yourself. Go check out Dave Ramsey he teaches you how to do all of this and STAY out of debt so you don't need to lower your interest rates.

Federal Law- bans telemarketers who offer to arrange loans, provide credit repair services, or recover money lost in a prior telemarketing scheme from seeking payment before rendering promised services.  16 C.F.R. Section 310.4(a)(2)-(4).  In addition, if operating out of Florida, which clear financial soulutions a.k.a. clear breeze do, they are not allowed to collect money from consumers UNTIL they have a signed written consent- so their stupid telephone recording does not suffice and they are not permitted to charge your card until you send them written consent.  FL statute 501 Part II

Actually Pee Hole,

This is from the FTC.gov FAQ regarding this matter.

"If I register my number on the National Do Not Call Registry, will it stop all telemarketing calls?

No. Placing your number on the National Do Not Call Registry will stop most telemarketing calls, but not all. Because of limitations in the jurisdiction of the FTC and FCC, calls from or on behalf of political organizations, charities, and telephone surveyors would still be permitted, as would calls from companies with which you have an existing business relationship, or those to whom you?ve provided express agreement in writing to receive their calls."

Let's see if these exceptions apply to Clear Breeze AKA Financial/Account Services:

Are they a political orginization? NOPE!

Are they Charitable orginization? NOPE!

Are they telephone surveyors? NOPE!

Do I have an existing business relationship with Clear Breeze or have I given them written permsion to call me? NOPE NOPE NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is Clear Breeze operating illegaly? YUP!!!!!!! Every one who gets this call needs to report them to the FTC.

"If you want your number removed, all you have to do is ASK TO have your number added to their DO NOT CALL List."

Except for one problem Mike, I am already on the National Do Not Call List. I get a call from "Account Services" at least once a week. Even after I have told the rep on the phone that I do not want to be called again. That, Mike, is illegal. And quite a hefty fine, $11,000 per violation hardly seems worth your efforts.
