This is actually Green Tree Services which among other things is a bill collection agency. They never leave a message but always call the same day etc. that they call from a known number;  480-467-6700. I never answer calls not on my answer list. All other nuisance calls are added under bc (bill collector) etc. and set to go straight to voicemail. That way the phone never rings and if no message is left it just shows up on my call log.

Asked for 'Office Manager' or owner of business, but refused to leave a message and never gave their own name or name of their business. Came up 'unavailable' on the Caller ID.
People who refuse to give the receptionist any form of information and simply say they'll call back later will probably not even get their call answered next time. If they won't even tell us who they are or what they want, why would we do business with them?

Interesting posts. I have this number listed on a fraudulent charge on my minor child's checking account. Not sure what's up with all this collection check guarantee stuff. This is definately the same number and so I guess I'm going to say, do not give out any information... I will have to talk to my child again to determine if he was called and if he gave out any information about his account. Weird.

Got a call at 3PM EST, 12/18/13. No message.

This guy is a freak. Said he was gonna rape me when i said no. Im a guy. WTF is going on?

i get calls from this place all the time . i tell them its NOT a business ! its just a race shop were i work on my own race cars . so remove me from your call list . they say the will and 3 months later a start getting calls from them again . i would like to meet a tell a marketer just to kick there A$$ . the telephone co. make me have a business line because my shop is not a home . so i get all kinds of calls from marketing places . the do not call list is a joke ! i put my number in and i still get the same amount of calls from the same places .

Gentleman called from this number. The call was transfered to me, and when I asked who was calling he asked who I was. I told him he was the one who called me and asked again who he was. He replied, " Well I was gonna do business with you, but since you are so rude I will take my business elsewhere." . I traced the number and got this website. He must have been some form of solicitor. I hate all these calls from people trying to sell stuff or FISHING for info.

A lady called from this number and asked if one of our employees was still the controller. But when she asked, she mummbled the word controller so I didn't hear what she said. When I aksed her to repeat herself, she said everything back to me slowly as if I were unable to comprehend rudimentary english. I didn't even dignify her uneeded disresepct with a response and I just dumped her into that employee's voicemail. It was completely rude for no reason at all!

Unsolicited sales call on my cell phone while I am at work.  They should not be allowed to do this.

I tell them please do not call they will call again again again.

Just received a call from a man and said they do check  gaurantee for business like mine. I laughed and ask just who in this day and time takes checks anymore. He tried to make me feel like a fool when I said we did not take checks any more because most of our customers use cash or credit / debit cards and even when we did take checks in the 37 years we have been in business we have never had a bad check. He then said if we had been in business that long we had to have had a bad check. I then said I was not interested and would he please remove our name from his call list he said he would try.
By the way we are a barber shop in a small town of only 2800 people we know just about everyone on a first name basic.

I got this call on my cell phone today and the woman was very rude and I told her that we did not need her companiess services and she got nasty and hung up on me.  I called the number back this afternoon and a person who sounded young and Asian answered and I told her I want to be removed from their call list and especially since they were calling a private cell phone.  Said she would remove me, but we will see.

Just got a call from a Jeff and said they were a check gaurantee service and they could take care of any bad checks we get. I said that we were a ranch and did not sell to the public and do not think we have ever received a hot check in the 100+ years we have been in business. He became very rude and unprofessional even to the point to say that if we really be in business that long we had to have a great number of bad checks. HE CALLED ME A LIER!!! Then he went into a sale pitch about some kind of debt collection they could do for all our outstanding uncollected debt. I said that I was busy and was not interested but he would not give up so I just hung up after trying to be nice and say I was not interested 3 to 4 time. Then Jeff calls back and asks if we were disconected I said no I hung up on you as I told you I was not interested and hung up again and would you beleive he called again but I did not answer that time but called the number back and got the a lady that could not speak good english and said Jeff was the sales trainer and one of the managers but did not take any calls. I guess I lost this game but they will never get any of my money.

I got a call from this company a few days back and knew it was from a telemarketer and just did not have the time to talk and told him so he was very professional and ask if he could leave his number so I could call him back when I had the time I said just give me a few hours and call me back. He did his name was Steve and explained that they had a new way of collecting bad debt and took me to a web site and I said I would like to think it over (it does look good to me) and call him back in a few days. While I was talking to Steve he told me he took this job as a last resort because of the current job market in Dallas sucked but it was a job to help support his family. I came away with a differnt  light on the subject he was doing a job and was getting paid for it not waiting for a handout I feel I made a friend that day. I just called back and was told Steve was no longer with the company but they would not go into any detail but when I asked they said they have a high turn over in employees I did not place an order and never will I just hope Steve found a better job and not just fired he was a telemarkerer that the core could learn from and he seemed to be a lot better that what this company seems to be if what I have read is correct

Received the call 877-384-2038 asking for the owner or manager. I immediately recognized that he was a telemarketer and advised him that I am too busy to decline what he was selling. He then stated that he was calling to place an order but said that if I was too busy the he would not give me HIS business and hung up. I called the number back and spoke to the switchboard or whoever and advised her that if they ever called my business back and or spoke to me or our employees that way, that I would drag them into federal court on harassment charges. The lady figured out who it was and apologized profusely.

Just received another call from this #.  I recognized the # so I didn't pass it through.  I did get this info - Brian Boyce from CrossCheck.  Said they guarantee checks and something about financing for outstanding accounts.  I told he we don't have problems in those areas.  He was surprisingly very nice and did not hang up on me or get at all nasty.  Very unusual for that sort of call.

Just got a call from this same number... he just asked what our business did and hung up after a long seemingly confused silence.
