Got a call from the same company as Vicki stated earlier.. stating they were from american ... i disregarded it ... later on today working my supervisor notified that someone had came looking for me on my lunch... luckly me and my manager are pretty cool he told them I was gone for the day... Come to find out it was something i had done a few months back and was legit.. paid it off.. i gets its a first time for everything uh... cause ill never obtain a loan again... good thing they except credit cards my bill was about 2300..but settled for 1700... thank goodness.. i couldnt afford going to court

who are these pepole if you google them they have one number and 2 or 3 things by the number. they called me tonight and left some kind of code i tryed to call them and got answering machine. left them a message. they said my last name but i havent had that name for 2 1/2 yrs Ive remarried. so im really confused. any one have any light on the supject. when they answer they say AMERICAN but on line it says CRS,AMAZON AT A GLANCE, AND SOMETHING ELSE

they left a message for someone else that they needed to contact them in a timely manner so that they could serve them with court documents. they left a number to call the plaintiff but didn't leave a number to contact the person that was ordered to serve them with the papers. What a bunch of idiots. I called the number to tell them they had the wrong number and they got mad and hung up on me.

I got a call from them also but it is about an exwife who has been writing bad checks according to them

I got the same thing on voicemails that don't belong to me but belong to my family members and it is against FDCPA for them to leave any personal information with 3rd parties. And then no one answers when I called to file a complaint after I got the messages from my family that lives 900 miles away.

Got a call from a local number on Friday. Person left a threat. She claimed that she had received legal documents earlier in the week and that she normally would not do this but she would give me one chance to settle with the plantiff and that I needed to call 877-371-8361 to discuss. When I called the number it was answered by a recording . The company name was CRS.

I have not idea what they are calling about but I am pursuing them. This type of threat is against Federal law.

I got a call yesterday 11/29/10 from this phone number stating she was ready to come to my office in McAllen, Texas, down by the border, if I did not return the call to her.  Hello, as if, I call back and I get the answering maching saying "this is CRS there is no one to handle your call leave a message and someone will call you back"
