These jokers have been calling for a couple of years trying to collect. Yellowpageso. For  two years I've told them to take it to court. Still waiting. Now as soon as we know who it is, we just hang up. Looks like it's now just a way of life. We will never get rid of the low lifes who's occupation is scamming. To all those folks out there that do this, You reap what you sow. I pray it is heaped on your head like hot coals as your reward for scamming.

I recieved all the same faxes and phone calls as described above back around aug. and sept of 2011 form Lisa Owen Ext. 816 but they did receive money from our company because I just now am learning of the scam. With how our business is set up it was very likely that the person they stated agreed to a contract 2 years ago over the phone really did so. However after reseaching it all little more (like I should've done before making a payment) I'm confident that I too was a victim of a scam. I've read above here that this has been occuring for YEARS now form this same company. How is it that hasn't been stopped? I too will be reporting to the BBB and will not be taken again.

We are a small Hotel in Nevada and have recently been receiving phone calls from Derek Ross, extension 817 at 877-389-1258.  
As stated above, this man asks for money, will not produce anything in writing and now, repeatedly calls and harrasses the Hotel front desk.
He claims to have a recording of an acceptance of advertising, which is completely FALSE.  Our company DOES NOT enter into any agreement verbally and only deals with written contracts.
Don't get caught up in this scam.

We have started getting calls from this company again, asking if we got their overdue statement, etc.  Indicated that they were going to turn us over to a collection agency, since they had me recorded accepting their service.  I told them that I bet that I will have them turnned in to the BBB before they get us turned over to the collection agency.  They have done this for the past 2 years.

This number called my elderly parents stating that my mother (who has Parkinson's) had contracted for online advertising in the Yellowpages for her business back in 2009, and they played what sounded like a legitimate recording of my mother's voice agreeing to the charges.  They offered my father a discount from the $495 fee to $300 if he paid over the phone with a credit card or his bank account number.  My father told them that he would need to see a bill, and asked why they hadn't sent one in two years.  They said if they sent a paper bill that it would require a payment of over $600.  When my father requested the paper bill anyway, the representative "Derek Ross, ext. 817" became irrate and pushed for payment over the phone, saying they're a "green" company, and do things paperlessly.  No paper trail . . . riiiiight.  When my father called me and told me about this rather fishy exchange, I looked up the number online, and discovered the commentaries above.  Definite scam.  I'm certainly glad that this site exists, and am grateful for the valuable warning it provides.  My father has been made aware, and won't be giving them the time of day.  Thanks again!  --- Brandon

called to collect a debt for advertising that we(business) have never received an invoice for.  Cannot find my online listing supposedly authorized by phone.  we do not pay electronically and tony at yellowpagesso cannot give a physical address to mail a payment to.   Hm????????

These guys are a scam.  I think they're the same company, Regional Yellow Pages, that contacted me in 2009 saying they were renewing my online advertising.  I never authorized any advertising with them but paid their $400+ bill and told them not to run any more advertising.  Guess what?  They contacted me in 2010 with the same scam.  I did not pay them again, and I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  Here it is 2011 and I'm getting the same type of call about online advertising that I never authorized.  I think it's the same disreputable company and I'm going to file another complaint with the Better Business Bureau online.  Why can't someone shut them down?  This type of advertising scam is all over the internet and what it amounts to is theft.

Received call from these fellows saying we had signed up for a "regional" online presence. We're a small church north of Tucson with a limited budget. There's no way we would sign up for this. They have since been giving us harassing calls threatening legal action. We have yet to see any proof of action, or of signed paperwork.

The last call we received, from Michael Mattel at 877-389-1258 x806, said they would fax us a cancellation form and unless we filled it out we would automatically renew with them. They failed to send the fax, or any written proof we signed up in the first place. We have already filed complaints and are adding to them at the BBB.

Complete scam --stating I agreed to their services.  they cut & pasted yes & no's to questions from a phone previous phone conversation.  Now they are requesting payment.

We have been getting harassing calls from Stacy regarding the bill we owe. We asked them to provide an original invoice and signed purchase order. They can't provide either. In addition, the voice recording sounds dubbed. I just sent them a fax stating we were not going to participate in their scam and that all further communication needed to be in writing.  If they continue to call, I will contact the Attorney General.

Been getting the same call for about a month now stating we owe $532.95 for services rendered and do i want to renew or cancel, either way i owe the money.  when i asked who ordered the service i was told it was me and that they have a recording. I asked to hear the recording. They will call me back with the recording. today or tomorrow.

Steve Clarke from yellowpageso.com I recieved the same caller id as scott. His ext is 809. I called and left him a long message from the tv show wipe out. Tis getting old though. Yellowpageso.com is hidden by "Domains by proxy". The business address is listed as 1979 Marcus Ave. suite 210, Lake Success NY 11042. Searching this address shows this to be a virtual business front. The 214-377-5991 number is a VoIP from http://www.vitelity.com/?p=main. Any more info anyone could provide would be appreciated.

Brenda, I think they are a scam too. I'm working at shutting them off. If you have any success contact me at rrtroxell@gmail.com. Thanks. They could not produce a valid invoice. Sent me one with today's date saying it was 90 days over due. The recording played for me did not sound like me at all.

I recieved a call from this phone # also and they said that I owe them money for an add. I know that I never agreed to this but they have my voice recorded saying that I agree. I don't know whay to do?

This is a SCAM!! Don't give your money. They called today and after researching it is a SCAM. I tried calling the number and it has you leave a message and they will call you back.

A man named Steven Clark says we owe over $500 for advertising.  We just paid the real Yellow Pages.  We believe it is a scam.
