Got a letter from them.

Well I got the letter today.
It could have concerned me IF a)it had not been addressed to my EX-husband of 5 years, who happens to live in California, and b)even if it were addressed to the correct person - my mortgage is paid current and so not at risk of foreclosure.
What pathetic Morons!!

Got same letter 3/30/09.If it wasnt for these posts,i might have called.We 4 months behind;working with lender with loan modification,but havent heard from them for 2 months.Thank you everyone for the warning about this scam...

I got that letter today; same story, so I can't offer anything new. I get letters like this all the time. I rip them up and throw them out. Just for the Hell of it, I looked this one up. What a fine, upstanding group of meatheads these people must be.

Maybe I'll write THEM a letter...

Got the same letter dated 2/16/2009, same number, but felt uneasy about it, so I came to look it up and I fould this long list. Thanks to everyone for posting your story.

We just got this letter today 3/12/09 in the mail and like many others it has the same reference # of AFCC-29754-9754-3 and same number 1-877-395-6030 from Jacksonville, FL.  

My husband was just the same way...just called me to work to tell me to call these people.  We been behind just by a couple of days so he thought that would qualify us but yet again we're not on foreclosure, thank God.

The only advise that I have if you are in foreclosure contact your lender first do not avoid those calls. Talk to them, I know my lender when my husband was injured, we were able to pay on a bi-weekly basis until the next month we got back on track. Usually well, according to my lender, they will not foreclose on 1 to a 3 month note. They typically have programs that will help you avoid foreclosure. Also, look to your county or city, they might also have programs to help you in this situation. Some counties provide assistance for "weatherization" or "bill payment assistance".

We receive the same letter and the same eligibility # of other. This is a fraude, Cape Coral, Fl.

Just like Tina from Michigan, my husband wanted the same thing. You know how it is...desperates husbands from "Desperates Homeowners of America" I receive the letter  today 3-11-09...date of notification 2-16-09.. and my eligability # AFCC 29754-9754-3 ...to process before 3-16-09. Thank you all for this info.

got the same letter dated 2-16-09 and had the eligibility AFCC-29754-9754-3 which is the same number as everyone else I live in ohio and I am 2mths behind in my mortage so everyone stay away if you have a problem making pymnts call your bank and fill out that long thing that tells how much you make and ask for help with your state I am doing that now. Hey I look at it this way there are people living in this state who have 5 kids by 5 diffirent guys and don't work and live off the system then there are ppl living here that have come from other countrys and don't work and live off the system!!!!! It is time we do the same until work starts up for my husband I am going to keep working my a** off but I am going to get help I earned it as I am sure all the rest of you have dont be afarid I was at first but hell I have been paying for it I should use when I need it then get off it when I don't need it. That is what it is really for. !!!

I recv the same letter 3/2/09 with date of 2/16/09 with the same Eligibility code and Hope person locally and my gut told me the same thing SCAM!!!!! so i too looked them up and tried to call with the same issues... eternal hold but decided not to waste anymore time with this unfortunately my mortgage is with TBW and yes they are BUZZARDS. My prayer is for anyone who receives any info from this company to ignore and directly contact your mortgage co.Good Luck!

I got the "letter".  Just gut instinct made me look it up....appears another bottom feeder with a bulk mail permit is at it again...

I got this letter today which is 3/02, and its dated 2/16... Shamed to say we are a little behind on our house payments... If im correct this # is tied into our Mortgage company which is Taylor Bean and Whitaker in Fl.... This mortage company is a pain in itself... We get letters to contact them and the # they give is to a phone that you will sit on hold for hours waiting hopefully to get someone... I tried for 15 days straight to get someone at that # and was on hold an average 2 hrs or more and still never talked to anyone... I have looked up complaints about them and its all the same... Almost each complaint states that you cant get anyone, your on hold, and my two best is that they were brought up on mortage fraud and insurance fraud...
My best letter was that I had to send them a certain amount, BUT to call them to varify the amount was correct with no fee's.. Well after 15 days of trying to call them because I was going to send in there money but yet again on hold for hours with no answer... I said enough is enough im sending them the amount they want... My next bill came in and it didnt show that I paid... Finally I got a hold of someone there and they told me they did not except the money I sent that is was not enough...
Now my payments are farther behind... This company is a scam, and are all out to more then what you really owe... If you plan on getting a mortage soon?, beware of TB&W, and there co-companies like the letter everyones getting...

Just called, fee is whatever you mortgage is plus $200. My mortgage is over 3,000 so... that would be a $4,000 fee just to speak with my mortgage company, to present hardship....  I already did that myself.  Beware..

I got the same letter with the same details on it.  I live in GA. and are also current on my payments.  We have a fixed rate of 5% so not really high!  Got to love this economy, and all the turd heads out there to take advantage of those who may be struggling!

We got this letter yesterday my husband brought it to me and wanted me to call and check it out. I wasn't so sure the letter itself doesn't look very proffesional. We live in Michigan and are NOT in foreclosure or even behind on our payments. We do struggle with the high interest rate but we manage. It is a shame that there are people out there that take advantage of hard working people. The number on our letter is 877-395-6030 and my "Eligibility # is hope-22254-9754-3" The same as some of the other letters across the country with the same address 7954 Baymeadows Way Bldg 7 Jacksonville,FL 32256 Thank you for all the input I hope and pray everyone who is struggling finds their relief. I would talk to your mortgage company and try to work with them if not go to your local mortgage broker and see what they can find for you. They have more access to financial institutes and DO NOT charge upfront fees to find a lender willing to WORK FOR YOU. Good Luck every one and God Bless Tina in Michigan
