This company has been calling me and leaving messages for the past 2 months. Originally I called back to see what it was about, and I was on hold for 10 minutes so I hung up. Kept receiving calls. Finally blocked that number. Then yesterday was called by a new number (number above) and got a voicemail that was barely audible but they called me by my first and last name and asked for a call back. Again put on hold, and again blocked this number. Sounds like a scam to me

Received  a call from a woman that identified herself as HEDI she knew my name stated that she was calling from  Monterey Financial Services soon as I confirmed my name she hung up. I called the office back and it stated that the office was closed

Received call saying they needed to speak to one of our employees.  I asked the lady if this was a personal business call, she said yes.  I told her she needed to call the employee at home.  She then stated that it was regarding her (the employee's) furniture and she was returning her call.  I put her on hold and spoke with the employee, she said these people continue to harrass her.  It's a scam.  Left this idiot on hold long enough she finally got the clue and hung up.

Called asking to speak to an employee by name.  Asked if this was a personal business call, said yes.  Told caller she would need to reach the employee at home.  Said she was calling in regards to her furniture.  I spoke with the employee and she said these people continue to harrass her, she does not want them calling her at all.   BEWARE....if it walks like a duck......it's usually SCAM!!!!

what process is your friend using?  A family member has been getting the same 'dance partner'......  we are going to have a lot of fun resolving this.

I received a voice mail saying they were from Monterey and that I was a refrenece for the person they were trying to contact, could I please give this person the message and their call back number.  I haven't talked to the person they were trying to reach in over 15 months.  So no, I don't think I will relay the message.

This Montery company all of a sudden took money out of my account.  I've never received a phone call from these people to even begin to understand how they got my account information.  I am definitely going to use the phone numbers provided to get to the bottom of this BS!!!!!!

These people have harassed me and wasted countless hours of my time, and destroyed my credit over a contract they claim that I signed with "Business Solutions" to build a website. They even provided a link to this "new" website where I found a website that had been 100% copied and pasted from my existing website....word for word, pictures and all. They've based all of this on a contract I supposedly signed via electronic signature. I know NOTHING about this and in fact was in the hospital having my daughter for most of the dates they claim to have corresponded with me. I hate these people.

they called me many times asking for alfredo and it gets really annoying they stoped after a while but it was very annoying not many ppl have my number so it was really odd

Keep getting calls that say I need to return the call immediately. I'm assuming it is regarding the Global Travel International (GTI) scam that unfortunately I signed up for but didn't realize I couldn't cancel. This business is a complete rip-off. I have asked for documentation into what I signed up for and they haven't responded. Stay away from GTI!

This is Montery Financial. They are a financing organization for some sketchy marketing companies including real estate investment gurus, specifically Russ Whitney.  Con-man Russ only wants your money.  Unfortunately I enrolled in one and continue to pay the price.  My advice - Never, Ever sign up for something that sounds that easy to make money.  These so-called gurus sell worthless education that incorporates technics that are a reflection of their morals - corrupt.  My real estate lawyer told me after reviewing the contract examples that they were legal, but barely ethical.  I got a legal real estate license and moved on.

Got 2 calls from this this number as Montery Financial - looking for someone, first name only, sounded urgent. Returned call, said no one here with that name. Am now blocking that number.

They call people to get them to pay for product never bought and purchased with Credit Cards never owned to collect monies to fill there own pockets !!!

Everyone Needs to contact the FCC and make complaints against them. I have dealt with them myself. They have two accounts on my credit report from GE Healthcare Financial which totals almost 11,000. I contacted GE and received a letter from their attorney Michael Toback stating I have never had an account current or past due with them. Toback even called Mr. Lucus at Monterey and left him a message to remove them as the original creditor, he never returned his call which is why they mailed me the letter. I have reported them to the AG office, BBB, and the FTC. I have just sent the letter from GE to them certified mail and if they don't remove the accounts I intend on filing a lawsuit against them.

I have a career and owe no one anything and besides this my credit report is fine, they are a scam! I hope everyone of you file a complaint with the FTC at least they will be the most helpful when they get enough complaints you can be part of a class action lawsuit.

These guys called at least 7-8 times per day. When I asked who they were they said "Monterey Financial" and when I asked what they wanted they told me they couldn't disclose the information unless they verified who I am. I wasn't about to verify who I am because for all I know they are they could be anybody causing some trouble.

I received one today and they've been calling since last Dec 2008.  They said my friend use me as reference; but when I asked her she has no idea who these people are.  I'm filing complaint.  Please see link for form.

Well Monterey Financial is doing bad business they stole from somone I know.  They actually took money from an account when they were not authorized to do so.  They should now be looking for court papers in the mail because this is absolutely outrageous and they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

i love moonterey they are wonderful and have always been nothing but great to me! if you didnt oew the company debt & paid your bills on time you would have a problem! they aren't a scam! (not saying some of the clients arent) be careful for what you sign up online people... it can & will sign you up for other things!

I FOUND OUT THAT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY THAT THIS 1-877-399-6374 NUMBER BELONGS TO NAME IS IDENTITY SWEEP...... I CALLED THIS COMPANY TO FIND OUT WHY THEY ARE TAKEN MONEY OUT MY BANK ACCT... I NEVER SPOKE WITH ANYBODY THEY ASK FOR YOU TO LEAVE A MSG... I DID NO ONE CALLED ME BACK SO I REPORTED THEM TO MY BANKS FRAUD DEPARTMENT ME THEY TRYED TO CONTACT THIS COMPANY A MAN PICKED UP AND SAID THAT HE HAS NO CLUE ABOUT THIS BUSINESS AND HE COULDNT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS..... I FOUND OUT THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY MAKING IT LOOK LIKE THEY MONITOR YOUR CREDIT AND THE TRUTH IS I NEVER GAVE THEM MY INFO TO MY BANK SOME COLLECTION AGENCY DID.. I have not had a phone call from these people. But starting a couple of months back "Monterey Financial Service 877-3996374" started appearing on my Mastercard account with a charge for $40.02. Since I did not recognize the name or the reason I was being charged I tried to call them. After numerous times of trying on many days and only getting a busy signal I finally gave up. I called my Mastercard company to see if they could give me any more information on this business or charge but they were unable to. I instructed them not to pay it. ... Now today I received my Mastercard account for this month. Once again they have put a charge on my card for $40.02!!! This time when I called them I did get some one to answer the phone. When i said I was calling to find out why the charge on my account they asked for my name and address and then asked me to hold. After 5 min's of being left on hold, the phone would hang up! After this happening 3 times I have given up trying to contact them. I highly suggest for everyone reading this to go over your Visa/Mastercard charges each month for any eronious charges like this.

I get those calls about Global Travel.  Global Travel is a complete fraud and rip-off, stay away from this company.   They are all on top of it to get you to sign up, then after you do, you'll never hear from them again.  They say you are a travel agent, what a joke.
