They got me a good job!

They called me twice but i never picked up. I tried *67 to call them back and it said that their inbox was full. im glad i checked this website to find out what the hell this is all about.  how did they get all of our numbers?

They have called us saying they had tried to deliver a package for us. When we told them that we had been home all day, they hung up.Then they have called saying they had a job application for my husband, who is disabled and cannot work. I asked them to remove our number from their records, as this was not legitimate. Today, they called our landlord asking for a work reference for my husband. These people are either looking for personal info for ID theft, skip tracing or are casing houses to find out when people are and are not home.

They called me a couple of weeks ago and said they were from Macy's and trying to deliver a package to me. they tried to verify my address and the address they had was my ex husbands in (CO) and they said my father had tried to send me a Mother's day package from Macy's. When they said that I KNEW it was a scam...BUT, my mom (in AZ) JUST called me to tell me that she just got a call from someone for a job reference and she gave them an excellent reference (lol) and they asked her where I worked and luckily she didn't remember the name of the company but they said they were going to send me an employment package. She gave me the number from the caller id and it led me to you guys :/  I think definitely a scam or collections.

Got a call saying they tried to deliver a package, but no one was home.  They had my address and my phone number but did not have my name, used a different name a Mr. Pedeus.

At the same time my bank calls stating someone is trying to fraudulently transfer money but did not have my password.  They are phishing for information to tell the bank, passwords, employment info, address, pin numbers... These individuals need to be strung up!

I got a call again from the same number, this time they named their company United Loans & Leasing.  They wanted to verify where I work.

It is definitely a scam.

They also called me this afternoon saying that they had a package for me and that no one was home. She said that the package was paid for and that she needed to unlock the security question "who is your employer?" to release the package.

I just had the same thing happen to me, did you find out if it was a collection agency or identity theft scam?

Got a message from 877-402-0893.  Message said I have a package from Macy's and left a tracking number and 866-235-7513 as the callback number.  When called, asked me for my current address and wanted an answer to a security question.  They had my name and previous address from 4 years ago.  The callback number greeting says "Best Courier Company in America".

To the first guy...watch it because it might be a collection agent. My partner does that job and if they are trying to find out where you work and stuff they might be coming after you for money. And depending who this sarah is she couldve even been the one calling who knows.

greetings! just to let all of you know... this is a scam to get info to collect a debt.. they are scary. Dont answer it again and do not supply info regarding the person theyre asking for.

Called and hung up with no message

Left a message.  Said they were from AEG Express Delivery and they had a package for us.  We have not ordered anything from a company that would use that service.  Could be a collection agency or a company that serves papers.
