Received a postcard notifcation of annuity that may have reached the end of its surrender period and asking me to call this number to "discuss options". Confident this is the way for a company to sell you into something else. Recommend you DO NOT REPLY.

July 13,2013 // Got this card from my brother.I had my mail forwarded to his address 6 years ago,and 5 years ago had my mail redirected elsewhere. So this Scheduling Department is behind in their researching people.Dont know who they are.Dont care.As everyone else ere has said,I believe it to be a scam.I ignored them.As the others, the number on the card was (877) 403-6318

My card is white. Does that mean I'm really gonna get the money? I think I'll call and have a good time with these scammers. Maybe I can steal their cash. I hope they don't read this. I'm really not Mike from CT. Really.

Thank you all for the info, into the shredder, love the internet

I received same card the with the same number had printed "Presorted First Class" in the upper right corner no stamp. Did not bother to call. Found this site on internet. If people take their God given brains and time to use on productive actions, instead of trying to steal from others this world would be a much better place and people would have the experience of being able to 'trust' others. I curse and come against anything the devil is trying to do to create chaos in the beautiful world God created!

I got a card with this number today. The only address on the card is the "stamp" area: Medina OH Permit 66
I haven't called, and after reading the messages here I won't. Thanks for the warning!

The woman was very professional-sounding. Was really interested in my annuities! Wonder what they will think when they disover the info I gave them was a bogus as they are??
DO NOT GIVE ANYONE PERSONAL/PRIVATE INFO - THEY CAN ROB YOU BLIND.

I recieved a yellow postcard in the mail the other day and read both sides of the postcard. Hmmm? I thought to myself it was kinda strange not to mentioned the name of the Company? Just the same i called my bank advisor about it and photo the both sides of the postcard to him. Well he called up the number and spoken to someone there finding out from my bank advisor that its a ploy marketer and not to be bothered. In the mean time i went into the internet to check up on the phone number finding out to what it stated it s a SCAM I was right it was a Scam ani am smarter than they were. So if anyone gets something in the mail that doesn t seem right you need to tell someone .

Got a yellow card, for my father, lucky I handle all of his finances information, strange card, no company name, only says Scheduling Services. Comes from Medina, OH Permit 66.
I decided to the number - held on hold for 6 minutes, very curious, when they answered I asked the company name they quickly hurried past that, then stated his agent hired a third party to handle the review process of his investments and annuities. They knew who my father banks with and they knew he got monthly statements. They wanted to have some guy to come to my home, his name: Steve Adams.
A few things, I know the agent at our bank very well, and when states they are power of attorney as I am, many questions are asked to verified - their answer: Oh Great, Good!

Received a strangely printed yellow card today requesting that I call "our Scheduling Department to discuss your options." It arrived in the mails as a "presorted first class" from Median OH, Permit 66.
Would like to ....
Well never mind ... as I am just going to rip the card up.

Yes, it is against Federal Postal Regulations to put anything not related to the sending or receiving of mail in the mail box

Wife received same card the other day...with the same number......BUT this one had printed "Presorted First Class" in the upper right corner...where the stamp would go. Did not bother to call...as ANY legit business/company will have its name etc. all over it. They are just a bunch of scum suckers hoping you'll be a dumb a*** and give them the info they want.
Me 2013-05-16 04:45:54 Unknown
I got the same yellow post card. It is not legit, do not give them any information. I called the number and got high pressure tactics for giving them my info. Thankfully a couple of older neighbors in my area asked me if they should call the number and I told them don't bother. If it was a legit offer or something about an insurance policy that matured, you would get an envelope - not a post card - from the insurance company or whomever has the policy.

You purchase the annuity contract with a large sum of money up front, usually what you've accumulated toward retirement, then the company pays you monthly payments from it throughout your retirement.
Card Recipient 2013-05-04 22:50:31 Unknown
I got it too. I thought it was strange that there is no company name on it -- only Scheduling Department. I also thought it was strange that I am told that I "may have an annuity that has reached the end of its surrender period." I have never purchased any annuity, so don't expect to be getting anything in the mail about an annuity.

Received the same card with no return address and phone #(877) 403-6319 (almost the same as on the others). Mine was addressed to me OR CURRENT RESIDENT so it really wasn't for me at all - just phishing for info. I'm tossing it.

I got one of their postcards in the mail here in southern CA. The card showed a CA insurance sales license number. I looked it up and got a bunch of info here:
http://interactive.web.insurance.ca.gov/webus ... LIC_NBR=0B27109
License#: 0B27109
Name: DE RUOSI TIFFANY ANN License#: 0B27109
Resident Insurance Producer
Business Address: 2828 S. BAYWATER AVENUE #1 SAN PEDRO, CA 90731
Other searches show a residence in Newport Beach, CA 92660.
So, basically, I guess it's someone trying to sell insurance.
I think the toll-free number is in NJ, but not sure.

I got the same card - same telephone # and I called after business hours --one good clue is they don't even give a company name on their answering machine. Definately some kind of scam and a piece of garbage that has no other worth but to go in the shredder.

I Received a Card In The Mail. Clean as a Whistle. Somebody put this in my Mailbox. Is this Illegal. The minute I saw it I Knew it a Scamp. Never give out info to anybody.

I got a mass-mailing postcard with this number, claiming to have info about an "orphaned" annuity insurance account, whatever that it. The return address is Zia Shaik, 4400 Route 9 Suite 1000, Freehold NJ 07728, which could be a mail drop.
Dennis 2011-06-06 21:04:22 Unknown
I got one too....wondering if it is a scam.
Muffles16 2011-06-06 21:04:22 Unknown
I've gotten the same postcard in Mid-December, central NJ. Assume it's a scam of some sort.
Ginger 2011-06-06 21:04:22 Unknown
I received a postcard referencing the same telephone number. This one was "to inform you that you may have an annuity that has reached the end of its surrender period". I smell a rat. It's headed for the shredder.
