You know..in Florida we get millions of phone calls selling or scamming or beggin' for cash a DAY ..EVERYDAY  ..ALL DAY.. and NIGHT long did I mention?! Yes folks the economy is in the toilet, everyone is broke..or below broke but geez- get a life elsewhere and NOT on my phone line, Aye?  Oh yes and if you are an anonymus "automated entity", be like E.T. and phone HOME- just not MINE Ok?!

I have repeatedly gotten calls from this number.  Normally I just ignor it. However today, I answered the call and the man hung up when he realized he had a real person seaking.  I called back and was connected to someone who did not speak English!

THIS IS CREDIT SERVICES AND THEY BUY 3RD PARTY COLLECTION ACCOUNTS

They are calling constantly trying to collect a bill from some mail order company.  I told them to take a hike. I order stuff all the time and pay. However, not all my order was with an ltd order so I only paid for what I got. Now ltd wont credit the missed order and this company won't go away. needless to say im sticking it out. Im not paying for something I never got.

No answer when I picked up the phone, I called them back and asked what the nature of the business was.  Answer was credit.  I asked them to elaborate but she refused.  Instead she wanted my name to enter it into her computer.  Like hell I was going to give out my information without even knowing who this company was!  Having read all of the other complaints, I'm so glad I didn't give out my info.  We don't owe and NEVER have owed any money to any of the types of industries they collect for (shown on their website) so unless this is some type of scam they have no reason to call me.

Keeps asking for Linda. Wouldn't say where he was calling from until about the 10th call. Says Van Ru and it is imperative he speaks with Linda, hung up on him again.

They do not leave a message on my home phone, but somehow retrieved my cell number and leave pre-recorded messages there.  These calls come in daily, on both cell and home phone; sometimes 4 & 5 time a day.

After recieving calls daily for weeks and not answering them I decided to call this number back. Said they were a collection agency and that I owed for something ordered through a mail order. When I questioned further, they said that maybe someone had stolen my identity and that they would transfer me to someone else and mark that the collection was in process. I said no you won't transfer me and no you won't collect anything because I don't owe anything. I then told him to not call again and he said he wouuld take my name off the list.

Calls from 877-405-3189 have been coming into my cell phone for WEEKS!   Several times a day everyday! I have told them repeatedly they have the wrong number.  I finally told them today to take me off thier no call list (Per state and fed law) and the woman was a b*Tch!  She said she will still call me unless I give her my personal information!  WTF?  NO WAY!  I asked for her supervisor and she went silent.  I continued to ask and she hung up on me.  Scum of the earth collectors.  I am a former collector and know the laws.  I did advise her that I would be turning thier company into the Attorney General for  refusing to follow the law.  Don't know who they are looking for but it's not me!  Even if it were me once I tell them to not call me they 'by law' are not allowed to contact me!

This collection company (Van Rue) has been calling me at least on a weekly basis. They have told me they are trying to collect a dept for 2002 for a person (and gave my dead husbands name who died in early 2001) When I finally talked to an operator and very angrily informed him that that was not mine or my husbands bill ( I had left the state shortly after my husbands death) he told me he would take my name off the list and no longer bother me. I got home today to discover another call from Van Rue and upon calling them was told that I had to send them a copy of my husbands death certificate. Needless to say I got their address in Skokie Illinois and am in the process of sending a stop letter.

Called looking for someone that doesn't exist, unless they bought a debt from 300+ years ago. Left a message claiming that if I listen to it or record it, I acknowledge I am who they are looking for. Used a voice synthesizer or something, it's incredibly difficult to understand what the robot voices are saying.

These lowlifes have garnished my wages for a debt to the Dept of Education ( which i supposedly had in forbearance until 2009) They are just liars-plain and simple! They've claimed to have made arrangements with me in the past that i haven't followed through on (not true...i've only hung up on these people) They've garnished my wages (again without ANY prior warning!) and now they have gotten the IRS to remit my tax refund to them--even though they're garnishing my wages! My lawyer is looking into the legality of what they've done and hopefully i can file suit for more than i owe!

Take my advice, if these losers are calling you GET IT TAKEN CARE OF ASAP! They don't care whether they're right or not, they will make your life a living hell!

These people called my house about every ten minutes for about 4 hours. I refuse to answer the phone because I do not know the number and they never left a message on my machine. Then the next morning they called again and again. Now that I know what is going on I will make sure to never anwser the phone when I see that number. what a bunch of jerks.

They've been erroneously calling me for few week, they claim we owe them money, but can not identified what credit card was charged, included wrong all informations with my first name, wrong last name, wrong my address and can not tell when I was purchase the item, this is including they provided me the wrong city that I have never visit, the ways they responsed to my questions are very inconsistend, all they did was attempt to get my personal information; such as my name and my address.  I never provide it, they keep calling me in the evenning time, but they hang up when I answered the phone because I'm a man, when some woman answer the phone they persue personal information.
The caller spoke broken english with strong accent.

Called and said if you're not .... hang up. By continuing to listen you admit you are .... This is a attempt to collect a debt etc. I've listened and sometimes they give the number 1 million 800 then the call ends. If you count is 1 digit too short and other times they get out 1-87 and the call ends. Not the brightest people around. Personally I just ignore them. The only reason I know who and what they are is from other postings here.

Here is another gem in the pile of debt collection trash. They collect on student loans and other accounts. The collectors are not the smartest in the business, nor can they be trusted to tell the truth. I would rate this in the sleaze category and use the cease communication letter on them.
NEVER give them any information on your bank/credit accounts, or post-dated checks. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Trying to collect on a Credit Card we do not possess.  Asked for a middle name which, was not valid, and then apologized for their mistake.

They leave messages asking to call 1-000-000 The name of the collectors is "Van Ru Collection Agency"
