I received a call from Johnny Midas stating he had questions about my credit card processing and to please call back. As I was in the process of obtaining a new credit card processor, I thought it was in referrence to my application. After calling back and leaving a message and not hearing back for a few days, I called my contact person at the processing company and said that no one from the company had called, that this Johnny guy was not affiliated with them. This Johnny called from number 602-224-8822.

We also received a call from someone who identified themselves as Nathan Shackelton (ext 8884) with PPS (Principle Payment Solutions) regarding our merchant account – we don’t have a merchant account with PPS.  After finding this web site, I did not return the call and forwarded the actual voice message to our true cc processing company to report the incident.

I am in the credit card processing business. These people are harassing me and my employees. There are putting in false information on our web site pretending to be interesting in getting set up. This has been going on for a year. Then when the reps do follow up calls; all this Principle Payment Solutions is trying to do is waste our time, and get inside information. Our rates will beat anyone and they are pissed off so they do this. Somehow the have a fake caller ID too. They even have fake web sites to make us actually think they our customers and the reps waste time helping them! It is utterly incredible the lengths they are going through to harrass us!
When I got a call today the Caller ID said AIM HIRE STAFF, when I did a search on the number Principle Payment Solutions showed up on the internet on the RIP OFF REPORT, and this site.
The rude lady who called today had beep bop music in the background blasting, and was asking to speak with the owner.
When I track there IP Address on my web site activity, I will sue them for harassment.

I got a call from "Jay" at Principle Payment Solutions - saying he could offer our company a wholesale rate for our Visa and Mastercard transactions - he said we had "qualified" for this customized rate and asked that their representative "Cory Kenworthy" have a visit with us in our office. He then said we would need to have access to three months of our transaction reports for this meeting.  Jay said their company gets paid by the bank.  When I asked about their website address - he fumbled and gave me two addresses - and said something like "things had changed recently"..or some other B.S.  He obviously didn't know even if there was a website.

Then a guy names James came on after much conversation with Jay and he said he was the "Floor Manager" - but hhen I asked for his phone number/extension - he gave me the same extention as Jay had given me.  I did call back the phone number and extention he gave me and it did answer as "Principle Payment Solutions"  The phone number they gave was: 1-877-407-2621.  I do believe this was a scam...I would warn anyone and everyone NOT to give any proprietary information to these people.

I was called by "Principle Payment Solution" several times over a few month time period. They stated more than once that if I was processing between $6000-$10,000 a month, they could save me money. I set up an appointment, to meet with Jake. He called me back the day of the appointment, and stated that I didn't qualify, as the amount was $100,000.00 a month. I told him that was 10 times what I had been told, and questioned how he knew what I processed because I had not supplied any information yet. He stated that my bank had sent him information. I had not authorized any information be released from my bank. Also at one point on the phone they tried to tell me that they had done business with the prior owner, but the name he gave me is my business partner, and the prior owner used the same merchant service company that we use.

These people and others like them call me every Monday. Today I got a call and told them no, they called back and I told them no louder. Finally the supervisor called again and I explained their whole pitch about the so called wholesale rate when I actually give a discount for not using credit cards. Then he hung up on me. I received calls and was intrigued as I usually always am by people who claim they can save me money -- who doesn't want that? I signed up with them and was pleased with the savings, however, the account executive did lie to get me to sign up. Needless to say he is no longer with the company and I have yet to resolve my disputes with them. The savings are worth the minor misrepresentation. BUT it was a reminder to me that if I have questions, no matter how small, to get them in writing. Also, be wary of businesses operating in states with little regulation such as Arizona and Florida as they are likely at best not inclined to be honest or at worst a complete scam.

Same story as all the others.  Some guy called with a wholesale offer to process my merchant account credit cards, wanted to verify all sorts of information about my company, I told him I wasn't interested and to take me off his list.  He called back after I hung up on him. Annoying and I think probably dishonest.

I just received a call from them too... they were extremly rude to me and wanted to speak to my boss... I make the decision on credit card merchants, not my boss.  I sent him to my boss who then sent him back to me.  I got all of their information and told them I would check THEM out... Needless to say, they're scammers... be aware!

I got the same call, from Principal Payment Solutions, from a Megan saying to give her a call regarding my business VISA.  I smelled a rat and googled the number, lo and behold found out that the company is a phishing site.  I reported it to the FBI through a neighbor who is a federal officer.  They are going to try and set up a sting.  I'm going to Phoenix next week.  I may stop by the address myself and see if I can find a person to answer for this fraud.  Someone tried to rip off my son with a scam like this so I caught it before they got to me.  It will be fun seeing the look on their face when I go into their address at: 2398 E Camelback Rd, Ste 850
Phoenix, AZ 85016-9007.  Can't wait..........

I had a guy who identified himself as "Jay" from "Principal Payment Solutions" saying that we have qualified for a lower rate on our merchant account. When I asked how he obtained our merchant account information and who was our merchant provider he abruptly hung up.

Doing a reverse lookup I found this:

Similar to above - Carlos was his name from Principal Payment Solutions. Also used the "some aspects of your merchant account" line - suspicious that he didn't even mention the company name. Phone number was same as above, x8866. Figured I'd call him back for the "challenge" but he wasn't at his phone.

Received a phone call from a guy who said his name was Robert Rogers from Principal Payment Solutions. He left a voice mail message saying that he wanted to discuss "some aspects" of our merchant account.  He left this phone number (877-407-2621 ext 8811 for a return call.  It appears this is an NPMG scam operating under another name.  I did not call him back.

Just got off the phone with these pushers as well. I politely said no thanks, then hung up on them once the Supervisor got on the phone and challenged me on whether or not I was qualified to make decisions.

Said she was calling from the National Processing Management Group and asked for someone who doesn;t work here. I told her that and she wanted to speak to who took her place, finally asking to speak to the owner. When I explained that the only way to speak to the owner was to leave a message for him to call, she left her name (Lisa) and the message was that we were up for wholesale review because we were doing so well it looked like we qualified for wholesale rates. Whatever. I filed her message in the trash and won't bother the owner!
