Has broke at least five of the laws in the faird dept collection act.

just filed a complaint with both the FTC and the Kansas Attorney General's Office.

Mark Morales made several calls today to me, my son, my mother and my former employer leaving details of his alleged claim against me.

I returned his call only to hear his foul language and threats to take my personal belongings and then have him hang up on me.  I called back for a supervisor and that person did much of the same.

The people at Russell, Reynolds & Ingram are NOT attorneys, nor do they have a legitimate legal department.  They do pull your credit report to see what assets you have and what other bills you have not paid and they will reveal all the little details.  They don't care to hear both sides of the story, they just want money and they will do or say anything to accomplish their goal.

If they have called you and harrassed or threatened you in any way, shape or form.  You need to file a complaint with the FTC and the AG's office.  Don't just let them slide by.  This company has already received one court order against them by the FTC.

I will also more than likely seek out an attorney to file against them for damages.  I haven't checked yet to see if there is another class action lawsuit against them.  Please don't let these types of people to get away with what they do.  Water may roll off your back, but think of other defenseless one's who may not be as strong, like the elderly or sick.

I for one, am tired of debt collectors not being regulated by the government.  I was a victim of ID theft over ten years ago and that still haunts me to this very day.  It's unrelated to this case but I still have debt collectors calling me about those debts that had police reports filed on them and were closed seeking additional payment.  When I tell them about the reports they want a copy.  Police departments normally don't hang onto these records that long and if they do, place them in cold storage.  Yet I still have to deal with removing them from my credit bureaus on a regular basis.  Anyone can place a claim on your credit report, they don't have to have proof.  It's about time that stops.

I received a letter in the mail from this "company". The address on the outside of the envelope had a completely different address and state than what was listed on the inside for their address. It stated for me to call Mr. Lambert. I called and asked for this person and they put me on hold. When they took me off hold, the guy asked me for a series of numbers that were printed above my name, which I gave him. I was put on hold again and then was told that this "new" guys' name was Robert Martinez. It was the same guy, same voice as before. This letter was in reference to a debt that I and an ex boyfriend incurred as a result of terminating a rental lease a couple of months early. I had filed bankruptcy and included this debt in it. I told Mr. Martinez that I had filed and he said he knows I filed but this was not on it and I told him it was. He argued with me saying no it wasn't a couple different times, even saying that he had a copy of my bankruptcy in front of him. I stood my ground because I know for a fact that it was included in it. He finally said that I can tell it to the judge and hung up on me. I looked this company up online through the Better Business Bureau of Georgia and they are rated "F", which is the lowest rating a business can have. This debt is also almost 6 years old and the statute of limitations ran out after 5 years. If they continue trying to contact me, I'm going to contact the BBB of Georgia, Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Attorney Generals Office. That is what information I found out that I can pass along to you. They cannot threaten you in any way, such as to send people out to get you, put you in jail, etc. That is against the Fair Debt Collection Practices. I don't know if it is helpful, but it's a place to start. I do know that they are listed as a collection agency and this is what it says on several sites that they are a member of: "We are a national debt collection company providing collection services for thousands of clients across the country. We are bilingual and operate within all state and federal guidelines. We utilize the latest collection, credit reporting and skip tracing technology to achieve recovery rates significantly higher than the national average."

I just received the same series of phone conversations from Brian Brooks first, who passed himself off as a lawyer for this lawfirm, trying to locate my ex-wife due to a "lawsuit", screamed, threatened me and hung up, AFTER verifying that I was not even on the contract. Then I called to complain and asked for a supervisor and got Dave Clark, who was worse that Brian Brooks. He called me Stupid, Assinine and said if I was talking, I was lying. Then he hung up. I tried a third call to HIS supervisor and got Dave Clark again, who did the same thing again and said he will not let me waste any more of their time. Any recommendations on what to do?

PLEASE file complaints with the FTC, BBB and Attorney General's office in Georgia as I have done!  If enough of us file complaints, I can only hope that one or all of these agencies will do what they can to put a stop to it.  These people are very unprofessional and have violated every fair debt collection law out there.  They have continued to call my home and my ex-husband's home daily making threats against our son.  I assume that they think that if they bully us enough, that we will cave and pay his debt for him.  They are verbally abusive and threatening and it is beyond me how this has been allowed to continue and they have remained in business.  I work in a similar field and if the collection agency representing my company spoke to our debtors this way, they would be fired faster than they could think.  It's one thing to try to collect an unpaid bill, it's an entirely different matter when they are threatening  people the way that they do.

I received a call from a Mr. Brooks from this same agency, Russell, Reynolds, and Ingram. The call showed up as unknown caller so I let the machine get it. When I called back he said he was representing an ambulance company for an unpaid bill where they transported my husband from one hospital to another. The problem is my husband was never in the ambulance or a the hospital on the date in question. when I tried to tell him that he was mistaken this Brooks man became very nasty and hung up on me. I then called back and spoke with another man and tired to tell them theyhad the wrong person he was even more rude and hung up on me also. What can I do about this? Is this a scam? Mr. Brooks stated that he was going to have a judgement put against my husband and that we could tell are sorry story to the court. Any Help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

On 7/1/2010 we were contacted by Mr. Brian Brooks of this organization our of Atlanta/. He was attempting to locate and speak with my son, Mr. Adam T. Sparks. He indicated he was a lawyer and wanted to serve him with a lawsuit for the collection of an unpaid debt. The debt was apparently for a gym membership incurred in Huntsville by a Mr. Adam W. Sparks.  We understand the similarity in names and appreciate the fact that these people are paid to collect debts, which my lend itself to some unpleasant circumstance.

Mr. Brooks then contacted my son at his office. He advised him that he was going to serve him with a lawsuit in front of his co workers and make certain he was publically embarrassed by all of this.

I called Mr. Brooks back and attempted to explain that he had the wrong Adam Sparks. I asked if he was a lawyer. He indicated he was not and claimed did not state that fact to my wife. The conversation deteriorated as I attempted to explain that he had the wrong person. His position was simply it was ok to threatened us because if we were not the right people we had nothing to be concerned about. I objected to that. Why would should my family be forced to endure his thuggish threats when he simply has identified the wrong individual. I ask for his supervisor so that I could elevate my concerns. He indicated he did not care. I hung up.

I called back and was connected to a Mr. David Clark. He called me a liar, stated if "I was talking, I was lying".  He then hung up.

I called back later to obtain the correct address for the operation.  Mr. Brooks stated he did have the wrong person and the issue was over.

We object to the false representation that he was an attorney. We object to being verbally abused and treated unprofessionally via the telephone. We object to their tactic that it is ok to threaten consumers and if the consumer has done nothing wrong, they then have nothing to worry about

My son received a call from a Mr. Perez from this company this morning at 5:45 am.  He threatened taking all of my sons assets and any assets that his girlfriend or my husband and I had if we couldn't provide receipts proving who purchased what in our home.  I was furious!  My son is 25 years old and has recently had to move back home with his family as he was unable to find work for over a year.  For these people to call my home and threaten me is unbelievable.  We will be filing complaints with the FTC, AG's office and BBB.  This should not be allowed and clearly these folks need to be stopped.  I can't imagine why nothing has been done by now!

I was recently contacted by this company no name given. The man I originally spoke with started out rude right off the bat then proceeded to tell me to call his boss and hung up on me. Then I called back and asked me to go and take out a loan with check into cash to pay them and then threatened me with taking all my possessions including my car and then hung up on me again. He has since called and left threatening messages. I found you on the web site trying to reverse the phone number to find the company so I could send them a payment.

These collection people keep calling me about a company I used to work for until Oct. of 2009. I explained that I no longer have any affiliation with the company they are trying to contact. Jose Perez threatened to keep calling me because my personal cell phone number was listed along with the corporate number unless I help him get in contact with them. When I tried to find out who they repesent to figure out why they have my cell number Mr. Perez got very rude and threatened to keep calling me at all hours. Mr. Perez claims he has called corporate but claims they won't return his calls(gee I wonder why). If they continue to harass me I will also file a claim with the FTC!

Russell, Reynolds & Ingram called a few weeks back, left info for the neighbor to contact them.  I gave info to the neighbor (apparently he didn't return the call).  They called again last night wanting to leave another message.  I said I wasn't his babysitter and to remove my number.  Man says, my number was given as reference.  Man asked what is neighbors number, I said I don't have a clue.  Man says, you'll have a clue when I send the authorities.  So, I said to send them... he hung up on me!
Can you believe the nerve!  I filed an FTC complaint!

This number belongs to Russell Reynolds and Ingram. Mark Morales is the one you would probably speak with. He is hateful and threatening and does not hesitate to hang up on you if he does not like what you are saying. He threatened my daughter with prison over an old american payroll advance that she couldn't pay totally when she lost her job.

This number was some kind of collection agency looking for someone else. Would not let me talk and continued to hang up on me. They were looking for someone with the same name as mine, (1st marriage), and said something about owing someone $950, for what I don't know.
