I pretty much get the same as all of the above..it is always "Hi, this is Timothy, please press 1 to receive an important message" or please call me at 1-888..I don't know the rest of that number. Calls come in early, late, weekends. When I call back it I get the same crap as all of the above too.. Timothy can stick it!

Never received a call from these folks (well, not that I know of), but I found a debit to my acct on 4/23 for $9.75.  Closed the bank account and started an investigation with my credit union.  Anyone have any luck finding out who these people are?  What else can I do about this?

My checking acount has actually been debited by a company called "search group". The phone number listed on the transaction is 877-415-4224. I called the number and got a recording that says "noone is available to take your call at this time, please leave a message". I am extrmely concerned about this!

These people call either with a recording with an "important call" or someone will ask for the owner. I ask if I may take a message but they will not tell me anything about why they are calling or leave a message. These calls happen almost everyday. VERY ANNOYING!!!

I just got a call from this number. It was an automated voice that spoke way too fast. She had an account number and said I had to call. I wasn't able to get the account number written down, but I managed to get the phone number. After being on hold for quite a while, they asked for my Social Security number so they could "look me up". No thanks. They couldn't look me up any other way so I said "thanks" and hung up.

THIS IS A BIG SCAM. LOOK OUT!!! I FINALLY GOT THEM OFF MY BACK. THEY SAID THIS WAS A BUSINESS CALL SO I ASAKED FOR HIS FULL NAME, HOME PHONE NO. AND ADDRESS. I KEPT GIVING HIM A HARD TIME UNTIL I FINALLY TOLD THE JERK THAT THIS WAS A SCAM THAT WE NEVER RECEIVED A BILL FROM PENNYS OR HIS PHONY COLLECTION AGENCY . AND FINALLY TOLD HIM TO GO AND GET F****D. I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM THOSE A*SHOLES SINCE.

No message on answering machine, continually calling.

Strange, just called at 8:30 PM and salsa music started playing. I stayed on the line for a couple minutes, the music continued but no one came on the line, so I hung up.

A number of my relatives have recieved phone calls from 1. The name of the company that they are using is Arrow. My relatives said they were trying to get information from them like my phone number, address,date of birth and anything else they could. They said that the call was about my sister. They said to have me call them back, they even left a reference number for me to use when I called. When I called the number back it rang twice and then went dead. I also belive that this is a bogus company.

Call received from this number today. No message. When I called back, I received a message that it was Fifth Third Bank, whom I have gone numerous rounds with over the past couple of months about frequent calls when I have never had an account with them. I want the calls to stop, but they just keep calling and calling.

Called 10:11 am to my cell phone. Caller ID showed "No Name" It sounded like a pitch for some fake charity.

call this morning. left no voice mail so I guessing its not important. this is not the first time they have called I am sure it won't be the last. thank goodness I have these posts to read so I no its nothing that I should worry about.

It will be great if the owner of this phone get their phone books and shoved where it fits bes., I am very tired of this phone calls at all times of the day, and the manner of this call, this is a problem in which government should take manner into their hands and stop all this nonsense. Use our tax money into something useful like fixing problems as this one, etc.. not on other projects that have no use for our country in any way. Someone please stop this madness. It will be appreciate greatly.

I received a call similar to the one's above. I called but received a voicemail. Does any one know what this is about?

This number 1 calls my house everyday at least 2-4 times. I tried a reverse search by number but it turned up nothing. If it does not stop I will file harrassment charges and sue. I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!

I also receive an Automated message indicating i should call them back. I have no outstanding deby, so i have never called. Very Odd :-(

Blake Carver Rice has automatic telephone dialer. It seems machine can jump 'line/line'. AS roll over lines open up = 202/561/etc. BCR/Univerisal Systems/Allied Interstate seem tied through BCRice patent. Check Minnesota County Tax Assessors in/around Mpls MN, Eden Prairie MN and Victoria MN. Rice/Lewis it appears are tied into Allied Interstate. Probably Rice's SIL (son-in-law) Joel Dennis Lewis. Collection Agency representing Cash Money. Will call 3 times a day for a month or so and then go away for 3 or 4 months until file is reassigned.

Receive at least two call a day from this number. No caller ID only number displaying. They do not leave message. Have never conducted business with bill me later. They called today at 7:30 am.

They have called every half hour since 7:30 this morning. I don't answer. How do I get them to stop???

It's Discover Card collections. Their system is bizarre - when you pick up, you hear a message that repeatedly says "please hold for an important message." They make you wait on hold until they get around to putting someone on the phone. If it goes to voice mail, you will hear a confused representative saying "Hello? Hello?" Do yourself a favor and use your call block feature, if you have it, to block this number. It's *60. You can also tell them not to call you any more, and under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, they have to comply.

I got a call from Mr. Ross who told me he was going to garnish my wages if I didn't pay. I asked him to not call my work anymore and was willing to give him my home number and he refused. What can I do? He told me that he was going to call my supervisor and garnish my wages, can they do this?

I AGREE! Do not pay ant money to this AGENCY.

Have a bill of $9.85 posted to my credit card account from SEARCH GROUP 877-415-4224.  Have no idea why I am being billed for this.  Call that number but it has been disconnected.

These people called me at home looking for my grandparents who died in the 1990s and never lived at the address I live at. They refused to look up the information on Accurint which is a database that is just as good as1-800-USSearch.com. Those companies get their information from magazine companies and places like that. Kinda hard to collect from people who are dead and only lived in this country for a few years and had no credit or jobs. They were in their late 80s and 90s when they came here and then died. Total rip off pack of liars.
