1-877-415-9258. When you call back, it says Wells Fargo and gives you an option to put your number on a no call list. Bull. I called Wells Fargo a hundred times. They won't confirm either way whether it's them or not. They claim it might be a scam. I finally filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry, which is essentially the Attorney General's Office.

CALLER CALLS EVERY DAY,WHEN NUMBER CALLED BACK THEY DON'T ANSWER. MY WIFE SAID THEY WERE FROM WELLS FARGO ALSO.HOWEVER, THEY KEEP CALLING BACK AFTER THEY WERE TOLD WE WERE NOT INTERESTED AND TO TAKE US OFF THE CALL LIST.

First, the reason there's no answer when you pick up the phone is because these jerks are using a system where they call several numbers at the same time. So chances are they are talking to someone else while you are picking up the phone. This may happen a hundred times before you get a live person. So that's why. If you call the nubmer back, it claims to be Wells Fargo and gives you an option to have your # removed. I've tried that. They're still calling, as late as 9 p.m. And yes, being on the Do Not Call list, means nothing. So, the only way is to bring a class actin lawsuit against these jerks. First, we have to figure out if this is in fact Wells Fargo. But since I called Wells Fargo and they would neither deny nor confirm it, I'd say we should include them in the lawsuit. Believe it or not, I'm looking into this. I will check back later. You should do the same.

they said they were from wells fargo but it's not wells fargo calling. they keep calling my mothers home phone number for me which wells fargo never had to begin with. when i called wells fargo directly instead of calling this number, i was imformed that it was a scam.

I've been getting calls from this number.
When I get a call and they ask to speak with me I say, "One second I'll go get him." Then I put down the phone and call out my name so the person on the phone can hear me and actually think 'Chris' will be coming to the phone. I just leave the phone and make them wait, eventually they'll hang up but I've wasted their time. Its my way of getting back at them and has prevented them from contacting others while they wait for me.
If I have the time I'll engage them as the person who answered the call. If they haven't hung up after about 1 minute I'll tell them, 'Chris' will be here in just a few seconds he coming in from outside. After a bit I'll ask who'd calling and then make them wait. I keep asking them things like this but they'll never get to talk to 'Chris' and its good fun to hear the frustration in their voice. Finally they'll hang up.
I wish everyone would do stuff like this to people like them.

877-415-9258 Calls our home multiple times daily and we've only gotten dead air when we answer the phone. You are allowed to file a complaint with Do Not Call for every violation, maybe if every body would start filing complaints daily (twice) they might take notice.

Thanks for this tip. I just checked my privacy settings as per your post and sure enough you were right. I changed all of the preferences to no contact. We'll have to wait and see if they stop calling.

i complained at their website, they call every day, say it'll be 30 days to stop, i don't believe Wells would hire such unprofessional callers, the guy i talked to today couldn't even spell the company name - Influent. I googled and emailed complaint. Everyone should do the same.

After reading the comments I found out it was Wells Fargo. I have morgage with them (very current) so I called the number. I received a pre-recorded message stating that they have a promo currently going on and offered that I could be removed from thier "list" which I said yes and then they offered if I wanted to be taken off all future promotions, which I said yes again.

i have received about 40 calls from this number. i do not answer it. they never leave a message on our phone.
i am fed-up with these calls i have put in complaints online against this number. it doesn't seem to help.

We have been receiving these phone calls for months and we are fed up. After reverse checking the number, we learned that it was affliated with Wells-Fargo. Just a hint for everyone. If do ANY kind of business with Wells-Fargo such as them holding your mortgage, go online to their account services tab. Click on "Privacy Preferences" and check to see what your settings are. Automatic default is you would love to receive contact from Wells-Fargo and any of their partners that may have something to sell to you. Read that they are selling and/or renting their lists of customers. Good Luck!

I called the 877-415-9258 and it said 'disconnected or no longer in service'. I just got another call from it this morning. I have lost count of the number of calls I have received.

There is absolutely no reason for Wells Fargo to call me. I have NEVER done ANY business with them. This is NOT Wells Fargo!
